I disagree. Have you never played traffic lights? Take two tokes and on the second you pass and hold it in until the doob returns to you. It at least doubles the effect compared to smoking normally.

Another example is that you can almost completey remove the smoke at your exhale if you hold it in long enough. We discovered this at the back of a school bus on a school outing. Teachers at the front with students at the back doing ninja shotties, holding it in till there was no smoke :)

@337camo After some research I have a mixed conclusion. Absorbtion by the aveoli in the lungs is dependant on the balance between the amount of substance in the breath and that in the aveoli.

The greatest absorbtion occurs at first contact with the breath because the aveoli have 0% wheras the breath holds 100% and so it balances to a 50/50 equilibrium.
