Besides, being a republican isn't pro war. It's not pro life. It's not anti gay. What it really is, small government like the way it was back when the country started. If we don't understand history, we will be just like the country we fought so hard for independence for. People at the state level should have more freedom to choose what they feel is best instead of having a huge Government monopoly over everything. Big government equals very inefficient use of tax payers money.

But there are many others who could greatly represent a smarter Republican party.. Peter Schiff, Jesse Ventura, etc etc.  Restore the republic, Restore the constitution, Campaign for Liberty.

Well Put! This explains the whole problem with the Republican party. And until the people trying to fix the problem of lost popularity in the Republican party, they will continue to waste money and lose elections trying to continue on the same exact path that Bush, McCain, Palin, and many others Republicans have been on. We need a new face to the republican party. Ron Paul was that face.
