In the Bible there are many references to Hell and what it will be like and some that mention what God provides (like water, love, and peace). If you don't want God around, so be it, he will respect your wishes and send you somewhere without him. As for the Bible, please disprove it. C.S. Lewis attempted this.
To those who ask why a good God would send people to hell, think about this: If you aren't going to serve God here on earth, why would he be so cruel as to force you to live with him for all eternity. God put free will in place so that we can choose to serve Him or not. It is your choice. Ultimately, if you choose to reject his teaching, then He won't force you to be with Him when you die. I remember when i was up at a camp, the worship band was playing hillsong uniteds "tear down the walls" and it dropped me when they sing "and to all the sons and daughters, whove been walking in the darkness, youre calling us to lead them back to you", but other people it was just a worship song to. Certain songs will touch certain people, you may just not be someone this song needs to touch.

@smockboy13 What do you think? Do we really have free will? God created man in order to have a relationship with him. He gave us the choice to sin or not. God did not plan for Adam to sin. He made the choice to be silent and then take the apple from Eve. God has PLANS for us to prosper, but when you make plans, they sometimes fall through. We can choose to follow him because he wants the best for us, or we can choose to disobey him and go our own way. He hopes you will choose the former.

God sent Jesus, I believe, as a way of atonement because he wanted to keep the relationship with us, but couldn't look upon sin. He is that holy. He purposed for Jesus to die on the cross so that YOU can choose to believe he is the Son of God and died for you, or you can choose to believe that he didn't. It is your choice, therefore, you have free will.

@Miragexe No, we should be thankful for a God that sent his Son to die for the selfishness of the world so that those who believe don't have to go to hell. You're missing the whole point. There is no place in the Bible that says God likes to punish people or wants to send them to hell. God wanted to redeem the world, not condemn it. John 3:17 says this. Second Peter 3:9 says God doesn't want any to die without knowing his forgiveness. What kind of God should we be thankful for?

@neginG1997 i think that ola gustafsson is right. Not all songs are going to touch every single person. I remember when i was up at a camp, the worship band was playing hillsong uniteds "tear down the walls" and it dropped me when they sing "and to all the sons and daughters, whove been walking in the darkness, youre calling us to lead them back to you", but other people it was just a worship song to. Certain songs will touch certain people, you may just not be someone this song needs to touch.

I Mean i was watching a Hollywood Undead video a few weeks ago who are DEFINITELY not Christian.... at least half the comments were about religion. So i just hope that they tone it down to only these bands, or just tone it down overall so there isn't a conversation/argument about religion everywhere i go.. :)

@aj12695 how society views "christians" now is, One who believes in God. Well if that were true, then Satan and all of his demons would also be christians. A much better way to describe a true christian, is "Follwer of Christ". Many people fail to realize that God is not a ruler, He is a Father, just because we call Him, King does not mean anything other than that we respect Him. Its upsetting when people dont realize that all christianity is, is a relationship through jesus.
