  • thats a pretty bad ass clip. i miss the days doing tkd

  • buen video amigo el taekwondo es increible

  • I'll just post frank comment. No offense. Turning kicks especially using the upper part of the feet are only suitable for sports fighting. Not ideal in reality unless you are wearing safety boots with metal top. In reality, turning kicks are more ideal for blocking. You need kicks with direct thrust such as sidekick, front kick, back kick, etc to fight thugs. Kicks that do not inflict much damage, the robber or thug would charge forward towards you if he is not down.

  • amazing kick :)

  • Fajny sport

  • great kicks

  • Nice!

  • You show great technique and speed.

  • good kicks

  • Cool! I s there any girl who is able to do that? :)

  • you've got great kicks man but next time, watch what you name the video, these are Roundhouse kick variations, and turning roundhouses(which is what i believe you meant by "turning kick") are just a variation of roundhouses so its kinda included in "Roundhouse kick variations" but still pretty good

  • well done. thanks for sending. I sub'd. Gotta support my fellow marital artists.

  • Awesome kicks! but just some advice, make sure you retract your legs, don't drop leg after the kick. I know because of experience lol

  • NICE MAN good job!

  • nice kicks i dont practice in this style but know its very effective

  • I am a blue belt in also taekwondo, these were some really nice kicks:)

  • damn..good video.

  • These are good kicks for karate but they are mostly show kicks, only contact is needed to score points in karate. Now im not saying these would not hurt if they hit you because hell yea they would hurt but they are not kicks that are rib breakers or knockout kicks. Good video tho man

  • nice vid and great kicks, though i find muay thai more interesting.

  • @dirtywhiteboymma something i have come to use recently is a reverse feint, so spin like your going to do a back kick or reverde hook and land the leg behind. often your opponent wil then see an oppertunity to move in and thats when you kick the side kick towards thier chest (with your front leg). in my experience it works very well, let me know what you think.

  • Any clips working Axe Kicks?

  • If you utilize the extremely powerful side kick (JKD version, or even Sambo, w/seizing hand/wrist), what do you use as feint, to set it up, or what "series" (be they feints, actual faster attacks, etc.) of movements do you use to make certain the kick gets in, &/or about your safe recovery, if missed? Pretty, & mean that w/sincere appreciation. I've gotten into a phase of poetic movements, in past couple yrs., again.

  • Realy awesome ! ~ although some shall miss the point of it all in your video and movements , I favorited & subbed you ! ~ Nice moves bro , GR8 video ! glad to have you here , I hope you subb back ! .. cheers ! keep making these wonderful videos ! =) gus

    I favorite'd this !

  • Nice !

  • EVERYONE SHUT UP YOUR CRITIQUE IS USELESS HIS TECHNIQUE IS SEEN WHERE IS YOUR PERFECT TECHNIQUE? SHOW US MISS PERFECT

btw i say its a good video. your interpretations of different styles/types of kick. Don't mind couch critics

  • @kidcornchip I agree with a bit of your comment, but many of us critique so he as a matrial artist can improve. That is what the mind set a martial artist should be like. Always be ready to learn more

  • hwoarang

  • the kicks is nice to see for a show.. but in real fight.. no.. dont kick on the tip of your foot.

  • You're not following fundamentals (perhaps intentionally) in the form but it doesn't appear to be having much of an effect on your overall kicks. Try bending your knee more before kicking, and also raising the knee higher. You're kicking with the ball and socket join of your hip, and it lets you go faster but with less power, the actual moment of impact should be from releasing the knee.

  • nice kicks....tkd is iight kind of similar to muay thai in some things.....

  • Nice kicks. i can't do that but i want to.

  • i do muay thai and have for a long time now. just wanted to say his tkd kicks are good but for that round house you really wanna bust into it and go thru it rather then hit it. for me i throw it but i drive forward (or an angle pending target) and throw myself into that kick, its very off balance kick if your not use to it but on that same deal your kicking i can almost knock it over, never tried to due to it not being mine. none the less powerful.

  • @ExtraLuke Wow, those were really nice 360 degree roundhouse kicks! I think the main thing to work on is to follow through with the kicks more. Because almost every time you threw a roundhouse to the chest area, it seems as though you had stopped the kick instead of pushing a lot more force on it. But that was really nice! :D

  • funny! looks like balett!

  • @SapphireDusk1 i mainly uses my right foot because i wanted to show the connection of the kicks to the camera :)

  • It was good, but it seems to me you're just right footed, there was only check in kicks with the left

  • pretty cool. You gave me some sparring ideas lol

  • Nice, smooth for MAN...

  • You´re ExtraAwesome

  • AWESOME display of a full range of RoundHouse Kicks ! ! !

5 STARS for putting up your workout on the YouTube..

    Thanks for posting

    Paulie D' The Punch Professor

  • Your good; thanks for the invite, but I Think you hould turn your hips more :) Thanks

  • Teakwondo is good if ur young. As you get older ur not that quick.

I suggest to train Defendo,Kravmaga,Kapap,Pekiti tirsia, nijutsu or Hapkido.

Learn what weak points to strike. The best way to train is with a partner.

Do you know what to do if some1 chokes you from behind? Kicking won't help.

    Good moves there.

  • you're sloppy =p...i see alot of mess ups, but you have the form, though it's not perfect

  • @wowantonlavey in wtf style taekwondo the hips are not suppose to be turned all the way (gives the kick slow recovery time in that STYLE) now IF he was a KARATE practioner, then yeah the hips have to be turned cus its tradional..In wtf you HAVE to kick at a 45 45 angle cause if your're sparring some one in this style and you twist your hips all the over?..thats a easy point(cus of the recovery from the traditional round kick)

  • @XxlxSmoKexlxX You are still supposed to still flip your hips in WTF, im a 4th degree wtf blackbelt from kangs taekwondo in winnipeg manitoba. snap kick and its variations are for speed used in scoring points in sparing or as a kicking jab, but these are not those kicks turning over the knee, The kicks demonstrated would be below the effectiveness needed to score a point in any WTF tourny under a national level or even a large regional event.

  • @oliveKos i was just doing different types of turning kick (round house) for this vid, but i will do some with back kicks too :D

  • nice tornado roundhouses, you shoulda thrown in some spinning back-kicks though :)

  • Great video

  • woah..thanks for invite.. I really enjoyed myself watching this video.. :D

uhm.. that's taekwondo? cause I see that you have South Korea's flag on that wall.. :)

I'm also a taekwondo "freak"! ahah... I practiced 1 year taekwondo itf, wushu and koryu bujutsu for few months and taekwondo wtf since 7 years ago.. I still practice taekwondo wtf style :)

I like that you kick clear and relaxed.. but you didn't used all the kicks.. like "ti-chiagi"

in a fight the most important is to not get tired..

  • You should turn your hips over more when you kick, and your kick should be reaching full extension about half way through your target. Your kinda hitting it and stopping as soon as you make contact. Good flexibility and execution other wise though.

  • @JRMtronica i was using my right leg mainly to show the connection of the kicks. :)

  • @ExtraLuke Yah for sure. Put your best foot forward *dumbass pun*, haha.

  • what happened to the recover after the kicks??

  • u got good Technic ..but i hope u just don't concentrate on using ur right leg to attack only right? It's good to attack using alternate leg simultaneously. Unless this video is only for one leg kicking? Good job though. Heee..

  • @freaker126 I was about to say the exact same thing. Proficiency with both legs is a good idea. Good vid otherwise.

  • @JRMtronica yeah, i used to train in tkd and also trained wth my friend who was going to korea for the competition. But anyway, he told me bfr that he like van damne in one of his movie because he used both legs. Anyway good vid. Not into it anymore. Getting old ..haha

  • @freaker126 Haha, fair enough.

  • Yo, i like it. Yes, it's nice!

  • nice video, really helps me with my taekwondo :)

  • I liked the video but I look forward to seeing more videos that use a wider variety of kicks and that uses them in a good combination I.E. the roundhouse to tornado but hopefully more advanced and crazier. :)

  • Excellent Work! Thumbs Up! :-)

  • very good, timing is pretty spot on

i understand that you are teaching technique

you might want to bring your lead leg a bit higher for some of the kicks

    just a suggestion

  • a ok ask coments from my frind in facebook ok his name is Hilarion y. Elpa his one of the head of taekwondo here in the philippines ask tell him that ur a friend of mine cause I am more on arnis and we dont have high kicks as well as turning ok check hi site

  • YOU ARE 4 DAN ?!?!?!?! and you only kick with palton Chagi.... ?!?!?!? thats lame... show more jumps, turn an roundhouse kicks.... SHOW ME why you got the 4 DAN...

  • thats good

  • 1:22 is fricking insane!!! Great vid man.

  • Hi Michael, thank you for the invite to watch your work, keep up your discipline and focus it's good to see....how do you want me to message you ref your question , by this means, as in public or privately by e.mail?..R.DYFHi....

  • Nice. You look very flexible too, make a vid on your stretching =-]

  • Nice techniques keeps your opponent guessing with the different kicks!!

  • Hey, well I don't know much, to be honest anything about karate but you're cool :)

  • super j`aime bien

  • Hey mate, got your message. While i am a Muay Thai practitioner, using kicks in a different fashion, i will gladly comment on this video. The kicks you display appear to be masterfully executed. Very fast and awesome technique.

  • Simple techniques, yet very effective. Thanks for sending me this video.

  • pounsé taigeu ingen

  • viva taekwendo!!!!!!

  • I've been practicing the technique a few months but no good for me maybe I should try harder T_T

  • but anyways.. u did the kicks well. good work man.. keep it up :D the only thing that i think that you can improve is the power

  • with a good guard a kick like this wont go in :P

  • LOVE IT!!!

  • good shit

  • Nice vid man!

  • Thanks for the share, I wish I can get back to the training someday!

  • Very nice! Lots of power! I used to do this stuff many years ago until I broke my knee in a bout:-(

    Cheers!

  • nice balance discipline

  • Nice job - keep sharing - be sure to train outside - rough ground - fields - wearing boots - 3 daypack and real street clothes. Train against grapplers - filipino styles and of course other karates --- training is good - perection is good - practice is good - but there must be a real resisting opponent trying to waste you for all of OUR training to have any relevence. Belts and titles pale next to real ability.

  • the kicks are nice, but you're always doing the same kicks...try to do some 540 kick and 720 kick.. watch my videos... i do lots of kicks

  • Nice kicks. In a real fight they should be used with caution since they get you too close from the opponent, risking a counter attack.

  • Sorry but I just don't think any of these looks useful in the real world. I learned TKD for 3 years and thought it was a waste of time. I'm not trying to be rude - it's just my opinion.

  • Good quality video, and execution... As a Kenpo guy though it's hard to keep a straight face watching the actual attacks... I just kept hearing "Snap, Krackle Pop..." in the background...

  • Not bad, looks like no water in BOB and you are just tapping. The only thing I did not like was that you tend to finish as you make impact and just let your leg come home on it's own. A crisper finish would be better.

  • wow!! amazing

  • You have pretty good kicks, but if you want to improve just keep practicing and it will naturally become better and better. You already have good kicks <3.

  • Cool music man good kicks too. Can you do a 720? I do kind of a cheat 720 its more of a low roundhouse to a spinning hook to a jumping roundhouse, but eh, it works well for me and has lots of power.

  • i like the one at 1:33

  • TKD ALL THE WAY!! man been doin this for years ever since I was a little kid.....

and I gotta say these are some good demonstration kicks!

but there is room for improvement, keep it up

  • @noweirdbeard no, but it has been close. :p

  • @crewifyable these are just demonstration kicks, they arent how i would use them in a fight necissarily. and i will always try to improve myself as much as possible! :)

  • you are clearly not a fighter, why on earth would you kick with your foot? doesn't make sense, use your shins instead. i don't understand why you would train taekwando as a striking art are there no Muay Thai gyms about near you?

  • @oFR3Do ok, but lemme say this, "Taekwondo" means "Art of the Fist and Foot".

  • @5nesta never seen any TKD practicioners let their hands go properly, and their kicks just aren't effective compared to other styles

  • @oFR3Do oh their kicks are effective believe me, it depends on how you do it. gotta remember too this is just a demonstration.

  • @5nesta it's just not in my opinion a good idea to use your foot to kick, TKD kickers are quick with their kicks just not as powerful compared to others, also jumping and spinning kicks bug me quite a bit. i prefer to use kicks to the thighs to set up my hands and throw the occasional mid/head kick, how do you use these techniques?

  • @oFR3Do It all depends on the martial artist and their style. oh but it's kinda foolish to think that one martial art is better than the other. It's all on the person.

  • @oFR3Do muy thai isint better and teakwondo relies on the foot. A martial arts style is only as good as the one that knows how to apply it, i use the kicks in this video tons of times.

  • Has that counter weight ever come down on your foot after a kick?

  • are you just demoing? or really hitting that dummy? Speed is good, power is okay, I think you need to improve on your kicks, improve them more than 1000 times it is now. Every fighter should improve EVERYTHING 1000 times more than they already are.

  • awesome video!! =)

  • Great video you're really good !

  • man this is one of the reason i do TKD<33

    i love it so much

    im 4 years doing it

    im ITF not WTF

whats the name of the song:O its amazing

    im irish btw

    also liked*

  • BLACK BELT ?

Remind me never to enter into an argument with you !

    :c)

  • @MackenzieMichael i used my right leg so that the connection of the kick can be seen. i might put the BOB on the other side for another video. :)

  • i do not even have white belt....your kicks look good 2me....4theforceofgood

  • Very skilled, even though Taekwondo isn't my thing ;P it was a great vid. I'll sub :)

  • Great skills! Congrats and best regards! Is it shotokan karate? I did it also some years ago!

  • Some of these kicks are what I'd especially would like to see replayed in slow-motion, particularly the fake-outs.

  • Very good Taekwondo skills! Everything was done very well. May I ask what black belt degree you are?

  • @U2LedZep i am a fourth dan :)

  • @ExtraLuke

Like your vid, very much..Thanx for the invite..;))

  • @ExtraLuke can you do buterfly kick

  • @ExtraLuke How long did it take you too reach that level?

  • From a kickboxing perspective I would recommend "kicking through" the dummy verses stopping at the surface on your round kicks. Other than that nice presentation and music selection. :-)

  • @0trashz i train with mma trained people all the time..

  • @0trashz i land a lot of these kicks, its mainly about when to use them really, many of these are only for specific situations. The ones with feigns tend to work best. But this is just a demonstration of different ways of doing a turning kick, just trying to get people to see that it is versitile and maybe encourage them to try some :)

  • GREAT!!!!!! Thumbs up from Little Vader!!!!!!

  • Great kick .l had taekwondo with 8 years . Great memories

  • KISSES ♥

  • bardzo piekne

  • SUPER

  • good technique

  • Not bad :)

  • And haters I performed as defence stance the spinning fly kick to head many times on contest enviroment. It needs to be defence move rather than attack or you are made yourself vurneble to counter attack iw front push kick or quick side kick. Whn opponent attacks the round kics is good as it fools opponent a bit delivering the round kick succesfully. Also in next video you could perform spinnign backside kick and defence stance kicks while in contact with opponent ie. dummy doll.

  • Nice to see that Tae Kwon Do is still practised. I was formelly taking Tae Kwon Do classes also. Good kicks and stamina but improve the speed and you will be champ.

  • ok i dont mean to sound like a hater or anything but i myself am a blackbelt in tae kwon do so my word of advice would be one when you do round house kick use the ball of your foot because it will focus your power on to a smaller surface area generating more power plus you would have a lesses chance of hurting your foot. two keep your hands up. if you fight someone who is real good the will simply block then counter and it would be all over for you.

  • Well done! You almost knocked that dummy over a couple of times.

  • Ok all the haters, I'm sure he won't be throwing all those fancy spinning techniques in a real fight. It's a cool demonstration. The thing about TaeKwonDo is unlike Muy Thai he throws kicks from the stance. It's doesn't have as much power per-say as the Thai way of doing things. But it doesn't have that wind up step and then throw the kick so it's not telegraphed and things land more often. Only critique I have for you is keep your hands up they tend to drop when you kick. If someone side step

  • Cool :) Thumbs up.

  • good one

  • RESPECT. I JUST KICKED MY HAT OFF THE HOOK & LANDED ON MY ASS. YOU MADE IT LOOK TOO EASY.

  • excellent kicks. wow you are great.

  • Wow! How long have you trained in taekwondo? Those were some brilliant kicks!

  • @PandaLord13 I have been training for 17 years now :)

  • just one word great!!

  • Great Post.*****Thumbs up

  • check out my channel people see what you think comment and subcribe me and i subcribe to you:)

  • your vid is sick and your moves are really great just keep up on what you doing

  • nice..

  • Ur really great at what u do

  • Like it! Very good :)

  • キックする時にジャンプをしてはいけない。

Taekwondo = jump kick = not Martial Arts

  • @v9c9v i dont quite understand that logic.

  • @ExtraLuke Thats because he's a moron. I have studied at least some of most martial arts offered in the states, while I am still mainly TKD, I find other styles to be vastly more powerful in technique. Krav Maga is no nonsense, no flash, all technique and power, different styles of kung fu are fast and fluid, and because of the technique, extremely powerful. I chose TKD because I am a natural at it. It has still been my experience that jumping is almost always a bad idea.

  • @MackenzieMichael Muay Thai all the way, no need to mess about with this nonsense

  • @oFR3Do I do love Muay Thai. I have learned that pressure points do not work on a seasoned Muay Thai practitioner. You pretty much have to break bones or blast out their eardrums to throw off their balance. Then they are rather easy to beat after that point. As someone who is a known Martial Artist in my town. I do my actual training behind closed doors and do what most people expect to see in public. Element of surprise, my friend.

  • @oFR3Do teakwondo is only as good as the one who knowws how to use it. you think muy thai is better? sheer ignorance, whats the point of learning muy thai if you don't know how to use it.

  • @ExtraLuke I notice that you favor your right leg as I do my left. (I am right handed.) You should post a vid showing off your other leg's skill.

  • @0trashz Same power, double the speed, and half the range. The speed deficiency can easily be remedied in a street fight by going for the legs though. It doesn't take much to snap a knee. All that really matters is speed. So maybe a TKD practitioner would go down in the MMA ring but the MMA fighter would surely go down when there is no ring.

  • @v9c9v I just shed a tear.

  • I'm a little heavy on my feet, and since you're sharing it with me, I'd suggest you keep the hands up when you fight someone. Also, kick with the ball of the foot if you're going to kick a hard area like the head. I'm in itf tkd. I haven't been there for awhile because of my back problem, but. Good luck!

  • @WorldOfIvillis though you can't kick with the ball of the foot when you're fighting in ITF TKD. You may kill your opponent, and that doesn't sound too good, does it? XD

  • @Klayre Lowl like the one guy said up there, you can, it's just hard to get it to work aha, and it gives less chance for your feet to get injured.

  • @WorldOfIvillis I don't think I'll take the chance. XD

  • Thanks for sending the video awesome!
