  • it's called DISCIPLINE

  • Wetty,

Class II's have the same powers as full time officers and not all of them are on the beach or boardwalk. Many supplement the Full Timers and are in the squad in cars. Many departments can not afford to higher new or more people so many of these Class II Officers are forced to do seasonal until more jobs open up.

Yes some of these officers are indeed "special" but the majority are just officers.

However, I am sure you think they are a mess because you have had problems with Law Enforcement

  • Its actually the graduation of a Special II Law Enforcement class. The marching you see in the video is a tribute to the hard work and discipline these officers learned and grew from in the academy. They may never "march" to a call, but the conditioning they learned in this para-military environment will have prepared them for the unknowns of the job that no academy can fully prepare you for.

  • Nicely said. You should become a cop

  • Have you ever seen a marine, someone in the coast guard, army, or any other armed forces march into battle? No.

    Think before you speak.

  • Glad the BEACH COPS are prepared for there BoardWalk Duty!

    Specials are a MESS!
