I use glue all the time- tried everything tape and fibre, glue gives the best result. I'm worried about using glue because I once read that using glue too much will make your eyelid droppy and it is true! hence im going for double eyelids via laser. Safe and effective. :)
i personally think that asian eyes are beautiful even though i am not asian... its something that makes them different from the rest of the world and i think this woman looks the same with and without it
i have one single one double eyelid, i used this for my single eyelid. i stopped after a few days because it felt extremely unnatural to have it on only one eye and it was uncomfortable, not to mention it only lasted 4 hours before the glue wore out and the yucky pieces came off

I'm very glad that somebody has found a good SIMPLE method of helping other cultures with cosmetic issues... that take away the better chance of getting surgery done. hmm sometimes its not just to look prettier; its also the fact that double eyelids lift up the eyes a bit, and so helps someone see better. It always helps to do eye makeup on eyelids, which is why some asians do that. Americans do crazy things for beauty as well - heals, plucking eyebrows, tight dresses, little food on their plates, so its not really that different..
this girl have good bone structure and her face is well balance. if he wants a little bit of eye crease, then that is her choice. at least she isn't getting plastic surgeries like so many koreans in united states and s. korea is doing.

Like I don't know. In Malaysia where I live, there are more than 3 nations living here. The main nations are malay, indian and chinese and guess what?! i use to use this when i was in high school..i had single fold, but not double. the double lid would appear if i was tired. After i started using the glue i started forming a crease..it wasn't define, it was slightly there. year after i graduated from high school, i made my double lid more define. Ppl said that, i didnt need it but i wanted it, so i got it. it matter if u feel good about it. My parents has double eyelid but theres didn't get define until their late 20's.

@fudgestixles Yeah, that might be true, but the same goes for any kind of facial feature or anything externally. What fits depends on the individual, but in general I think almost all versions of monolids are beautiful.

the eyelash glue is more harsh that`s why when we apply the eyelash glue we only use a little amount. the double lids glue are more subtle

i reccommend those monolids out there such as myself to put the glue closer to the lashline, then push in, that way your eyes will look bigger

some ppl say asian eyes r nice the way they are and dont reali understand y asians in particular do it. well its just a thing that we find appealing 2 our culture. it attracts people more but its also boosts our confidence that we have pretty eyes and are desired. using this product is exactly like any woman uses eyeliner or mascara. it may seem a bit weird but its a normal gadget/ tool to enhance eyes. by saying you dont really understand why we do it is kind of implying its a weird concept..

well~although ur guys think that asains are more pretty wifout the eye crease, but the asain boys luv it. unless they are going to get a western, wifout they have to do this to attract boys.
secondly, not only western culture have "double eyelid", some asians still have the eye crease since they're born, so it isn't all about to look like a western, although some of them are.......

@happychappy140193 This is way too much of a hassle to compare to eyeliner or eyeshadow, not to mention asians do this AND use eyeliner, eyeshadow, etc. So it's not really a valid argument on your part. It's strange how instead of doing their eyes to enhance their natural eye shape, they have to CHANGE it into something else more attractive because being asian isn't attractive, and asians know that. They're just too proud to admit it..

@Lolztobehad how is too much of a hassle? wearing eyeliner and eyeshadow takes like 10 minutes which takes probably even less when u use the KOJI eyetalk. plus many Asians don't even use eyeshadow. lol we think that being Asian is unattractive? wow u must be really ignorant. what.... you speak for the Asian community do you? well y don't we just let the majority of the Asians put out their views on that idea. :) im not gonna bother too much with your reply seeing as you're pretty stupid haha

According to a website I read, only if you dont remove it properly, it will sag.
Removing it properly means wetting your eyelids and then roll the glue off.

I use glue all the time- tried everything tape and fibre, glue gives the best result. I'm worried about using glue because I once read that using glue too much will make your eyelid droppy and it is true! hence im going for double eyelids via laser. Safe and effective. :)

i have one single one double eyelid, i used this for my single eyelid. i stopped after a few days because it felt extremely unnatural to have it on only one eye and it was uncomfortable, not to mention it only lasted 4 hours before the glue wore out and the yucky pieces came off

That doesn't mean that I don't see the purpose of doing it, or that I see an issue with it. I'm very glad that somebody has found a good SIMPLE method of helping other cultures with cosmetic issues... that take away the better chance of getting surgery done. The more products cultures have on hand like this to fix slight imperfections, the less people will ruin themselves with surgery. :)

but some of my friends only have to wear it for 10 minutes before they go to school and it can stay like that the whole day!

So does that mean your friends will still have to use the glue daily to achieve the same affect. What i'm trying to find out is will it ever become permanent (the double eyelid affect) after a series of uses.

hmm sometimes its not just to look prettier; its also the fact that double eyelids lift up the eyes a bit, and so helps someone see better. It always helps to do eye makeup on eyelids, which is why some asians do that. Americans do crazy things for beauty as well - heals, plucking eyebrows, tight dresses, little food on their plates, so its not really that different..

I agree that Asians look good the way they are, but it's not as if this makes them look un-Asian. Not only is it unattractive to the girl herself, sometimes the eyelid interferes with vision. With all the waxing, plucking, shaving, painting, ironing, curling, and heels we wear, you'd think it wouldn't be so much of a stretch for an American girl to understand. Different, but the same. It's a culturally different beauty item, get over it and stop it with all the pity, these women don't need it.

@starrofalbany The only reason it doesn't make them look "un-asian" is because this type of method can't do that. If it did, then all asians would be doing the method that makes them look "un-asian" rather than the one that only opens their eyes a little.

you are extremely wrong, I am asian but I have bigger eyes and double eyelids but I like single eyelid.I had a classmate in collage and her eyes looks exactly the same as the girl in this video and I love her eyes I even wanted to have single eyelids. change youself no one will stop you just be sure you look natural after you do it cos if it looks unnatural then you will only make them look worse.

SO NOT TRUE! Not all of us asian are single lidded! In my country where I live (in asia), most of the people has double eyelids. Usually japanese and chinese has single eyelid. Others are usually double lidded

Like I don't know. In Malaysia where I live, there are more than 3 nations living here. The main nations are malay, indian and chinese and guess what?! Most chinese are single lidded like only 5% or less aren't, unless they're mixed blood. I'm not being racist or anything but its the truth! You should just accept THE FACT that most chinese are single lidded. Try googling on google images on "chinese". Are we done here?! ITS A FACT YOU SHOULD KNOW BY NOW SINCE YOU'RE CHINESE =)

Gee calm down IcedCupcakes... theres no point yelling!~ Maybe most of the Chinese you have seen in Malay have single eyelid, but I come from China and I would say at least half of the Chinese have double eyelids, some of them have "hidden double eyelid" (meaning double eyelid but its kinda hidden so from far away it looks as if they are single lidded).. but definitely not MOST. k? :)

I think IcedCupcakes' right and I don't think "hidden double eyelid" even exist! Its either single eyelid or double eyelid. If its hidden, then that means its single. I have chinese friends and all of them have single eyelids. I'm not saying single eyelid is a bad thing. Honestly, in my whole 15 years life, I've never seen double lidded chinese. :)

IcedCupcakes, i suggest you go out more and meet more chinese before you draw a conclusion like that next time. Personally i dont think single eyelid is a bad thing, in fact its much easier to do "smoky eyes" with single eyelids compare to double eyelids... I only want to get the right message across b/c you are too bias in saying "most" Chinese are single lidded. It has nothing to do with the fact that I am chinese.

Zameera, hidden double eyelid means you have double eyelid yet when you open your eyes you can see only half of them... its hard to explain but i do have them... they are definitely different to monolids b/c there are two layers! you are definitely subjective if you have "never" seen double lidded chinese.

i use to use this when i was in high school..i had single fold, but not double. the double lid would appear if i was tired. After i started using the glue i started forming a crease..it wasn't define, it was slightly there. year after i graduated from high school, i made my double lid more define. Ppl said that, i didnt need it but i wanted it, so i got it. it matter if u feel good about it. My parents has double eyelid but theres didn't get define until their late 20's.

You can get them on ebay when you type Double Eyelid. Usually, you can't just get the fork by itself; it comes with the glue too. There are also double eyelid tapes!
