Savage on her? Attacking her? This is all too reminiscent of Bush's push for war, when he told American's questioning the decision, "Either you are with us or you are with the terrorists." Now we have Palin, and the McCain camp portraying that ANY questioning of her experience, her political record, any questions about her period are "sexist"-"picking on her"- "attacking her". PLEASE! These are standard questions. If Palin were a man, this wouldn't be said. It was a way to quiet the press.

Buchannan is an old-timer, well used to the system, and anything BUT stupid. Where did you get the idea its the duty of the press to scrutinize candidates? This is a popular thought by the hard Left. The 'press' may editorialize, but their prime job is to report news ethically. And they should never editorialize and sell it as news. The MSM has been doing that since the 60's. The MSM never heard of Sarah Palin until she was announced candidate for VP. The press were focused on their candidate, and looked like fools when they were caught flat-footed. Sarah has been known as a rising star for about two years within the conservative movement, that doesn't incude the press. They think McCain met her only the day before--another stupid error. They met over a year ago and McCain liked her then. I am no McCain fan, but picking Sarah as VP has been his one brilliant move.

Of course Olberman has been kissing Obama's butt! Just like the broads on "The View". I do believe however, that McCain's only chance to win this election was to pick Palin. None of the other Republican Candidates would have made a major difference. There is no doubt that many members of the media have blasted Barack Obama. But, MSNBC has been so biased in its coverage. If it hadn't been, Olbermann & Matthews would still be doing the main work. David Gregory is now the main anchor of this race.

Its obvious MSNBC is all for BHO. I don't know of any media that has 'blasted' Obama, except AM talk radio, and even then they are rightly critical. ALL other media is solidly backing him, even campaigning for him--its disgraceful and disgusting. The Media overall is unable to be neutral! Where's the objectivity? Why does no one in America demand objectivity from the Media? Why is their credibility not questioned? I can easily tolerate editorial, but can't tolereate editorial sold as 'news'.

If Sarah Palin is a vice presidential candidate, she should have the mettle to handle a news conference. then she should be strong enough to handle an unscripted event. We do not hear of her attempting to clarify her own positions, to set forth her own ideas, to hold her own press conferences. She smiles, she stays on script, and she stays behind closed doors.

Obama avoided O'reilly like the plague until the polls showed him losing, so he agreed to be interviewed out of necessity. Sarah doesn't need Olbermann--who does? She will be interviewed plenty before we vote. She would be foolish to offer herself to such a committed enemy. His hate has started harming him, to my great satisfaction.

I presume nothing. Obama needed to face O'reilly to try to revive his numbers. Simple as that. O'reilly is famous for doing a tough but fair interview, much like Tim Russert, but with a neutral point of view. (Tim was hard Left)
If she can't back up her statements, why does Hillary avoid being seen with her? Why would Hillary--the 'smartest woman in the world'--avoid Sarah? There's no way she could risk it. There's a case of Dems putting partisan politics ahead of world-crisis issues.
