  • Wiked, that interview rocked! Loved it, simply loved it, thanks heaps aye

  • It would be great if they played some of her latest stuff, its just SO beautiful!!

  • Love Shona....But is she being interviewed by a some house frau from the local PTA?

  • Oh man - how we have all changed since the fifth form at Hutt Valley High :)

  • One of her best songs was called "1905" which she wrote and sang when she was about 15, in 1972 if I remember right.

  • To Tarrant1976, yeah, shes the one that performed Glad I'm Not A Kennedy, way back in 1987. She's sure changed since then, no more mullet.

  • Is this the same chick who sang that "Glad I'm not a Kennedy" song back in the late 80's?

  • the drugs didnt do her any favours

  • neither the interviewer......

  • I don`t know what it is about music from Nz but it has always moved me. Love it and I miss it heaps ,thanks for putting this up from an Aussie living in Japan .

  • I agree, its great to see Shona Laing alive

and well on planet earth 2008. As I find my

way around all these searches its sad to come

across another NZ female artist who recently

passed away, Mahinarangi Tocker this past spring at the age of 52, what a sad loss for

NZ. We move through life so fast, time just

flies, Shona is very special to many, her

music is life in all its contratictions,

    timeless stuff and worth sharing.

  • finnaly there is a little bit of shona stuff on the web

  • Good to see you Shona. You look totally unaffected by the whole music circus. Well done.
