  • Yes... more biffalo are needed.

  • about 0:24 anyone think he sounds like Craig Mabbitt? :p

  • My fox isn't plays, but HTML5 must be!

  • thumbs up if you are watching this in the html5 player.

  • 1:27 - Chrome closed, Firefox open. :D

  • It's the power of nerds!

  • Death to flash.

  • Typical mac user

  • I go to site, damn, no need flash to view Lee Perry-Smith 3D model, amazing. I think adobe need bomb for their flash

  • HIPSTER ALERT!!!

  • One who walks in another tracks leaves no footprints.

  • Watching this on Flash player

  • I love this thing. F U Adobe Flash Player.

  • still in some low-poly stage, keep up the work. hopefully it can play gta4 in the webby

  • Chrome just crashed trying to load it.

  • R.I.P. Gustavo

  • Amazing work! Well done guys!

  • This was one of the most amazing thing I've seen in a while. Truly amazing experience! Thank you!

  • Can I play this on my Chromebook?

  • Loved the Companion Cube at the End!

Apple has never done something like that :D

  • i liked it

what i liked best is shown at 01:09 and 01:46

  • My browser is not a window manager.

  • I AM CAPABLE OF DOING ANYTHING

    EVEN THE IMPOSSIBLE.AAA

  • 3D in browsers, ok good, why?crappy performance plus the constant grow of bandwith speed makes no problem a good made flash site .Why flash? because flash is for designers for people who make animation and graphics all day, not for a coder. Whats the point of having 10 years old loking graphics in a web browser. Is pathetic enogh that the browsers use so much ram for what, read some articles? Next step u will need a compatible video card for net surfing :D. A dead end from my point off view.

  • "Why flash? because flash is for designers" blablabla, just because you shit in adobe software doesnt make you a "designer" we have enough of "designers" and want actual artists. 10 year old graphics? you really do not know what u are talking about do you? What happens when u make a site in flash? u make a html variant! Why? because not all browser will or do support flash for various reasons so why "need a opengl capable card" is no reason either. Damnit I just responded to a classic troll...

  • @nformby apple fag. Chrome is way better than crappy safari browser.

  • Did it in Firefox... It worked fine just got lower fps. And it was using 1gig of ram XD. Thats fine for me though cause I have 6gb total.

  • This is also pretty cool!

  • thats amazing!

  • Needs more biffalo imo.

  • THIS IS ON THE VERY ABSOLUTELY LIMITS OF TECHNOLOGY!!!!!!!!

  • great...thats the way to WEB 3.D

  • MUSIC PLEASE

  • @XareSoft

They made it. If you want check their website.

  • how much acid did they take to come up with this idea...

  • Great coding Google!

  • Need to have compatibilty with CryEngine 3 for WebGL if you have a good video card.

  • I'm going to be using Safari to view this. Because Google can't be bothered writing a browser that doesn't constantly use my discreet graphics card. [Damn Google Chrome helper, you don't help anything!]

  • @nformby my 8800gts is 5 years old and it's still on par with modern car + cost 40-50 dollar u dont need a super high end ones lol

  • @coolgames14 - What I mean is, I'm using a MacBook and a browser that always uses the discreet AMD graphics chip as opposed to the low-powered Intel 3000 graphics chip. If Chrome can't be bothered making their browser multi video card compatible then I'm not going to be using it.

I had an 8800 GTS up until a couple of months ago when it burnt out (in my gaming computer that is)

  • @nformby still this card is pretty powerful as i told u, it's on par with some modern ones (twice the price) but the only let down is it can get so hot that eventually it kill it self

  • Wow. This is amazing. Flash, you won't be missed.

  • Is HTML 5 out yet? If so can anyone give me a changelog compared to HTML 4? I'd appreciate it. =).

  • @DrSulfurious

nope, html5 is still under development

  • @DrSulfurious sort of yes. it's still being worked out but most of the new tags are here.

  • fantastic job. Congratulations!

  • @MeYouDisgust This stuff choked my quad core.....would that be termed awful too?

  • Huh. Works great for me on my Google Chrome 13! :D

  • Adobe made 16 accounts to dislike this :)

  • @bindia103 nope, but instead they created edge to embrace html, and i wouldn't be surprised if adobe does create a 3d webgl editor

  • @bindia103 lol they changed their mind and added 7 more

  • Death of flash???? oh please. I don't get the hate for Flash, I think most people do even know why they hate Flash they just jump on the "hate flash bandwagon". I've been experimenting with Flash 11 and webgl and I can already tell you Flash far surpasses webgl as far as workflow and developing. Developing in Flash feels more professional since it supports true OOP whereas html5 feels like programming spaghetti AS2 coding

  • @ecsancho

true, but flash is closed source, html5 is open source :)

  • Cool~~

  • Android doesn't have WebGL support yet until beyond ICS 4.0.

  • Just update your Chrome, and'll work fine.......

  • Doesn't work on Opera, Chrome, IE

Not even gonna bother with FireShit

  • 3D Visuals Created With Code.. Music Video I will be able to intersect with... Sounds like Alien Technology. Today on earth when we see any video is really a VIDEO. But if there is another intelligent species on another planet, they might developed technology what make video from real time rendering of visual model.

  • dont work chrome mac

  • I'd love to see the whole video - no?

  • There are very few things born out of an intersection of art and engineering, and this is a brilliant example.

  • How to get over 2500 views per night while you are asleep. Its so easy when you do exactly as I say in this video: /watch?v=uqwhomCAO6o

  • I just downloaded canary and demo'd this music video. wow canary is soooooo damn fast.

  • I've visited the site with Google Chrome Canary and 13 but it says ''We're sorry... you must download Google Chrome because your browser doesn't support WebGL''. #FAIL

  • @McSharkAT Google Chrome 12, sry.

  • check this

    youtube.com/watch?v=0ySRD4VOR5w&feature=related

    1. its 3 years old

    2. its better grafics

    3. much faster rendering

and yes it is totaly rendered in the browser allready

quake live and john carmack solved the 3d webbrowser thingy 3 years ago with much greater performance and quality dont let yourself get bullshitted on by this crappy stuff

  • he looks like JUSTIN BIEBERRR!!

  • @herozsk yes!!!

  • so what the hell happened to java?

    Doesn't java support openGL?

  • flash fucked to death by webGL .....

  • Soooooo, when can we play minecraft on it? :P

  • What music plays in the video?

  • @a707123

Danger Mouse & Daniele Luppi - Black - starring Norah Jones

  • @bandysc Thanks

  • @a707123 - 3 Dreams of Black

  • 0:10 Justin Bieber, after 10 years. :P

  • Ex ungue... overwhelming new technologies.

  • @MrSlapANigger Are you crazy or just a shitty troll?

  • i poop better colors than this. JUST KIDDING THIS IS AWESOME. I kid, I kid, this is silly. no, i like it.

  • That truly is amazing I can't wait to see what else is developed with new web technologies.

  • I don't need anything other to say - HTML5 will eat Flash.

  • @bandysc WebGL is not HTML5

  • @hombacom

"WebGL is a standard for programming in 3D with the browser as platform. (...)

The rendering is done in Canvas, a surface graphics display which is part of HTML 5 and is already implemented by many browsers."

  • @bandysc Its still not html5. And the support is very bad even on new browsers

  • there was 9 Internet Explorer users.... FUCK YOU !!!!

  • @hunter54ad try real browser you IE noob

  • @hackergeist implying i dont use superior master race firefox

  • @hunter54ad umad?

  • webGL has major security flaws yo

  • Macs are the most expensive stylistic paperweights on the planet. If they're so damn functional and amazing, then why isn't the entire world building off of them? Why aren't they the standard? Why aren't world governments using them?

  • Too bad it doesn't work.

  • Which one of these guys is Mr Doob?

  • This is the ugliest clip I've seen in years!

  • Last 5 seconds of the video remind me Avatar.

  • They use macbooks cos they are the typical design guys.. i mean.. just look at them lol.. could u imagine someone like that NOT having a macbook? rofl

  • Nice how I see an iMac's and Macbook Pro's used to create this #justsaying

  • @iMhike They didn't use Apple products to create this, they used code and rendering technologies. It could've been done on any computer, they just chose to use a mac. Big deal.

  • I don't even understand everything in this video but I know its cool as shit!

  • it´s the flash death...

  • @CibCauaC Hopefully, once there are well supported WebGL authoring tools available that make at least 2d animation as easy to do as it in flash, it will be.

That's one piece of software I will absolutely not miss if I never have to deal with it again.

  • @CibCauaC hopefully....

  • @CibCauaC thats bullshit quakelive solved the 3d problem 2 years ago allready with much better grafics now this a real bad grafics quality and the rendering enginge is dare i say programmed by some noobs .. check out carmacks work on 3d in webbrowser and get real this is a bullshit result not even worth competing with flash whats btw a total different department

  • @Dayta Quakelive didnt do or solve anything. Quakelive is only _displayed_ in the browser. However it's a plugin that's basicly just embeding a regular windows executable. That 100% different from displaying grafics in the browser via javascript.

  • @CibCauaC Troll !

  • the main problem with rendering on the fly, is tha you get big black squares when your integrated video processing can't handle it.

  • is available?

  • ya se puede jugar??

  • The only thing to do now is to eliminate that crappy javascript (what is a disgrace to humanity), and replace it with something useful language.

  • WebGL = future of internet games (and IE has to die, even the latest versions)

  • ooh it's pretty, my Intel GMA 3100 really struggles with it though.

  • Cool. Too bad the song sucks.

  • it uses the video card to render graphics........WOW!!!! wait a min.....is it 2011?

  • wait a min......this can't play on my ipad???? aww.......great job steve!

  • @nizamm blame the developers of this u dumbshit not steve lol. when they develop this they have to make sure its compatible with other platforms. but the case here is this was made FOR the chrome browser.. dumbass!

  • @Solja2010 I'm picking on shmeve coz FLASH can pull this off in a snap. Thanks to his 'close mindedness', all the devs are pushed back to caveman tech. Lookup molehill demos.

  • @Solja2010 This could've very well be pulled off in Flash if your buddy steve wasn't so CLOSE MINDED.

  • GEORGES BUSH , YOUR GRAN ' MA AND MR T WANT YOU TO WATCH THE VIDEO CALLED blop75 BEFORE WATCHING THE VIDEO CALLED spacecat 175

  • This lagged my computer up sooooo hard!

  • ★★»Every day a win or a fail «★★

  • When I entered the video they told me I needed Chrome Canary, and I downloaded it, it was much faster than the original chrome :)

  • wow!

  • Magnific

  • I can't past the ultra comb-over guy from 1:25 to 1:37

  • Yay North Kingdom! Greetings from "Interaktion och Design-programmet vid Umeå Universitet"! Go Sweden!

  • Nerds!

  • the rising of javascript

  • WebGL is cool.

  • You know what is funny, it is working in my Firefox fine, but when i try with Chrome, it says i dont have WebGL.. LOL WTF?

  • @Solja2010 Firefox 4.0 does have WebGL support, the basic Chrome doesn't, try using the beta version or Canary build of Chrome.

  • @RedvsBlueGoD @Solja2010 WebGL in the stable version of Chrome, you'll need Windows Vista/7.

  • @Solja2010

Several video cards have been blacklisted and others have issues with drivers. Make sure you have the latest drivers for your graphics card, and update to the latest version of chrome

  • I'm using Chrome but apparently I don't have WebGL :\

  • Very nice work, it's a shame JavaScript is a disgusting language.

  • @bezent1971 go back to the year 1970 with your crappy 1bit ping pong, dick. This is what I called graphics on the web (amazing).

  • What's the music in background?

  • Wooow! Fantastic!!!

  • Chrome > Firefox > IE

  • It looklike s..t Better I will buy a PC

  • My GTX 560 Ti runs it smoothly. WebGL will be awesome for more interactive sites, hope more hardware will support the feature.

  • Please allow Firefox 4 to run that!

  • @mafiulrobin Dude u gotta get me some of that shit ur smoking. Wtf are u on about!?

  • @mafiulrobin fun fact: This Behind the scenes video was made with JIANK which was reverse engineered into WEBGL. None of these people actually exist

JIANK was given to us by the martians to thank us for not landing on their planet.

  • @Dizzi800 : ha ha ha.. bro u hv lots of humor :)

I just wanted to say what are we having today as secondary tech for watching video, might be their primary tech for Alien, and our primary tech might be their secondary. Because if they invent Chrome kind of OS before windows kid of OS, this is what will happen, right?

  • @mafiulrobin What are you on, and where can I get some?

  • Hmm Runescape ;P

  • i love shit like this. the internet rocks

  • html5 is so sexy.
