  • hell yah rangers lead the way!

  • WTF? I only saw 2 pics with Scrolls on them. This is more like a leg and cadidiot tribute.

  • Rangers!!! Hoo-Ah

  • At 2:40, if thats a Ranger, shit sure has changed since I got out 6 yrs ago?? This IS NOT all Rangers. Shouldnt be touted as such. Retired MSGT/1/75th

  • @MegaBob77777 that is ROTC definitely not a Ranger

Sua Sponte thank you for your service

  • i dont think anyone will ever understand wat kind of sacrifice these guys make. im a ranger my self. i love wat i do. ive lost a brother and a best friend in this conflict and im getting redeployed in june. everyone in the armed forces knows the risk that goes with it. but thats y we do it

  • ...half these guys arent even army rangers, they are wearing 3rd ID patches. not a bad video, just wrongly labeled.

  • You spelled Tribute wrong.

  • Well, I must agree that the SAS is a great service, but the Spetnaz? Don't believe the COD MW2 Crap. Not in all their days could they do that.... Plus half the Russian military is obsolete...

  • all the videos i've seen so far have said the rangers are one of the best forces thats bull crap the sas and spetsnaz are the best not the gun crazy americans who kill anything.

  • @inky243 we only kill people that call us gun crazy...oh wait >=O

  • @inky243 actually mate, rangers are elite,so as delta, seals, air force para-rescue,all elite, comparable to the brits sas n sbs, french foreign legion n other nato special forces, spetnaz is good doing kung fu moves mate, they shit in afghanistan,1st chechen war,won 2nd chechen war by bribing chechen commanders, another example how shit spetz are is the moscow theater n beslan school hostage crisis were 9 gru or spetz lost there lifes, only nato av elite spec.forces on par wit u.s spec.forces.

  • are you gonna go to boot camp to be a ranger ?

  • @gigan3600 cant go to boot camp to be a ranger. you go for infantry then put in for a slot at Ranger school, which is in of itself a boot camp type enviroment, only about 10-20x harder. dont even have to be infantry to get your ranger tab i dont think. not too sutre bout that.

  • Comment removed

  • @H3cTiCxIceman you don't get sent to ranger school with a ranger contract. You get a chance to go through Ranger assessment and selection program which puts you in Ranger Battalion. Then you get a chance to go to ranger school. get your facts right.

  • nice vid mate

  • look chelsivaughn,, I am a ranger 11b2pb4v with the 3/75th, I knew PT,, and you need to shut your wanna be military talking butt up, you need educated and I will be happy to take you to class, A ranger is still a ranger and pat was just that, and we honor all fallen brothers, secrets on special ops are called OPSEC operation security, After your comments I know you are fake and your arent even aware of what Rangers are all about. RLTW

  • It´s a magnificent video.

Their images summary the sacrifice of these brave heroes that risk and even give their life by the Freedom

90% of the people in this slide show weren't even Rangers. This is leg appreciation bullshit.

  • the dude was killed.

  • What did his death made the news?

  • Comment removed

  • dont talk about your boyfriend online

  • because i said oh so much about him. sit down!

  • I'd shut the fuck up if i was you i knew Pat and he was a awesome person im sure most people with a shit load of money give it all the way to get shot by some peice of shit who didnt follow the rules of engagement.

  • You have to identify ur target first. obviously, whoever was on that bravo 240 was a fucking moron and thought he shouldve shot the fucking gun like the fucking idiot tht he is.

  • and then the army tries to cover it up. yay for them, fuckers. they said that he got shot in the chest while he was prone

  • from a bravo 240 tht was 100 yds away. The gunner shoudlve been able to identify him and if he was prone, then how did he get shot in the chest? I mean, god bless Amerias military theyre the finest fighting force this world

  • will ever see but theyre not the brightest or at least some of them. gotten in the way. He was with a friendly trying to take cover when the gunner unloaded on him for what reason? I dont know. read boots on the ground by dusk, mary wrote it.

  • Obviously who shot him wasn't the only moron. And I don't care if you knew him. Lots of people knew him but do you see anyone else who ahs been killed in Ranger Bat being publisized the way he is being? No you don't, and do you know why? Because he was famous and the rest weren't/aren't so no one cares about those guys who got their heads blows off. So shut your fucking face. And you don't know what happened obviously, seen as how you weren't there.

  • And the government covering it up is funny cause since the begining of the Rangers the men who have died as Rangers have never had their deaths told, Its called Special Opperations for a reason, and in Spec Ops everything is supposed to be kept secret, deployments, locations, missions, captures and yes even deaths.

  • So until you become and Army Ranger or live with a house full of them or see these men on a day to day and learn about their lives first hand then pipe down cause you have no knowledge what so ever on the matter of how they operate or do their jobs..

  • u8r absolutely right i dont know what its like to be a ranger or to be in a shithole in hell. but what i dont appreciate is how ur saying he got in the way, which he didnt. and pat wasnt on a spec op his job wass to secure a small town. and i show the upmost respect for any of americas finest. i praise anyone who would die to keep me free in my country. hell, im joininig the marines. hopefully so im sorry if i was right and ur trying to tell me tht its right for the army to cover up a death

  • that was a fratricide and tht it wasnt even a spec op. and yes he was famous, thts why it was all over the news. im sorry that they cnt show the respect for everyone like they did pat. i really am.

  • Fact: Spec Ops are Rangers. So you obviously don't know what you're talking about. And Its his fault for getting in the way as much as its the fault of the guy who shot him. YOUpersonaly don't know if he was actualy in prone possition or standing now do you? No, no you do not. Based off of stories of guys that were actually there and saw it happen or heard it happen first hand by dudes that were there I believe that he did in fact move when he was not suposed to.

  • And I find his death being publisized as much as it has been is disrespectful to all of the others that have died. People die and no one cares..Unless they're famous for something and thats not right. Can you name any other Ranger that has died in the history of the Rangers besides him? I think not. But I can.

  • @chelsivaughn eyewitness bryan o' neal said pat was prone trying to hide behind a rock when he was shot. and ur right its sad tht he was published so much on the news, and ur right i cnt name anyone else but him buts thats because i knew him.

  • @chelsivaughn

Ok lets get this straight. there is a thing in all the militaries the world over called special forces....these are the highest and hardest units to get into. They are also the smallest units in any army. They are specialised and do all the basic army skills to perfection.

Special operations as America has coined the term, is a mission that does not involve ordinary frontline regular infantry.

    what happens is this:

  • @chelsivaughn

An operation in a foreign country is needed. It is not a big usual massive attack involving tanks and big units of infantry.

Instead it is a once off raid or mission to save people like hostages.

So the special Forces...green berets but more commonly delta and seals go in to get the hostages. These special Forces need back up and a unit of more highly trained regular infantry to guard the area that the operation is being conducted in.

  • @chelsivaughn

these units are usually infantry, who are highly trained but of a lower level than special forces, and their job is to secure the area of operations. To fight any hostiles that are trying to stop the SF doing their job.

These units are put right into the thick of the enemy territory so they have to be higher level than ordinary army infantry - they also can conduct raids and ambushes

this is the rangers - they are highly trained. fit, and disciplined troops

  • @chelsivaughn

More than is normal and are grouped into the umbrella organisation known as SPECIAL OPERATIONS. which groups and collects together all the troops and flyers needed to conduct those types of missions.

they are not as highly trained or as capable as special forces but they are more highly trained than regular infantry or marines.

That is the rangers. Britains paras are trained and have the same fitness as these lads.

Whereas americas paratroopers are a level under the rangers

  • @chelsivaughn

Jesus h christ. This guy did a militarily brilliant move. one that required guts, daring. One that is what the rangers are supposed to be about...showing initiative and aggression in the face of enemy attacks. He moved up onto a ridge to outflank the enemy, to surprise them and attack the fuckers. that is what saves lives when you are ambushed

The other oncoming rangers started firing at him, thinking he was enemy, and they didn't stop when he signalled, over and over again.
