Am I the only person who sees the picture as one of hope? The activated array shows a final success unlike the rubbed out ones around it and the breaking arm shows the reconstruction in getting his real arm back.

@Nioxre this is from fullmetal alchemist brotherhood (the 2009 anime, which follows the manga) in the 2006 fma anime he gets al's body back but not his limbs, in the 2009 one/ manga he does.
