We can accurately observe only a small portion of our own galaxy, who knows whats in the other billions of galaxies that exist. The chance of there being a star that is bigger is practically 100%, we just can't observe things that far away with any accuracy.

@LuBucifer Well first of all VV Cephei A is a star, not a planet ;) and there is only one known star that is bigger and its called VY Canis Majoris. Its bigger by about 2%

It has a solar radii of ~1180 while Vega has a solar radii of 2.26-2.78 (The equator is significantly larger because of the incredible rotation speed which makes it slightly more disk-like. Its actually is at 93% of the rotation speed of which it would be destroyed by centrifugal forces)
