This is probably a stupid question but id like to buy a Z4, i found one within my price range, its a 2.0 sport but im only 17 and passed like last week so the insurance people want 4 and a half grand for insurance, is there any way it could shrink to 2 grand? any ideas?
you should call around....but chances are you won't find much difference....If I were you I'd just wait cause when I first got my license I hit a lot of stuff lol (99 Ford Taurus), and trust me....you will hit stuff. I'm 24 now and have almost any car I want and next year my insurance will go WAAYY down.
im haveing the same problem, so far the only answer i could fine is to just wait a year or two, i know it seems long but think about it your insurance would drop like hell and so will the cars price and considering that your comment was posted 9 months ago lol, you only have to wait one more year unless your 18 by now
I can tell u that it definitely is a M!And it is called the M roadster like delabuenavida said. Some people remove the batches so that we can have fun guessing!;)
I was thinking the M badge was removed- an option on the custom list wen buying any BMW. I checked the 3.0Z4 u mentioned, they definitely only came with 2 exhausts, &the only car up from the 3.0 is the 3.2M, thats why I think this is the M version -- as it has 4 exhausts. Hav a look at autotrader . co . uk (without spaces) &search for a 3.0Z4, all of them, even the old ones, hav2 exhausts. Let me kno ur thoughts?Cheers 4the discussion dude, good to meet a petrolhead that doesnt launch in2 abuse!
Yes you are right about manythings my friend, you do have the option of removing the M batches but what car inthusiast would. from the "cheers & petrolhead" so I asume ur British. well In that uk web. u gave me the 3.2M is just the Z4M, Here in the U.S. its actually not called the Z4M, its just called The M roadster. when u buy it 3.2 is the engine size u know. different names Same thing. but whatever the car could be could not be the Z4M

Are those the '19s from the new M3 (the optional ones)?
YellowBull 3 years ago
19" is possible, don't know the exact size. But they're from the old model M3 (E46)

As long as we all can agree the Z4 M Cupe is not the most good lookin car but still a good car. the roadster is a car for Richard Hammond hehe
delabuenavida 4 years ago
Yeah so, it has the braking disks with M on it, also the interiour and bumperkits are M-style...

Not A Z4 M......theres no ///M badges in the back or the sides
delabuenavida 4 years ago
It looks like a Z4-M to me:
(1) It has 4 exhausts; thats exclusive to the Z4-M
(2) It has the stock M-alloys
(3) You can just make out M badges (i think - but it could just be an engine vent) at 27 seconds. Pause it and have a look....?
(4) I dont think the 2.0 etc would make that deeper noise out in the open.
