Very sad that all critical US and UK dev seems to be on iPhone and Android when 40% of the world's phones run some sort of Symbian OS. Shear numbers mean these folks are not looking for deep penitration and only interested in the US and UK Markets.
Have you heard if this is going to come to Symbian? I am really interested in this for Symbian. Likely on hold for now until ^4 is out which is not that far after N8 is released. Just wish Nokia would start using Snapdragon Processesors Sooner rather than later and use the SMP Versions.

People are just fucking committed to not being able to read a map or remember where to fucking go, this is obviously technology created by men who don't want to ask for directions. If I ever see someone driving around holding an iphone in front of their face I'm slamming head first into them, guess what? They wont see me coming!
why would somebody carry a map with them everywhere they go? and why stop somewhere and ask some random person for directions when you can just look it up on your phone? sometimes i have to go somewhere in which i dont know how to get to, whats so bad about looking up directions on my phone?
Need this to have a pair of glasses as an acessory which displays the overlay over your entire visual feild, maybe make it translucent adjustable for less distraction, or a quick OFF voice command.
very nice, but a head-up display, or HUD, is a transparent display in cars that presents data without! requiring the user to look away from his or her usual viewpoint
Well, this sucks, i mean, wikitude is a great up, but this one is really nonsense for me, you just have an arrow on the screen and the camera in background, where is the "augmented" part? I mean, there is no interaction at all between overlay and image from the camera, it should undestand where the street is and, dont know, write something on the ground in 3d or color the right path, i dont see this useful at all.
Looks awesome - don't worry about getting the iPhone version out the the same time (they get most apps first anyways), get the Android version out ASAP! lol

Nice but nothing special. Just a navi sw with live camera as background ... Voice Command aren't really new ;-)
But maybe an alternative to TTN?
Or waiting until the instructions are displayed over the windscreen ;-)))
Video: You should use a brodit car holder for your phone ;o)

What about Symbian? Are you also planning to support it after the release of the Android/iPhone version?

this software requires a compass?? It will work only in HTC Magic and iPhone 3GS, which have an internal compass?

That looks REALLY busy and is bound to cause an accident. Why not keep GPS navigation simple and less of a distraction?
