  • Velma Dinkley!

  • I have been watching Scooby Doo since I was young and I love it nothing beats the classic Scooby but this series is better then shaggy Scooby Doo get a clue. This series is a lot more darker and scarier but the whole thing with Mr. E is cool to put all the clues together I would recommend watching it it's good and the second season starts this May

  • While it may be true that nothing beats the classic Scooby Doo, this show really isn't as bad as people think it is. It adds a whole lot more depth to the show and characters. One of the only decent shows on Cartoon Network.

  • Nothing will beat the Classic!

  • es gracioso porque es estupido

  • did u guys know guys know that scooby-doo mystery inc. season1 part 2 is going to come out at january. lol on my moms account (:

  • I was watching an episode with Proffesor Pericles and my brother went like

    How can that bird talk?

    And I said

    How can Scooby?

    Good point

  • In the last episode, theres murder!

Okay this crazy parrot, and this spy are in the spys house ( the parrot broke in)

Say what you want, AND GET OUT OF ME HOUSE

Crazy Parrot: Hhahaha, dear ed, I do not want to SAY, anything...

(And the screen zooms out and you hear the guy scream.)

    ON SCOOBY DOO? MURDER

    Awesome

  • oh my god, i HATE this show!

  • I have only ever watched this because my nephew is obsessed with it. I must say it is probably the dakrest Scooby Doo yet and whilst it's not the best, it's not the worst (it's far better than "Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get a Clue!"). Loads of twists to try to make their audience think. And of course, Matthew Lillard as Shaggy? Enough said! He was by far the best casting in the live action films. And of course you got Frank Welker returning as Fred and Scooby. This is definitely worth a watch!

  • The last episode of season 1 was pretty dark for Scooby-Doo, but then again this show was full of surprises. But I didn't expect something like that in a kids series.

  • I've watched through the entire season now, and it is sooooo amazing! HURRY THE 'F UP CARTOON NETWORK; WE NEED MORE!

  • I like this Scooby-Doo better than the old ones! No offence!

  • I love this theme, especially the rock elements that show up during the end of Fred's introduction and Daphne's!

  • This is an awesome intro :)

  • This is not the worst Scooby-Doo but its not the best. Not by far. I'm 16 and made it my personal goal to watch all Scooby-Doo. I gotta say Scooby-Doo, Were Are You? is still my all time favorite.

  • I'm not a big fan of Scooby Doo but this show is actually very good. And like that Matthew Lillard came back to do Shaggy's voice.

  • At first, I hated this new scooby doo. But then as I started to watch it I started to love it !! Finaly, Dapfne and fred get together and so do Shaggy and Velma :P .. I have been watching scooby doo since i was 3 (i'm now 14.. but shh! Don't tell my freinds ;P )

  • ... It's an established world, with a town, supporting characters, and a genuinely interesting story that gets mind-blowing (for Scooby-Doo) at the end. Each episode is a chapter in a story, not random sitcommish garbage, and the series gets shockingly dark at times. It's also more realistic; note that they've always been "meddling kids," yet this is the only series (besides A Pup Named...) that treats them as such. It's easily the best Scooby cartoon ever, people need to just get over the eyes.

  • @BalladOfGales when does the 2nd season start

  • Comment removed

  • @BalladOfGales I'm so glad someone else agrees. I'm a nostalgic and do love the original series but since then until this series, the best were Zombie Island and Witch's Ghost....The rest seem to be cliched rubbish keen to dumb down the audience. This show is not perfect but IMO, it does try to be clever and dark and realistic and the season 1 finale is by far the best episode in the series and possibly the best in a long time. Can't wait to show Season 2 to my nephew :-)

  • This show is not half bad, more original than the last horribly attempt, I want the next season already.

  • @LolVermillion The second season is going to air this fall. :)))))

  • @Filip1830 Septmber-ish?

  • @LolVermillion If by "September-ish?" you mean "In september?",i don't know.I hope so.

  • First season was a love letter to fans who ship Freddie/Daphne and Saggy/Velma, which was not a bad thing.

Actually, of all the Sooby Doo spin offs, this is the one I've liked the best because of the reason I wrote above.

  • @BohemianBebop I am giving it a chance ergo the " but it's ok " lol ..

    I was js

  • They've changed the looks of the characters :/

  • @boosie1596 I never miss it lol ;)

  • It's not the same old show but it's ok

    -

The art ? I don't think I'll ever rlly like it .__. Where's the white in the eyes?!

    -

What bothers me is the most is that Freds dad is diff. now ! Freds dad used to look like him w/ close hair & he used to act all carefree but now he's a business man w/ black hair -:|

I want Skip Jones NOT "Fredrick Jones Sr"

  • @iBeFloe You sound like you're talking about Whats New Scooby Doo.

  • Just saw this whilst channel-flipping. Scooby-Doo got pretty badass since I last watched. I'll always prefer the classic one, but nice job creators....nice job indeed.

  • Lol I'm a teen and this is one of my favourite shows Xx :)

  • @mrlolipoplove same. I'm 15 and its my favorite show on cartoon network.

  • I'd previously said that I hated the look of this show. But now I've seen some of the episodes and I think that this is actually very good. I enjoy how there is an ongoing mystery throughout the course of the show. Anyway, what I mean is don't judge abook by it's cover, you never know, it might surprise you.

  • @HardCoreConkerFan26 Don't believe all you hear, buddy. Go straight to the true: Ask Joe Ruby & Ken Spears, Scooby-Doo creators, their opinion and you'll find out some interesting things. I wish people would take the time to read, investigate, get informed on the writing-production process of the diferent SD shows (specially this one), instead of just hearing to some I-know-it-all-and-everything-I-say-it's-the-absolute-true fans out there. Really people, we're only fans, we're not the creators

  • LOL the show is very nice but ... I kinda miss the mysteries . Like its too obvious who the culprit is because theres only 2 suspects or something . . . And its like the WHATS NEW SCOOBY DOO & the others were more mysterious <3

  • Lol what happened to Fred's eyes? O_O

  • whats with fred's enormous chin in this one?

  • After reading about it and all its drama, I think I'll stick to the classic Scooby Doo Where Are You. Sorry.

  • Joe Ruby and Ken Spears (the ACTUAL creators of Scooby Doo) are supervising this show.

  • this show does take on a darker look on it and that makes it a little more appealing. I miss the comedy of the old style but they do a fairly good job. one of the few good cartoons we got now

  • they took the classic scooby doo and ruined it that's what I heard

  • fred's chin is bigger than usual

  • anyone seen the episode with jabberjaw, captain cave, and speedy

  • @ThunderX19 is it when all the teenage detectives and there sidekicks get invited to mystery thing then all the gangs get kidnaped and its up to the sidekicks to help slove the mystery?

  • @DraculauraGhoulChick yep :) it was awesome to see them again after all these years

  • I like this intro. The animation looks very stylised.

  • WOAH FRED'S LEGS LOOK SO SPINDLY AT THE END O_O (0:30)

  • some interesting things related to this and my fave UK tv show Doctor Who:

    A. I have been writing scripts for a SDMI/DW Crossover

    B. I think Mr.E is Fred Jones Sr, watch eps 1 and 17 to see

    C. I think that Angel Dynamite is Cassidy Williams, watch eps 4 and 16 to see

  • Fred looks younger in this series :P

  • not really a big fan of the blank eyes, i mean sure the style worked for the really old scooby doo series but in this modern tv season, uhh uhh :(

  • @MONSTER743 i think they did a good job here though.

  • Shit... I hate the eyes... >_>

  • @ronin6401 really? i thought the original was bad to begin with, with whats new scooby doo being basically the same, only with a few improvements. this seems like its at least trying to be different, adding, you know, backstory to the characters so every episode isnt identical to one another.

  • @Extra365 Well here's something to consider. The whole purpose for the criminals disguising themselves as ghosts is to scare people away so they can get away with whatever scam they're involved in. But in this version, the Mayor of Crystal Cove (Fred's dad) brings massive attention to the "ghosts" in order to draw in tourists, which defeats the whole point of disguising oneself as a ghost in order to evade the law in the first place. Take for instance (continued in next reply)

  • @ronin6401 well scooby doo isnt exactly the most logical show, is it? in this case its perfectly acceptable to say that there just happen to be more masked criminals in the area, the police dont give a fuck, etc.

  • @ronin6401 I'd say then they dress up so they are protected by the mayor

  • @Extra365 (continued from last reply) the episode with the two Humongonauts (which was a blatant and shameless ripoff I might add of the Japanese film War of the Gargantuas) where the monsters wreck a cabana club that the Mayor himself sunk heavy collateral into.

  • Fred looks like the Canadians from South Park =)

  • fred looks like he has down syndrome...

  • Velma is even hotter in this show.

Shaggy chooses the dog over her, you can have a pet/friend and a girlfriend at the same time he needs to know.

  • okay, they obviously updated in technology and had new writers that make it a great show, giving it some modern humor (so i've heard) and the new animation is awesome as well. but don't you think the makers could've done something about their wardrobe as well?

  • 0:10

I cant get over Fred's face. It doesn't match the rest of his head!

Everyone else looks pretty cool though.

  • THIS SHIT FUCKING SUCKS! thats not the real scooby doo. The only good SD show was from 1969 to 1986. Thumbs up if you agree.

  • @UnimaginableNick

Are you kidding me? Scooby Doo sucked in the '80s.

  • Comment removed

  • This intro is not that good.

  • je trouve que sa ne fait pas tres scooby doo le générique de la new serie

  • I don't know why, but this Scooby Doo show just pisses me off.

  • My friend said she thought it had a good intro so I watched it on telly today and thought it sucked! The orignal will always be the best tune (and cartoon!) but what's new scooby doo has a pretty catchy tune too.

This one would have been way better if they'd included some lyrics. (I also hate the new Velma)

  • ESTA SERIE LLEGA EN FEBRERO/MARZO A CARTOON NETWORK LATINOAMÉRICA! Bueno supuestamente pero igual ya fue confirmado que llega este año! La emoción es demasiada! No puedo esperar! *Clikea el botón repetir*

This series will arrive to Latin America in february/march, it wasn't confirmed yet but will arrive this year! Too much excitement I can't whait! mystery, drama, romance, and my fave pair of all time has been made canon, what else could I ask for? I hope it'll be as good as people say it is

  • Friggin' love this show. Best thing to come out of CN in a while. My only problem with it though is that they kind of made Scooby and insufferable prick. Still, it's entertaining to watch, and I like that this show actually has a continuing plot.

  • @BIGBLUBLUR

Scooby is a prick in this series, he's preventing Shaggy from tapping that ass.

  • shit man they should use a new version of the classic "scooby dooby doo, where are you?" song for the intro, or at least "what's new scooby doo?", but not this retarded tune

  • "What's New Scooby-Doo?" (2002 - 2005) is so much better than this shit. Freddy looks like a square; and the opening is so awful. Simple Plan has the best sound!!

  • @HolmesKun oh did i mention that the characters designs are from scooby doo where ary you!

  • i luv dis series but y r shaggyn velma an item thats not like the original

  • Before this series I never really got into scooby doo it just wasn't for me but now I love these characters fred the most boring of the entire original cast is now my favorite.

  • does anyone know when the newest (14th) episode will air?

  • They went back to the classic Hannah Barbara style. It's looking good.

  • Man, Mr. E sure is a mysterious character ever, he even gave me the chills!

....Either that, or it was the snow.

  • Hay I like how they are taking risks at developing the characters little more than the original. I don't see why people are so afraid of this. Shaggy and Velma can't have a relationship? My father likes the idea of them giving them a relationship.

I will take his opinion over anyone else on this for he was there as a kid when the very first Scooby Doo cartoon was made. Take chances and try to accept change or stay stale throughout your life and be afraid of change.

  • Funny how all the negative comments can be summarized as "wah wah stop liking what i don't like this isn't a rerun of the original so it sucks". Personally, I'm eager to give this show a look once I get the chance, a Scooby Doo show with the original cast and an overarching plot can be the refreshing change it needed to keep from getting stale.

  • @daniskaoz This is the second time Warner Bros have done Scooby-Doo. The first was the live-action movies, and this is far superior. Of course that's not hard.

  • i love this series on how un afraid it is 2 be scarier for kids. i mean cmon theres kissing and god damn ugly creatures, ITS AMAZING!. the only things i dnt like are there eyes. i would prefer if they had normal eyes and fred just looks massive. but other than that this show is amazing and i love how mathew lillard plays shaggy (he plays shaggy in the live action movies :P) as it makes the movies and shows feel closer. i hope they make this series into a remake of the live action movies :D

  • They redesign EVERY single character in cartoon-history, even the all-time-allstars like Bugs Bunny; but Scooby and his friends ALWAYS look the same, although they are defintaley could (not need) use some kind of restyling. Don't really understand ...

  • @BelieveIt1051 i agree where are you and the scooby doo show were awesome

  • IF its any better than that Whats new Scooby doo i will be pleased, every1 should know that the old style can't really be recreated unless they use the traditional animation style and if The original creators made the script again.

  • @OilyTower This show is 1000 times better than What's New. Check it out. As fast as you can. O_O

  • This might not be the original series but it's 300% better than a whole lot of other shows on now.

  • @13scoob13 Besides Joe Barrbera was the Executive producer for WNSD he was the one who decided what should be in or not. He even said so in his past interviews.

  • man i love this intro it has that old cartoon feel to it and the show is pretty good to way better then whats new scooby doo

  • scooby-doo! mystery incorporated owns so much its just epic

  • @garzilla3dx no I did and I didn't like it all that much, what, you can't accept someone has a different opinion on what makes a better show, the original isn't always the best.

  • @ZigTheHunter True, but I think that CN should put more effort into creating new shows instead of rehashing old ones

  • @garzilla3dx i personal like this series a lot. How there is a mystery inside the mystery like that Mr. E character. And how all the mysteries are connected. I know this sounds weird but how violent the monsters are in these episodes really grab my attention. I will always love "Scooby Doo Where are you" I got all episodes on DVD but this series is a good one. Glad they made it =)

  • @garzilla3dx Cartoon Network (or new cartoon shows in general) don't appeal to me anymore. There's too much computer animation even in 2-D shows and the digital colouring are way too bright. It's either that or I'm getting old. I'm a '90s kid so cartoons were better back then.

  • @garzilla3dx its better this way. a lot better in my opinion, my favorite version of scooby doo ever.

  • Fred Jones

    Daphne Blake

    Velma Dinkley

    Shaggy Rogers

    Scooby Doo

Their full names appear in the backgrounds.

I never actually knew that Shaggy had a last name until now.

  • @Waffenbaum Did you know that Shaggy's first name is actually Norville? Shaggy is simply a nickname.

  • @SasukeUchiha36511 im surprised you didnt know that they mention it in several different show and direct to video film as long as in the movies, no offense

  • Scooby Doo is returning <3

  • Is it just me or does it look like Daphne has no pupil? XD

  • @Chozolover It's done in a semi-retro style.

  • 0:06-0:10 my favorite part. the theme sounds awesome.

  • @garzilla3dx i like this change honestly

  • Comment removed

  • So..judging by the intro, I suppose there are going to be some FreddxDaphne moments xD

  • i will go to new episode reruns at 9:30pm in every monday night because i missed episode at 7:00pm when i'm practice drum with teacher at 5:30pm

  • I love this new series. The jokes are funny, the monsters are creepy, and the plot is advanced. The best show on CN right now :)

  • @MrCollectooner that and the upcoming show sym-bionic titan

  • i like the theme, it has a spooky tone with it

  • cool loookin but the theme is not that memorable

  • i love scooby doo

  • i honesty love this series to death! i always hated how they took away the orignial series. Then made stupid scooby doos like... pup named, and whats new. I was so mad. But they brought their old outfits back, they made it more funny. And these episodes sometimes give me creeps. <3 Scooby!

  • The new Velma gets on my nerves. I prefer the original that didnt bugg shaggy

  • @Hakkun9872

All the Characters have had last names.

    Fred Jones

    Daphne Blake

    Velma Dinkly

    Norville (Shaggy) Rogers

    Scoobert (Scooby) Doo

  • Woah, you know a lot bout Scooby Doo! Are u sure Scooby's first name is "Scoobert"? Cause I think I only heard him called that once or twice in some movie special with Scooby's parents. Or maybe it was in "A Pup Named Scooby Doo"? I can't remember.

  • @Hakkun9872

I have the official poster from the WB Store and it says his real name is Scoobert and that his nicknames are Scooby, Scoobster, Scoob, and Scooby-Dooby-Doo!

  • @Hakkun9872 Since 1970. His last name has always been Rogers, but Shaggy is now a nickname, his "new" real name is Norville ;)

  • @Hakkun9872 Since "A Pup Named Scooby Doo". I think that show was from the late 80s or very early nineties, so around then. Back then it was "Rogers" as well.

  • I love this show

  • scooby doo new intor great

  • TRAPS TRAPS TRAPS TRAPS

  • @ghostcakes HA HA FRED

  • This new series looks Awesome!!!!
