Nevertheless though, the Empire here is being presented as a successor to the First British Empire under a continued Tudor line, which is kinda crazy to think of, because I don't really think that an England w/o the Glorious Revolution would become a stronger nation-state than the Dutch even if it industrialize. We can speculate then that old Britain here never got into India and East Indies....

Whilst the name "Britannia" has been repeatedly used as a political term since the 18th century, it never was the name of an existing country. What became Great Britain and later with Ireland the United Kingdom were the Kingdoms of England and Scotland ...

there are fact books out there, though from what I heard here's what happened.
The colonies lost the American Revolution (Washington's Rebellion). I don't know if he was bribed, but Ben Franklin supposedly turned traitor in this universe. America remains a British colony. Fast forward to Napolean and the battle of Trafalger, where Napolean wins and invades England. British royals flee to America and form the Holy Empire of Britannia.

because Britannia was what the British Isles was before Romans came, and in the CG universe many battles were different, e.g. Britannia stopped Rome from entering Britannia. Napoleon won Waterloo and attacked Britain, which is part of Euro Universe, and Queen Elizabeth I died in 1862 when the Britannian Calender began.
