  • Still reliving this concert.....best of my life!

  • I was there ! It was FANtastic !!!

  • It has nothing to do with America or not, it has to do with U2's audience. The crowd for a metal or punk concert in America is easily as good as one in South America. U2 is more laid back musically and so is the audience. What do you want us to do, scream and jump through All I Want Is You? It's all about the situation. I can assure you, for Sunday Bloody Sunday, Where The Streets Have No Name and several other songs the audience was quite intense, we just have restraint on the quieter ones.

  • Whoa whoa whoa!!!

When did the band start donning flashy light suits for CoBL?

    LOVE THIS BAND!

  • achtung baby = Bullet to the blue sky or the fly in live??? :p

  • Maybe it's cause our people can't demonstrate that we can be civil!

  • I was there last night! I am still hearing this and other songs today! I love U2!! I am really glad I got to see them with 80,000+ last night! One of the best nights of my life. i can fie happy knowing I have seen my all time favorite band live!

    Thank you for this video!!

  • You must have been standing right next to me. I was right at the outer stage next to the leg of the canopy. I've seen hundreds of shows in the last 36 years and this was the best concert I've ever seen.

  • Look at the people: they are so... calm!

In the Estadio Azteca (Mexico) everybody was screaming their lungs out; jumping like crazy, waving hands or waving flags; singing every verse of the songs. By the end of it, you either feel you're gonna pass out, or have a heart attack --kind of like a post-orgasmic vibe :P

Maybe it's because we wait so many years to see our music idols, we appreciate it more :)

  • @RedPillJunkie - I believe that's exactly what it is. They play dozens of concerts in the US every tour so the audience is different from what you're familiar with in Mexico.

  • @RedPillJunkie I agree with you as well, but rest assured there are plenty of raving mad lunatic fans in the States who go absolutely insane just when hearing them on the radio(like me)...don't even get me started on concerts. I've been to one (vertigo tour), and it was the single best experience of my life.

  • @RedPillJunkie We weren't "calm" we just relaxed and felt the music. There were some of us jumping around the whole show though. Has nothing to do who screams the loudest. Sometimes the best things in life can't been seen or heard, but felt. Regardless of the best fans, no single area can say that. We are ALL fans of the greatest rock band of all time. I am glad we all got to experience this and every U2 show!!

  • @RedPillJunkie I know you didn't mean any harm by this comment either. I am glad you got to see them live as well! I did almost have a heart attack when "Where The Streets Have No Name" came on. I share your experience and love!

Any fan of U2s is a friend of mine!

  • Thanks for the vid! I was right up on the stage for this song!

Zooropa was the highlight of the night for me!

  • Thanks for this great video!

  • @Useforce7980. Because Zooropa and Pop were experimental. No Line is good, but All That You Can't Leave Behind and Bomb are way too safe. Zooropa, Lemon, Mofo, Last Night On Earth, Gone, Please etc have nothing to do with crap like Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber. U2 is my favourite band, but I want them to be original, risky, experimental. Anything on All That You Can't Leave Behind or Bomb is more (middle of the road) pop than anything from Pop.

  • I'm seeing U2 in Seattle in two weeks. I'm wondering, how long was the concert from the time the fray took the stage to the time U2 left the stage?

  • Comment removed

  • @musicrover531 The Fray began at about 7:10 and U2 finished at about 11:00 or maybe 11:15. I didn't look at the clock right away when they finished.

  • @atu2 Thank you. One more thing, how long was the break between the fray and U2?

  • @musicrover531 I was there, and I was waiting for about 30 or 45 min. while they cleared up The Fray stuff. Are you talking about 360?

  • @musicrover531 about 45 minutes or so

  • @musicrover531 1 hour

  • @musicrover531 about half an hour. i went yesterday

  • Bullet to the blue sky or the fly in the setlist ?

  • The public is very daunting, here in Brazil, the stadium shook with excitement and the public here was much higher *--*

  • @mariboni43 It's a very different situation. U2 has played hundreds of shows over the past 30 years.

  • @atu2 I understand that, but I could never get used to seeing them. It would always be an thrilling experience.

  • sound system was incredible

  • What's with that American crowd , have they just come from a funeral ?

If you don't want participate stay at home !!

  • Those jackets are great. Looks like the Pop era. Now play some Pop songs please....

  • @Vlaco84 Why? Zooropa and Pop were hands down their WORST albums. Stick to rock and leave the pop to Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga!

  • Don't like those jackets.. probably a Bono idea
