  • At the end, "ULTRAAAAA COMBOOOOOO!"

  • wow.

  • how far is VV Cephia A from Earth? I know the sun is 93,000,000 miles away.

  • @domino817

Light travels in one year roughly 5.87 trillion miles.

VV Cephei A is 2,400 light years away from Earth.

    So 5.87 trillion x 2400 = X miles

  • i may sound like a wimp but the last star im afraid 2 see

  • The best video to demonstrate the size ratios. Impressive.

  • ur anus :D

  • That star is about the size of my left nut

  • I could kick that giant stars ass!!!

  • wheres canis majoris?

  • @codlegofailvideos Its in the comments... several hundred times... about how its not there.

  • the word is wrong of VV Chepi A.The right word is VV Chepei A

  • @syahrulrs Wow, you are the first person to notice that. I'll update that on the new version I'm making. Thanks ;)

  • @syahrulrs You are also wrong because it ios not Chepei ist is Cepei !! (without h)

  • I know that this is stupid but anyone notice when it was showing uranus, on its ring for a sec you could see the word 'anus'

And does anyone know how hot that star must be?!?

  • @XiSlasherziX Yeah, i noticed that as well after I made it :P But my newest version doesn't have the rings. Transparency shadows are hard to get right :| Anway, the star is about 3,400 K

  • Very nice. I just put up something similar, although in a different style and without the dramatic music!

  • This is so dramatic and well done it is actually frightening!!! WELL DONE

  • just imagine that cephei star would be our sun.... youd need lots of sun screen for sure ;)

  • HAND DOWN! The best comparison video I've seen!

Thanks for the taking the time to make it.

  • @qhrconstruction Thanks :D

  • VV Chepei A is not the biggest star.VY Canis Majoris Is the biggest star known.

  • @syahrulrs Never said it was?

  • Wow Uranus is really big.

  • OMG why do i even exist?

  • OMG!!!! WE ARE SO NEEAAAAAAAR!!! xD

Nice vid, what whould happen if being trapped by that star?? :O

  • @comandosespeciales I don't understand your question. Are you saying what would it be like if it was our star? we wouldn't be orbiting the star, we would be engulfed inside it because it's diameter would go past the orbit of Jupiter.

  • @daberko120ch Yeah, it really was a stupid question xD, but imaging being atracted by the gravitatory force of a big asteroid, it would be horrible

Sorry for my english, I'm working on it

  • @comandosespeciales Well, all the asteroids from the asteroid belt would be inside the star also. lol.

  • vy canis majoris is the biggest star

  • @thespartanguy123 Yup, thats been established by about 100 people before you...

  • @lenny27G Canis Majoris is not the biggest star... It's the biggest discovered star... But know only some of the stars in the milky road, there are many others in the universe...

  • @lebergsfjellet Trust me, I know. Explain that to these other people, not me =P The universe is unfathomably vast. We can accurately observe only a small portion of our own galaxy, who knows whats in the other billions of galaxies that exist. The chance of there being a star that is bigger is practically 100%, we just can't observe things that far away with any accuracy.

  • @thespartanguy123

    Biggest known star so far.

  • scary

  • getting a teint the fast way

  • Wow Epic one!^^ VV Cephi A: RAAAHHH!!! Sun and all other Planets: O.o

And iam Courious about: Is there be a more bigger Planet? 3 times or more bigger than Cephai A? O.o

  • @LuBucifer Well first of all VV Cephei A is a star, not a planet ;) and there is only one known star that is bigger and its called VY Canis Majoris. Its bigger by about 2%

  • @lenny27G Nice job on this dude! =P

  • @LuBucifer probably space is very large. We just have not found it.

  • The end is just awesome

  • i disagree with the textures;)

  • @carmilache Interesting you should say that ;) I disagree with them as well, which is actually why I'm in the middle of making a textured, bump-mapped, specularity mapped, Sub-Surface Scattered version for all the planets. I actually uploaded an unlisted one about 10 days ago to test the encoding, so I guess it doesn't hurt for you see it :) Istill need to add the music and do some other tweaks and the new version will be uploaded as a public video soon /watch?v=TlhCWhLhSok

  • @lenny27G niice! keep up the good work and i can't wait to see your finished video:D, as for a music choice .. how about Gustav's Holst planets suite? cheers mate and good luck!:)

  • @carmilache Pointing out semantics, cute.!

  • holy s****

  • Well, its a bit inacurate because VY Canis Majoris is the largest star. Larger than VV Cephai A.

  • @MofoWoW That doesn't make its inaccurate. I never said that it was the largest star, thus it is completely accurate

  • holy cataclysmic mass batman

  • :O

  • final fantasy final summoning! damn you septhiroth!

  • 好好聽的音樂 這音樂是啥???

  • @changmild 即時音樂狂怒釋放 /watch?v=8A11IlBjePI

  • Man, that music scared the shit out of me

  • Whats Vega?

  • @leandrodafontoura A star

  • that was not very nice. but im used to that by now

  • Comment removed

  • 0_o

  • Holyshit i shat my pants

  • o_0... Dear god.

  • 0_o ....

  • Well done! Best one of these I've seen, completely blew my mind!

  • @EmpiricalMonkey Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it :D

  • WOW Cephi is huge hope it doesn't fall. haha

  • canis majoris is bigger

  • @TombRaiderNy Yup, by a mere 2%

  • @lenny27G Yeah, but when you're dealing with sizes this massive a measly 2% is quite a lot.

  • OH MY GOD, it funny how small we are and is funny how big we think we are.lol

  • 1:18 on top of the ring it says "anus"

  • if you look at uranus' ring it says anus XD

  • OMG !!! VV Cephi killed me ! :|

  • I think we need bigger screens

  • @Bardock2020 If you have a 1080p screen and view it in such video quality, you can actually see Vega at the very end of the video in front of VV Cephei A. Its only about a pixel big =)

  • @lenny27G, it was just a joke, a subtle way of saying that these stars are absoulotley ginourmous. Yet the funny thing is, there are still much bigger stars.

  • @Bardock2020 I know, I was just pointing something out as I thought of it :P

  • @lenny27G I just looked with a x160 and x200 microscope. vega takes up over 20 pixles (17inch screen) about 6 pixle rows left to right and 7 up and down rows. heh

  • @RSHA4b4 I follow christianity because of the moral teachings of a single man that is the focus of christianity. Let the church and science debate all they want, I don't really care. I am after the truth as much as anyone who calls themselves men of science. I just try to keep an open mind is all.. Also I never said science and religion are compatible, religion is all about philisophical wisdom after all while science deals with tangible facts. so yes they're not.

  • @RSHA4b4 Then you're problem is with the church and the men and woman that runs the church not on religion. Christianity for example is all about following the teachings of christ and by all means those things are all morally good and that's what I'm trying to follow and guide me.. Unfortunately the church, the men in charge of the church, the culture, the time, etc has warped the good teachings so blame them not the religion.

In short, blame the cook not the cookbook. cheers!

  • @RSHA4b4 nah.. i call it having an open mind. there is so much more to religion than just believing there is a creator. you also said "when all proves the contrary".. such a strong statement for something as young as science. just enjoy the video my friend.

  • This brings the phrase "size matters" to a whole new level.

  • credit to the maker of this video. its insane when the camera swivels, really shows how insignificant we are and "brings you down to earth" if you know what i mean haha

  • @mrhbachbac Thanks, I'm glad you liked it :)

  • Honey badger don't give shit

  • This video scares the living shit out of me. O_O

  • A man I aculally got an adrenaline rush when the camera moved to show VY Canis Majoris. I was like," Okay darn. I know how big and all this star is... Lets see how it is compared to our Solar System." And BAM! It scared me to think that Uranus is smaller than that huge thang.

  • @1roxylinkinparklover Excellent, that's the effect I want it to give :)

  • @lenny27G Yaeah i just posted this on facebook this video is really good and amazing and the music makes it even spookier!

  • this vid is cool and song makes it even better, geat dude!

  • @a23azza Thanks, glad you liked it :)

  • Why don't you have VY Canis Majoris, the biggest star?

  • @MonkeyAttack2 Because when the first version of this was made VY Canis Majoris' size was somewhat disputed. Its only about 2% bigger than VV Cephei A.

  • does anyone else get a slight anxiety attack when watching these types of videos?

    just sayin...

  • @RedGrendel Haha yeah!... You read my mind I was thinking like, HOLY SHIT HOW CAN they all BE SO BIG THAT STAR IS GONNA KICK MY ASS lol

  • I'm scared

  • What is the name of this FABULOUS, GENIOUS, FANTASTIC,AMASING, FENOMENAL, PERFECT MELODY ????

  • @aFemale1 Glad you like it, the song is Fury Unleashed by Immediate Music

  • @lenny27G THIS SONG IS GENIOUS. GENIOUS !!! A 33 year old woman here, from Europe. Peace.

  • @aFemale1 Yes, Immediate Music makes hundreds of equally genius songs, they are amazing and so so epic.

  • @aFemale1 Yes, Immediate Music makes hundreds of equally genius songs, they are amazing and so so epic.

  • This video is now getting close to 1,000 views a day. Thank you all for watching, and I'm glad you enjoy it. =)

  • Wow god really

  • If it went any bigger my brain wouldn't be able to comprehend the size!!!!!!!!!!

  • This one is of the best stars / earth scaling videos on youtube. I love this sort of stuff anyway but due to the massive sizes of these the biggest known stars it's difficult to comprehend. Most videos don't do it justice, but this one does a good job of it. Nice work.

  • Fantastic video

  • My star is bigger than the sun D: my star is vega :)

  • @TheAlicia50

Every person on earth could own hundreds of millions of stars! It's amazing.

  • amazing the first time i saw this i freaked out to know that the sun isn't the biggest star in the whole wide world amazing

  • @pandaloverofchicken

    how old are you?

  • if you keep zooming out, you get CHUCK NORRIS's BALLz

  • Comment removed

  • which star is bigger ... VY Canis Majoris or VV Cephi A ???

  • @KissMeQuk VY Canis Majoris is bigger by about 2%. When the first version of this video was made the size of VY Canis Majoris was somewhat disputed.

  • @lenny27G has there been a star found bigger than canis majoris?

  • @b12ian72 Not that I know of

  • which star is bigger Vega or Betelguese???

  • @KissMeQuk Betelguese is begger by about 500x. It has a solar radii of ~1180 while Vega has a solar radii of 2.26-2.78 (The equator is significantly larger because of the incredible rotation speed which makes it slightly more disk-like. Its actually is at 93% of the rotation speed of which it would be destroyed by centrifugal forces)

  • @KissMeQuk the biggest known so far, is Canis Majoris

  • Much better when muted.

  • @vjvis2 Everyone has different taste in music I suppose =P

  • @lenny27G The music makes it better.

  • music? thank

  • @nadirmultimedia Fury Unleashed by Immediate Music

  • jeez

  • @POWROTTATY

vy canis majoris is 1 billion time larger than our sun, but this one... i think 700millions times, this sun ist a little bit smaler than vy canis majoris.

    watch this video watch?v=mIdA83AKRX8

  • uranus is so big ^_^

  • This last star is how many times our Sun? 10 billions times .... more?!

  • What is the name of the song? It's awesome!

  • AND THE FINAL HUMONGOUS STAR'S NAME IS???

  • @theevilteacher "VV Cephei A". That's what the gigantic text with the multiple arrows was pointing at, at 0:50 ....

  • Shove that up Uranus

  • This made me feel an intense vertigo. Nice job on plans and choice of music hehe.

  • @abigorswhispers Thanks =)

  • Great video keep up the good work.

  • @NewAgeDirector Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. I'll probably make one last version with texture maps and bump maps soon =)

  • OMG that was soooo freakin' cool!

  • @mooseymoo1 Glad you like it :D

  • It's kind of hard to imagine something that big, but when I do... it's hard to imagine how small and complex a cell or an atom is.

  • there must be a lot of pussy more than in the world :D

  • Very nice.

  • At those distances the tidal forces would rip us apart!!!!...............duh

  • fun stuff

  • EARTH WAS JUST A LITTLE DUST AT THERE... O_o

  • OMFG....U MAKE ME SCARED.... ==

  • Imagine the pressure at the core under VY Cephei own weight.

  • Reminds me of income distribution in USA.

  • Is VV Cephei A Bigger Than VV Cephei? Thumbs up if u anwer yes

  • OOOOh , that song gives Emphasis !

  • my last name is vega :D

  • @TheAlicia50 Hah cool, are you a big guy/girl or something?

  • @ajmomoho im a girl and my whole family's name is vega -.-

  • @TheAlicia50 That's a neat last name :)

  • @lenny27G thx lolz

  • Uranus is so big, its like a planet!

  • Holy Sh#t man ....

  • Not to sound rude, as this was a good video, but have you ever heard of VY Canis Majoris?

  • @Jicacat omg, yes. everybody says that. VY Canis Majoris is only about 2% bigger! At the time I made the first version of this, measurements were inaccurate.

  • @lenny27G ohh ok, sorry I didn't mean to upset you. It's very well done in the animation thing.

  • @Jicacat Oh its no problem at all, I wasn't upset ;)

Glad you liked the video :)

  • @lenny27G

    oh, good I'm glad :)

    yes, It is very good!

also thank you for being polite :D

  • How THE heck IS that PoSsIbLe?

  • 3 words O _ O THAT...IS...HUGE!

  • ey hamd edilesi biz sana hamd edilmesi gibi hamd edemedik :(

  • its nice

  • im a deeply religious christian.. im deeply scientific as well.. i don't see a reason to choose one over the other.. having them both all makes sense to me in the grand scale.

if you don't believe in God.. then so be it.. no need to trash talk religious people..

same goes for my fellow christians.. tell them what you believe but don't force it to them.. let them decide.

as for the video.. it's awesome.. but it'll never do justice to just how massive these stars are.. let alone d universe!

  • @uniphobia I agree with you completely. =)

    Glad you enjoyed the video.

  • @uniphobia I threw god out the windows head first.

  • @FishBowl911 Please don't try to aggravate people....

  • @uniphobia I'm sorry but to me it doesn't make sense. Believing that a supreme being create the universe without evidence that is.

  • @uniphobia

The Bible - science are in complete agreement, so to me science is really cool also. Check out my channel. :D

  • dude when the video put vv cephei my jaws dropped!

  • i hate atheists and i hate religious idiots stop ruining science and the fun and imagination. its not about ur shitty argument its about the fun of the fukin science of stars!!!!!!!
