i think its better to buy very good silencers and so on and then buy a good drumkit for 4000-5000$.. the electronic sound cant replace the real sound :)
It's durable and can withstand a lot of playing. To me some of the best features is the ability to create a custom set and pick the shells, heads, cymbals, mikes and a lot more. You are able to fine tune that set to exactly what you want in a short time. It's like having access to hundreds of set.
It's worthy every penny, but shop around. I paid 5700 for mine. I've had people tell me they've paid 5400, but that's never been verfied.
hey i have the td-6 set and don't know how tight to tune the heads of the snare and toms would i be able to use a timpanic pressure tuner or should i just tune by how tight the heads feel thanks
I play a lot of rudiments, so I tension my snare head based on stick rebound. So for the most part, I go by the feel of the head when pressing down with my thumb and how the stick bounce feels when playing a couple of rudiments from slow to fast. I just go by thumb pressure on the rest of the heads. It should take moderate pressure, but not too much to dip the head in a bit with your thumb is what is good for me. Hope this is helpful!

cool solo. Ive seen so many videos labeled as solos but all they are doing is beats with some fills thrown in. this is a true solo. :O)
