They merely translated it to more natural human speech. Who the hell in this day and age says "stop fooling around?" Especially not a pissed off, badass lady's man. "Fuck you" suits him much better, in my opinion, and in all regards, words are sounds you make with your mouth. As far as I'm concerned they mean the exact same thing and have the exact same vulgarity level except some phrases are more/less suited to different people. Neither of these characters would likely be using kiddie language.
