Maybe a few Koreans believe Native Americans are Koreans, however in the mainstream Koreans don't tend to believe this. I met few Japanese, Koreans, and Chinese people on youtube who claim native americans are Japanese, Korean, or Chinese. Native American origin is somehow debated but they all agree that Native Americans are Asians.

The tribe is called Kogi, I believe.

And surprising, there are similarities. There is one board game that native americans and Koreans share. Kogi has a sacred mask which is a Korean traditional mask. The two masks are exactly the same.
