I like the scene where Dr. Challis is attempting to convince his wife that harm will come unless they destroy the masks. I believe Cochran knew full well about the ignorance of people (like Dr. Challis's wife), whom would not believe the words of the Cassandra. That magnificent bastard!

@SaManTaCloe John Carpenter proposed the idea that subsequent Halloween sequels (after part 2) should be stand-alone stories set during Halloween since michael meyers was killed off for good in part 2. it was a good idea and this is a decent film, but unfortunately people are basically too stupid for such a simple concept.

@TheVideoCat, Not really. Films get re-titled or are known for other names all the time. Example: The original title for the original "HALLOWEEN" was, "The Babysitter Murders". Not that they went with it. I have better other examples of films being released by different names, but they're not coming to me right now.

How about "Halloween III: Masks of Death"? Or "H III: Tricked and Cheated" (get it?) Or "H III: Season of the Serpents" (get it?) Okay, I'll leave you alone now.
