  • Laurie, where did you get the 2-26 in Oz?

I've tried SuperCheap and Bunnings but to no avail. Any ideas?

    Thanks, Gordon.

  • Gordon, I got my CRC 2-26 from a pump and irrigation shop in Nambour Qld. Places that do electrical and mechanical sell it here in Oz. Also try automotive parts shops.

  • I've been using CRC 2-26 for years.

Wet and Dry sand paper I suspect leaves fine silica grit behind which could cause electrical arcing and track rubbers bits of rubber which could get into mechs.

  • Excellent video.

  • Rails must have feeder wires to each rail - DO NOT solder wires onto rail joiners or use them to carry electrical power from rail to rail as this can cause carbon build-up.

I treat rail joiners as if they are plastic. Many with poor rail wiring may find problems. CRC 2-26 is available at Radio Shack.

  • Great information! I wonder if that CRC is sold in the states? I will have to check.

  • @aocruiser

Yes it is, I bought it at Home Depot, and it works well ! Good tip, thanks
