  • that pilot was a retard.

  • oops.

  • Has anybody looked to see if this pilot flew for K.I.Sawer afb? if you haveplease email me so superheat11@yahoo Ive got pics of this guy doing touch and goes at Carswell AFB in i think in 88 he did about 8 and was heading to the north over the lake hed stay about 50 ft up and throw that plane almost directly on its side, the tower warned him once about his altitude over the lake, and i heard later from someone that the base commander wanted to have a little talk with him after he landed.

  • i think you are sadly mistaken.it was under reagan. clinton vetoed the balanced budget amendment several times.only when public opinion went in favor off republicans did clinton sign the bill.

  • filmed with a dildo

  • The pilot was due to be promoted, but his commander found him unfit so he was benched for another captain he did not agreed so he wanted to take the tower out with him and the crew. AF gossip don't kill the messenger.

  • bud holland was a faggot who's ego got him and 3 others killed. I blame the higher command for not grounding him

  • @MrJimboner22 how do you know he was gay, and what bearing does it have here? And why use that term in any event, are you 12 years old?

  • @7bobcat23 nah just a few brouses

  • страшно

  • Holy mother of God!!! Well whoever was in that plane is definitely dead

  • one less idiot in the world

  • in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general WELFARE.... Yup - your point???

  • @BlameRepublicans - Are you seriously stating that welfare is acceptable because the word welfare (different meaning and context in the 1780s) appears in the preamble of the Constitution?

Anyways, the main reason for the crash is that planes can't fly sideways without loosing altitude. Not enough lift to fight the force of gravity. That manuever would have been fine 10,000 feet above the ground.

  • So "Arms" means only black powder muzzel loaders then, right? Times change, and we must adapt to the changes we go through. Ignoring the results of unfettered capitalism is not in the best interests of the nation. The “welfare” of the people is part of it. Sorry.

This clown (who wasted my tax dollars by hot dogging our plane into the ground) was a world class douche bag who was a disgrace to the uniform.

  • @BlameRepublicans - General welfare is in the preamble and has no legal basis. Bearing arms ( = to what the gov had) is a right. The founding fathers never had in mind "Let's support a bunch of dead beats". They never cared about the interest of the nation as a whole. They cared about the individual.

I agree with your second statement though I doubt you pay taxes. Idealism like that can only be pushed by a student who has parents supporting them. AKA no job and no taxes to pay.

  • Your Fox News distorted idea of what you think welfare is has no bearing on the will of the founding fathers. You can't just arbitrarily decide to alter the will of the founding fathers. You are also all wrong about my tax status. I’m a veteran of the US Army who earned a college degree and probably pay more in taxes than you make yearly. My advice – turn off “The O'Reilly Factor”, read the Constitution, and find a better job than swinging a mop at Wal-Mart.

  • @BlameRepublicans seems to me democrats have been running the country into the gtound liberal democrats i should say.but being mental morons try to blame everyone else for their incompetence. they act like little kids.

  • Key phrase you used here is "seems". It may well "seem" to you that the Democrats are to blame, but the reality is we had the largest peace time economic boom in our entire history under President Clinton. Bush, asleep at the wheel - allowed 9-11 to happen and then lied to us all about WMDs in Iraq to launch his filthy stupid, needless war which (along with his welfare-for-the-wealthy tax cuts) destroyed our economy. Now mugs like you try to blame Obama for the GOP Depression.

  • @BlameRepublicans Are you kidding me Clinton had more than one chance to kill BinLaden long before 9-11 but was to busy worried about getting blowed in the Oval office instead of running the Country and Obama is a joke of a President he hasnt gotten anything done except busing every black college kid in the country to the poll to make sure he won the election.

  • Blah, blah, blah, cry more tea-bagger. LOL. Go tell your lies somewhere else. No one here wants to hear you anymore.

  • That pilot was a douchebag with a long, noted history of breaking almost every aviation law the USAF had a rule for. How or why he got to fly again at this airshow is beyond me. Sadly he had to take the lives of 3 other innocents along with his own. The USAF should be royally ashamed of themselves for letting this butthole pilot that jet.

  • @03focussvt943 The USAF wasn't going to let him fly, that's why my commanding officer and the wing commander were on that flight with him. They were evaluating the complaints against him to pull his wings. I think you should have a clue before you pass judgement on the USAF.

  • @HonorRose11 After the first violation and/or complaint he should have been grounded. I dont care if it took a year for his butt to be dragged into a court martial, he should NOT have been allowed back in the air until having been fully reviewed and/or examined. Complete incompetence is what got those poor people killed. Do you disagree, sir??

  • @03focussvt943 I don't imagine we'd have very many pilot's flying with your form of regulation. It's easy to look at a list of "complaints" compiled after the fact and think that someone is just being dense. However, many of those people rarely spoke to each other or associated. The very minute Col McGeehan heard about the concern, he disallowed anyone else to fly with him until he evaluated the issue. That was the flight he died in.

  • @03focussvt943 Because he had friends in high places who looked the other way and let him get away with murder. Well he didn't get away with the three murders he committed on his final flight.

  • 9/11 reenactment FAIL

  • @MilanKingz comment fail....

  • Not the best way to impress our allies or intimidate our enemies.

  • @40390576 Because if crew was black there is no loss in human lives!

  • Awfully sad...

  • I've got to do a CRM analysis on this idiot.

  • @Corncrops Did you get much drool on you while you typed up your little message? Any bile on your shirt? Did it take long to wipe up the foam from your mouth?

    Just Wondering.....

  • @Corncrops not ecause im racist but because they have a higher pain tolerance

  • @Corncrops "Corn crops",... nuff said.

  • In the NAVY we had a simple call out. EGO GETS YOU AND YOUR TEAM KILLED. Anyone with a hot shot ego that did not follow the mission once or endangered anyone in the TEAM was transfered out of the Unit.

  • Look up 1994_Fairchild_Air_Force_Base_B-52_crash on wikipedia

  • I work with a guy who flew with this pilot that died in this crash. Its true he was a hot dog, I was in the air force then, and I remember after it happened, I was stationed at Rhein Main AB in Germany, we got the news this happened, and it was a shock. I still shudder watching this video.. Anyway, the Air Force times, which is a publication alot like a newspaper, only its autonomous to the Air Force, listed this pilots stunts and bad flying. Sad, he took several with him.....

  • why no seat eject?

  • @KGfan7 He tried to pull the ejecter seat but it was too late

  • quick. painless. i don't see what the problem is with going that way.

  • My ? is, who the fuck would bank a plane that big that hard like that, now hes a dead fucken idiot.....!

  • fucking moron did he kill any others

  • @TheHalonerd43 Yea he killed a senior officer who was going to retire soon after and I think that was his last flight. Nobody would go up with him and the senior officer said he could only fly the plane if he had that senior officer on board. He was warned again and again not to do risky stunts. One time he almost crashed showing off at a game his daughter was at. He pulled out just in time. He was a hot dog and killed innocents here. See Czar 52 Crash on wikipedia.

  • Thats what happends when you over bank your plane

  • 0:11

'Hey guys, watch what I can do!'

  • Bud Holland you are the worst pilot who ever lived you effectively committed three murders and a suicide with your countless acts of sheer stupidity. Burn in hell

  • @Railer505 Get over it mate, there are bigger things to worry about in the present.

  • @Railer505 wrong, the criminals are his superiors who let him fly knowing he was not a safe pilot.

  • on he didt EJECT

  • @MrScotini But died.

  • Comment removed

  • what a fucking moron!!!!! how can you expect a B52 to handle like a smaller plane would?!?!?!!!! R.I.P to the air crew but fuck the pilot

  • at the 34th second you can hear the engines it sounds like one of those horror film aircraft crashes!!!

  • That's why I prefer to eat apples

  • Very sad I'm sure they show this to all the training pilots and future hot dogs. He shoulda practiced this at higher altitude. Idiot.

  • @imyourhustler so for my ignorance, but why do you say he should have practiced this maneuver at higher altitude?

  • aww... he broke his plane.

  • aww... he broke his plane.

  • This clown pissed away our tax dollars pretending he was relevant. Our DOD is nothing more than welfare in uniform.

  • Holland was a fighter pilot wannabe and was infamous for pulling crazy stunts in the B-52. He'd wear cowboy boots with his uniform; and if I remember right, one of his good friends was a general who'd cover for him whenever he got into trouble.

  • So much for the in-flight movie.

  • This is a famous case study in the Air Force about failure to lead. As Grinch states below this pilot had a history of rule-breaking and dangerous flying. There is a lot of other film of him doing stupid things. A succession of commanders failed to act well before this happened. As former Air Force flight crew (EC-121s) I have nothing but sympathy for the family and friends of everyone on the crew.

  • No Air Force documentation showing Holland was even flying the plane. McGeehan may have been at the controls but lacked the skill of Holland and stalled the bomber. Noone knows who was flying the plane! Wasn't there a safety officer that was on his last flight? He failed at his job miserably and paid with his life! All 4 crewmembers failed at their jobs that day and bought one massive farm! Brutal impact...nose first...had to be terrifying in the cockpit.

  • @Tampaslice Watch the last seconds prior to the crash, you will actually see the bank angle decrease, then abruptly go back to nearly 90. You also can't see it in this footage, but McGeehan ejected seconds before the crash only to be consumed by the fireball. Personally I think McGeehan grabbed the controls and tried to roll out, and was overpowered by Holland.

  • What kind of an idiot flys a huge airplane like that as if it were a single seat stunt plane? Even if he hadn't of crashed, I would of been speaking to his commanding officer for allowing somebody to fly like that. What a damn idiot...

  • OOOPSIE!!!

  • man he was a great pilot right up to the piont of impack

  • @waterfordjim

    lmao!

  • this was completely preventable

  • so it was pilot error? becuse you can hear the engines in the beginning of the movie stalled down a little.. but in overall terrible accident :(

  • this is why you don`t fuck around on duty. This guy "bud" was known to be a cocky, arrogant hot shot who liked to show off. He even called a member of his crew a pussy because he objected to a dangerous showoff maneuver during a training flight. I`ve seen a few people like that when I was in basic. They think it`s all a joke and they`re tough shit but they kill more of their own soldiers than the enemy

  • I hear you man, I'm in the military myself and the guys who talk tough and like to show off are the ones who end up doing the most damage to the people around them.

  • You can train an incompetent soldier, even put him where he may be effective but a cocky soldier is totally different. They`re dangerous to everyone around them and that may sound kickass...trust me, it`s not. They`re usually the first people to get fragged by their own guys

  • though i would agree for the most part about the pilot. he was training for airshows when this happened. yes he did push it to far and caused the crash but he wasn't just hot dogging around for the hell of it. it was his final flight before leaving the airforce. guess it was his final flight period.

  • Pobres gringos no saben diferensia del bombardero y caza))).

  • What a goddam waste of human life. The dumb son of a bitch should've been grounded long before, by the sounds of it. I hope some heads rolled over this. Again, probably a very political situation leading up to it - the guy was probably a hotdog and a macho-type bully. Who were Holland's superiors?. Jesus wept - this whole thing is so bloody awful.

  • It was doomed a bit before :26. I did a huge assignment on the aerodynamics behind it and it was pretty much doomed when he began to turn towards a 10 knt tailwind and added no power. Then to make it worse he discovered there was a no fly zone and instead of going around it he rolled the plane even more. He was truely a suicidal crazy fucker, but it's weird that no one else would've noticed a stall warning or anything.

  • @fatkat444 there was a no fly zone so close to the base? isn't that odd?

  • At about :26 on the vid, this bird was doomed. A little before this, the situation may have been retrievable with full power to the left side engines and full top (right) rudder. In a larger sense, it may have been retrievable only by grounding this nut some months or years before takeoff....

  • did all ppl in the plane die ? :(

  • Nobody survived plus this occured infront of the pilots' families. It was caused by human error, the main pilot wasknown to take unreasonable risks, as mentioned before he was a time-bomb. The copilot was onboard to try to restrain him. According to the available documentation the pilot (cause of the accident) and the copilot did not bear each other.

  • thats horrible :'(

  • Yep - the copilot was a senior pilot who chose to fly because he was not prepared to order any of his pilots to. A bunch of senior people on that flight.

  • @ckafmc

    yes

  • This guy is an idiot for a pilot if I ever heard of one. Do your research, this guy was a time bomb.

  • you're right

  • gravity won on this one

  • i'm sorry, but you gotta be a fuckin' idiot to do something like that.

that kinda sums it up, maybe

  • u mess w the bull u get the horns!

  • I saw a video special in this crash. The pilot was a fucking moron, all crew were scared to fly with him bc he was a pompous fuck. Too bad he killed the others, he needed to go though.

  • Man first it looks like they are safe then it heads down a bit and hits the power poles and BAM!!! Sad story.

  • crazy looking plane wit too many engines

  • 4 people died and u cant eject from a plane like that

  • how many people died? Why didnt the crew eject or drop out(downward ejection)?

  • 4 people died in this. I was stationed at Fairchild at the time. Col. Holland had been practicing for the air show all week and had been hot dogging all week. There were a few of us working maintenance on flight line equipment that wouldn't go out there while he was flying.

  • I heard about this. He was supposed to be a real cowboy that NOBODY wanted to fly with. I'm not a pilot, but from what little I do know it looks like he banked way to close to the ground and of course lost altitude.

  • the crux is, the sharper the bank the less surface area there is in relation to create lift, and thats why he has fallen out of the sky, neither did he have his throttles high (as you can see from the moderatly slow fly past at the start), as a result he did not have time to power up to recover (b52 engines take 8 seconds to react)or enough thrust to pull him through such a sharp turn with so little lift (remember more thrust = more air over wings = more lift) stupid twat i say !!!

  • Only 4 people on the plane.

Although McGeehan attempted to eject, the ejection sequence was interrupted by the crash before he could clear the aircraft.

  • err how is it possible for anyone too survive flames like that honestly?

how many people are you claiming that survived

  • he said there were four people on board. nobody is claiming anyone survived. learn english

  • does anyone read the article in the link??? it was part of a practice airshow... But it was still a silly thing to do, and it cost lives.

  • That guy was a hotdog and dangerous to boot. Other crews would say they wouldn't go with him on one of his "suicide flights". Other personnel on the ground at the base would leave when this nut decided to do his stunts. You can read about this on Wikipedia. He had numerous reprimands and a history of dangerous activity in the bomber. However he was never grounded or disciplined. I would have never gone up with that nut. Sorry for the guys who died with this fool.

  • Negative, the pilot was a show off with a history of breaking the rules. This would be his last stupid stunt, unfortunately he took his crew with him. Also onboard was a senior officer who was set to retire, his family watched this happen from the ground.

  • people died

  • One of the pilots that died in the crash....that was his "champange" flight-his last one before he retried from the Air Force.

texasfathead-Col. Holland was at fault for that precisely for the reason you said.

He pushed that bomber BEYOND its limits and had done so repeatedly but no one in that command ever grounded him even though they knew he was a flight risk.

  • Actually, you're in correct. The pilot, Lt Col Holland was practicing for an Air Show and was hot dog-ing it. He routinely exceeded the tech data for for the B-52. We study this flying accident in the Air Force as an example of what happens when leadership fails to act and take accountability when they knew he was a dangerous pilot who often violated flight rules.

  • @texasfathead How does not having situational awareness of where one is make it not the pilots fault?

  • So sad, sometimes people with a latent death wish will take many chances, before achieving their real desire....to leave this world.

  • Wiki "Czar 52." The pilot was a nut case with a death wish and he killed three other air men with his stunts.

  • No, none of those on board survived this crash. I think that there were three people, total on board. At the controls was Arthur 'Bud' Holland, under internal USAF investigation for dangerous flying and scaring trainee pilots he was intstructing. Many refused to fly with him; they new it would all end in tears eventually.

  • no, they did not

  • you aint gonna live throught that, Did the crew escape?

  • Oh the humanity.
