I'm a season ticket holder at Ibrox and I'll be gutted to see Boyd leave in the Summer for Brum, who next Davis? Boogie? Rangers desperately need a quality winger in the Summer and a decent right back as well as holding on to the decent players or God help us in Champions League. Lafferty, Naismith and Thomson are useless. We need a new owner now!

I am devestated he's goin to Brum- OK more dosh but that aside it is a step down going to a ground half the size, no more European football, no more slverware and he will never get anywhere near the same adulation he gets at Ibrox. Christ give the Brummies Kyle Lavatory they can have him for nothing which is practically what is goal ratio has been for us. We will never get another predator like Boyd.

An accurate perception of what Gers will be like without our star men was encapsulated in the Scottish cup replay against the Arabs. God help us next season with the likes of Lafferty and Thompson and Fleck to contend with. Not only do we need our star men to stay,we must sign two class wingers and a strong right back to compete in Champions League.

If Boyd had the chances Mcgeady and Samaras had last Sunday the score would have been very different, but because Scott McDonald is ur only decent striker and he wasn't on earlier uz still couldn't beat us. yet we only had a handful of first team players haha

henrik played 7 seasons in celtic and scored 158 goals in a league that was diffrent from what he was used to back in sweden. Lets not forget that he was sidlined for 8 MONTHS to!
Compare that to boyd who is raised with the style of play the league contains, and let's not forget that he has never been sidlined for a long period of time. And still he has scored only two more goals. You tell me whos the best

Who is the all time top European scorer with a british club in Europe(35) ?
Who scored 15 old firm goals in 30 games?
Who turned a ECL final?
Who scored at world cups, euro championships etc?
Who scored in la liga, the EPL and a European final?
Boyd scores against the poorer teams in the SPL and fails in Europe and against Celtic (1 in 24 career games) No contest I'd say.

@tirnaog09 i dont think anyone is disputing who is the better all round player between boyd and larsson. i think even boyd would admit larsson was a better player than he is. there is no shame in that.
however the fact of the matter is boyd has now scored more spl goals than larsson. that cannot be debated and boyd should be congratulated for it.

Let me say well done to Kris Boyd for hitting 160 SPL goals. He is quite a predator in SPL terms. But his European record is poor and his SPL goal tally is heavily weighted against the poorer teams. I hope he goes to the premiership and we can then judge him in a decent league. The Big Two are giants battering midgets every week. Is boyd a great striker? The Jury is still out , but I'm big enough to say I'd have him in place of Samaras and Fortune any day. Respects and Happy New year to you.

so boyd deserves no credit for being the spl's top goal scorer, well then larsson doesn't deserve any credit either because he scored against the same teams as boyd lmao, larsson looked world class in the spl ill be honest but when he left for barca he proved to be a very small fish in a huge pond, and then continued to look very small in the premiership, the spl made him look better than what he was.
