  • 0:30 where is this film ??

  • Her flexibility is the best!! :D

  • She is sooo flexible!!! Flexy.... but she she has done soo good don't say bad stuff!

  • @issarveta bullshit. Anna Bessonova was a million times better and was always underscored. Kabaeva was the sloppy one who made silly mistakes all the time, and her apparatus handling was definitely not on the world level. Besides, i'm sure everyone got tired of Kabaeva's same facial expression in every routine. Her extreme back flexibility was the only good thing

  • @Shadow0309 my apologies. she was good up until 2001. after that she was always overscored.

  • @Shadow0309 I think she is great! but I love Anna Bessonova!!! They under estemated her!!! ;(

  • Love the music you used.

  • miss her???? is she stoped?

  • a chto s ney. ?

  • Hey Youtubers!

  • what is Viner saying at 0:44??

  • wauuuuuuuuuuu....))))))))))))))))

  • hey u are supposed to do gymnastic starting from 4 or 5 - that's how its done in russia...older - u are not flexible enough and its about training and learning, 12 - is too old

  • I started RG at maybe 8 years old, but I improved a lot when I was 12... Now I can touch my thigh with my head, but when I was 11 I wasn't able to touch even my foot with my head... I've become flexible by training... :) Sure you can't go to the Olympics if you begin late, but you can still improve a lot... :) RG would be an entertainment too, not only a competitive sport... :)

  • Technically,You can go to the Olympics if you start late you just have to work harder

  • !@MinnieLittleStar Argh! I meanyt to give your comment a thumbs up but clicked down by accident - so sorry! I agree gymnastics isn't all about the olympics, and because of that you can have fun with it at any age! :-)

  • You can stil do RG after the age of 10 , it is never to late!

  • @hanasita not flexible enough? i know a greandma who starts training (not rg, but gymnastics) when she was 40. she is so extremly flexible now, like a snake. it doesn`t care how old you are, if you are able to stand the pain and you take time to work with your body, you can reach everything you want to. You are not a stone if you are an adult.

  • aah she always smiles! but wen she was young she looked sad and not as pretty

  • Great montage!!!!!

  • Kabaeva moving and smiling like an angel - unbeatable

  • whats the name of the song playing in the background?

  • It's "Weather Storm", by Craig Armstrong... ^^

  • wow that is awesome!

    love the song too!!!!

  • how old was she when she retired???

  • She was 24.

  • Was she are you sure? I have read that she retired when she was 20?

  • She retired for the first time in 2004, when she was 21 (she was born in 1983), but she returned in 2005... But at the end of 2008 (when she was 25, I wrote wrong previously ^_^), she retired again, this time conclusively. :)

  • I know that she was born in 1983 : p

    Oh thanks,i don't really know that she was yeah,in RG in 2008 : o

    Many things i don't know,thank you :D

  • Why did she retire?

  • She was a little old for rhythmic gymnastics, gymnasts usually retire a her age... :) And she wasn't the same of 2004, in fact she always made mistakes in all the competitions... :)

  • isnt anna bessonova a little older? my dad said he cant put me in RG because i was supposed to start when ii was 6 but im only 12, can i still start at age 12?

  • Yes, sure, you can! :) There are some my friends who started RG at 16, or at 18, too! ^_^

  • you should do RG? wait do you do RG?

  • How are they doing know at age 16 or 18? Is it easy for them? Are they getting really flexible?

  • hey age doesn't matter 3 years ago i didn't even know that rhythmic even existed and now i'm a level 7 rhythmic gymnast at the age of 15, i started at the age of 12

  • How does it go on levels? Is it by age or imporvement? Also how many levels do they have? When can you start competing?

  • What is the name of the song dedicated to her ??

  • The song is named "Alina Kabaeva", by Igra Slov... ^^

  • Thank you so much !!

  • I miss her so much! I can;t belive it! :(

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALINA! <3

  • i agree with u rhythmiclove i luv alina also i always thought she was the best of all the gymnasts... on top of all that pressure she always smiled no matter wut mistakes she made or even how perfect her routine was this is a great montage...

  • k videooo tan preciosoooooo

  • i love alina no matter what any one says about her. she is the most amazing gymnast even in 2004 and onwards. she always had a smille and great presence on the mat. i hate the way people dis her so much. she always has clean routines and every body makes mistake. every single gymnast- you try all that pressure and doing a perfect routine. being a 24 gymnast must be hard on her so of course some of her routines won't be perfect but no one is! ALINA IS the greatest!

    nice video by the way.

  • Unlike what you say in the description she isn't the first who wore a skirt !It has just been authorized since 2001 , but it has nothing to do with her.

  • uh, ya it did! viner was the one who put skirts in RG. and the first to wear them at a competition was irina tchachina, and alina kabaeva!

  • what competition? Because i remeber in early 2001 the bulgarians already were some as well as Evmorphia Dona, and even Anya .

  • yes, but since the maker of putting skirts into RG was Viner, of course she would give her gymnasts those certain leotards first, kabeva and alina at russian nationals that year.

  • ok i see your point ;-)

  • she should've retired in 2006. she just went downhill from there.

  • Why does everyone talk bad about her? Is it because she's marrying that older dude?

  • lovley video! Nice music from her bal routine isn't it?

  • I think she hasnt retired yet. at least last season she was there

  • Unfortunately she is retired... It's arrived the official communication from Irina Viner and Alina isn't in the 2008 Russian Ranking... =(

  • very nice!!!! thank u!!!

GRAZIE MILLE X QST BELLISSIMO MONTAGGIO!!!!

  • Lovely, thank you.
