  • I just made this exactly as you did and i have to say it is one of the best soups ive ever had....very good

  • Delicious recipe...for a bit of a variation, I added a few sprinkles of fresh ground nutmeg, fresh sprig of rosemary, half clove of minced fresh garlic, a dash of stevia for sweetness....and garnished with cilantro and fresh, diced avocado. I love your recipe...it is awesome both ways...Jae Smith

  • Man, When my mom saw me cutting the pumpkin instead of carving it, she asked me what I was doing. 'I'm going to eat it.' I used your recipe and it was gooood. I only mashed it up a bit, leaving chunks and added some cheese in it. Its the best soup EVER!!!

  • I actually always made my pumpkin soup like this ...but have sauteed the veges for a few mins first before I pop the water in. It sure is an easy recipe and tastes great too!

  • I noticed you said to use any normal pumpkin. I've always been told that smaller pumpkins are more appropriate for cooking because they are richer and more complex in flavour than their larger counterparts. Any input on this?
