Why do east coast surfers always hop to gain speed? hop hop hop... stop hopping. try S turns, trimming and better wave position for a smoooother looking ride. most east coast surfers make all of us look bad. Best waves i have seen in florida have been west coast waves.

@kailuagirl87 Central Fl. There's a couple of decent spots that are pretty consistent with the right wind. Longboard through much of the summer. Washing machine for much of the winter. But, no. We don't need a hurricane for wave size. It stays pretty decent amidst the occasional flat spell.
