Bruce Lee's whole philosophy was that there was no one style that trumped another, but a combination of different styles that made a complete fighter. Realistically speaking, I love boxing, but a boxer would get picked apart by a fighter who could utilize kicks and attack from out of range. A jiu-jitsu grappler would easily toss him on his back and choke him out or take a limb.
