Intel does rock but AMD does have an overclockable quad core 9950 which is 2.6 ghz "Black Edition"

also Ghz don't really matter when overclocking the front side bus does. 3D benchmark shows Intel's Q6600 is around the same as the 9950.

Guy are you serious!??? dude you have it backwards. AMD has the Overclockable option. Intel is only good because its marketed better then Intel, and if you really want to argue, Intel owns most of AMD because if AMD didnt exist there would be a monopoly and none of them will exist. all and all they are both exactly the same, there is no better company.
