It is the same Torah and Gospel that existed in the time of Mhmd. These are the scriptures we must judge by and hold fast to according to what is written in Quran 5:46,47,66,68).

That son is Jesus Christ who became a man by being born through the action of the Holy Spirit in the womb of the virgin Mary. God has spiritual sons. These are the Israelites and Christians who are are born again by the water and the Spirit as sons of God. In the Jewish scriptures, the Israelites are called sons of God. Judaism was only the term used for people who believed in Allah and followed the prophet Moses and there was a city called JUDA so with time people assumed that the religion of the tribe of juda was JUDA ism. There is more reason to believe this than to believe that someone else was killed in Jesus' place by mistake. Why would God fool Mary and Jesus' disciples into believeing Jesus died on the cross? Surely, If Jesus escaped from being killed, they would have spoken about it, and it would be recorded in the Gospel.

@Gizellita The Psalm which you quote does say that God never slumbers nor sleeps. This is speaking of the glorified God and does not refer to Jesus before His glorification with the Father. The Psalms are from the Jewish scriptures and therefore do not reveal the mystery of the incarnation of God, which the Gospels do. You must study the Gospels to understand the Psalms and other Jewish scriptures. Both scriptures are from God and can only be understood in a Christian context..

There is more reason to believe this than to believe that someone else was killed in Jesus' place by mistake. Why would God fool Mary and Jesus' disciples into believeing Jesus died on the cross? Surely, If Jesus escaped from being killed, they would have spoken about it, and it would be recorded in the Gospel.

@Gizellita The Psalm which you quote does say that God never slumbers nor sleeps. This is speaking of the glorified God and does not refer to Jesus before His glorification with the Father. The Psalms are from the Jewish scriptures and therefore do not reveal the mystery of the incarnation of God, which the Gospels do. You must study the Gospels to understand the Psalms and other Jewish scriptures. Both scriptures are from God and can only be understood in a Christian context..

The Israelites are the chosen prophets of God who are to be a light unto the gentiles. The sons of Ishmael were not blessed with the prophethood of Abraham but only Isaac and his sons. Ishmael was not the son promised by God but he was born through the sin and unbelief of Sarah, Abraham and Hagar. Ishmael did not inherit the prophethood of Abraham but only Isaac. Therefore no prophet will come from Ishmael but only from Isaac. Muhammed was an Ishmaelite and not an Israelite, therefore he cannot be a prophet of God.

@christianjihadi God promised to regather Israel only when HE RETURNS! As difficult as it is for some people to accept, the nation of Israel today was not placed there by God. Certainly, God in His permissive and sovereign will allowed it, but the restoration of Israel to their Promised Land won't happen until Jesus returns after the 7-year Tribulation Period.

In reality, the Torah that existed in the time of Jesus and the time of Muhammed is the same Torah that exists in modern day Jewish and Christian Bibles. There has been no corruption of the message. Muahmmed believed Jews and Christians have the original Torah. He tells Jews to study the Torah (Q 3:93) and Christians to judge by the Torah and Gospel (Q 5:46,47).

@Gizellita The Bible never refers to Ishmael as a prophet of God. Ishmael did not keep the commandment of God given to Abraham. He became an unbeliever and so did his descendants. The Ishmaelites were unbelievers and enemies of the Israelites, the true children of Abraham.
