I have a B6 08 model, 1.9tdi remapped and can't get 220 never mind 230. Were you going downhill at the time? Or do you need to be flat out for a while?

Well, compared to american cars wit 5.7 liter engines it's fast. Europeans only need a 1.9 liter diesel for that. You probably need as a said a 5.7 liter V8 with (for america) amazing 160hp ;)

i have a "normal" TDI Variant 130PS 6gears, it can go to 220, Red line starts a couple km after 240km/h but only going down :)

keep in mind that real speed for factory version is 201Km/h for Variant and 208km(car).

Ich bin mal mit einem Freund von mir von dresden nach München gefahren. Dafür hatten wir uns einen neuen VW Passat mit 140PS ausgeliehen. Ob es jetzt der 1.9tdi oder der 2.0tdi bin ich mir jetzt nicht sicher! Aber das Auto ist der hammer gewesen! leider war es ab 220km/h abgeregelt! Lag bestimmt daran, dass es noch recht neu und ein Mietfahrzeug ist! aber hamme leistung in deinem video!
