One of her best songs was called "1905" which she wrote and sang when she was about 15, in 1972 if I remember right.

To Tarrant1976, yeah, shes the one that performed Glad I'm Not A Kennedy, way back in 1987. She's sure changed since then, no more mullet.

I don`t know what it is about music from Nz but it has always moved me. Love it and I miss it heaps ,thanks for putting this up from an Aussie living in Japan .

and well on planet earth 2008. As I find my
way around all these searches its sad to come
across another NZ female artist who recently
passed away, Mahinarangi Tocker this past spring at the age of 52, what a sad loss for
NZ. We move through life so fast, time just
flies, Shona is very special to many, her
music is life in all its contratictions,
timeless stuff and worth sharing.
