  • You did well. My first fixie ride went about four feet, and then I fell over.

  • wow i just got a fixie and two hours in i could skid and ride backwards he is just awkward

  • Is there really anything different from riding a fixie to a regular bike?

  • @DaddyBigfilms Several differences, the most prominent of which is you do not have the option of coasting. It has no freewheel, so if the wheels are moving, so are your feet.

  • @DaddyBigfilms lol big difference to stop u need to skid or or slow the pedal u.. All about leg muscle

  • lol @ the kid with the unicycle "yo i'm riding this thing and you can't even ride a bike?"

  • Which pixel is the bike?

  • if i had a dollar for every pixel in this video, i'd have 50c

  • You're going to hate the first time you have sex.

  • well that was a waste of time, thanks

  • @batidodevomito it wasnt hoping on a bike fixies are hard to master if you ride them traditionally (no brakes)

  • I don't understand, what was so difficult about hoping on a bike?

  • WHAT A NOOB! lol jk

  • YES UNICYCLE!!!!!

  • He says "go" but someone in your head says "no!"

First time is always difficult. Second time is also difficult because you will forget that pedals don't stop.

But when get used to it, it will be fun.

  • Filmed with a telegram

  • Mmmmm bop

  • How hard is it to ride a fixie? First time I rode on I rode it like a champ.

  • mor like recorded with a calculator

  • co za asy?

  • straddle! straddle!

  • What a fucking dumb ass. Someone teach this fool how to get on a bike first.

  • wow your shitty

  • "its like a unicycle" what the fuck no it is not.

it is the most amazing experience ever, not a clown toy.

  • @afterhoursism Wait, hipsters aren't clowns? NO WAY!

  • @afterhoursism it's because it also has a fixed gear. It's actually a great way to explain what fixed gear means to someone who just doesn't get it. The police in my city say clown bikes and circus bikes when they refer to fixies. You may think unicycles are for clowns but have you checked out the muni? v=1uPznTbus3g

  • @nilo2209 Hah.. Anyone could ride on two wheels.. I wouldn't exclude flat from the list though.

  • you know this jackass doesnt still ride, bitch ass

been riding 3 years and still ride.

fuck all these kids who pick up a fixe, and give it up in a week

  • Comment removed

  • haha fag doesnt even now how to ride a bike

  • he seems real uncordinated riding fixies is not hard the first time at all unless he is mental and its not like a unicycle they only have one wheel your real smart you must be the idiots dad

  • heyy why do dislike?

    everyone has difficulties..

  • retarded ???

  • i like the fact that someone is struggling to ride a bike when a boy with a unicycle just strolls in the vid xD

  • november 24 2005 looks like this video was made 1975

  • most velo's don't aloud brakes bud.

  • @twostepsteezy actually, a "fixie" is not necesarily a track bike. however MOST track bikes are fixed gear. there are free wheel track bikes and fixed gear conversion road bikes :}

  • it's easier to get on if you kick one leg over the handlebars rather than up over the saddle.

  • ride the god damned bike fucking retard

  • That niggah is retarded riding fixie should be easier but first time stopping is different

  • a fixie is just a track bike o_o without brakes

  • adam, you should post your first attempt at skid stopping. it'd be interesting to see lol

  • has this faggot ever rode a bike

  • burro

    burro ese loco

  • is this a joke?

  • I'm 15 and i don't know how to ride a bike :l ... i think its time to learn.......

  • uhhh riding any bike is the same... its just weird seeing a full grown guy learning how to ride a bike for the first time.

  • @togaxc i take it you've never ridden a fix wheel?

  • @nanomagnetic i ride fixed, but when i started it wasnt this bad... its just a regular bike.

  • my mate rode mine into a hedge first time he tried

  • is he retarded???

  • dirka dirka dirka drrrr .. what an embarrassment

  • weird

  • Just say no to saying fixie.

  • haha this guys like oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck

  • try riding those crappy mongoose bikes first... and then beach cruisers... and then ull be worthy enough to ride a fixie

  • weird family!!!!!!!!

  • @madmiles You skid. if you don't know this already, you CANNOT freewheel on fixies. So what you do is you skid, by locking your legs and leaning forward. its really easy.

  • dude u got views!

  • I honestly dont understand how people find a "fixed" bicycle hard to ride. Its just a regular bike, but you just pedal constant.

  • I love how while he's struggling to even get on the bike, some guy probably half his age cruises back and forth on a unicycle.

  • it's not hard at all to just ride.. even for your first time.

it's just different because you cant free wheel. and theres no brakes.

  • @Vecchionskee I was thinking about getting one and Im trying to find out all that I can. How do you brake then?

  • @Vecchionskee what about going downhill.. I'm thinking about getting a fixie but im afraid that when i go downhill, the pedals are going all out and i cant control it. there a lot of up and down hills here where i live.

  • Look out for cars. Haha!

  • this gentleman lacks common sense

  • i love the random kid with the unicycle

  • "its like a unicycle with a training wheel." otherwise known as a BIKE

  • lol'd at the kid who brings the unicycle into the great event

  • What the hell? More like your first time on a bicycle.

  • It's like a unicycle

    >MAN ON UNICYCLE

  • its like riding a regular fuckin bike ruhtard.

  • Hahaha I love how the Unicycle rolls up out of nowhere while the kid tries to just get on the bike. But I assume it is because he was brought up on unicycles, haha still funny though.

  • spoiler alert: he dosent fall

  • @zaxswyre2

im glad i read this first

  • @zaxswyre2 wow i thought u were joking

  • "a unicycle with a training wheel" haha

  • L2ride noob

  • Haha hes struggling so hard to just get on the bike and this foo rolls up out of nowhere on a unicycle hahaha. Btw, idk if he is a little disabled but even though fixies take some time to get used to, they arent that hard to ride.

  • this is idiot is to stupid to ride a bike and tries to drive a fixie

  • lol

  • if ur learning how to ride a fixie you should get used to it before using pedal straps can be kinda dangerous

  • @tesk187 well im getting my fixie finished next week and i put toe clips on my speed bike to get used to it but im kinda scared im gonna eat it or somthin so yuh got any tips

  • @kevenescamilla well if its a fixie i suffest that u get used to it first, then what u could do is only install one toe clip on the bike so u can always dip out or have one foot to rely on once u get used to everything u can either keep one or install the other u can skid stop with both

  • how does he not know how to get on a bike

  • Steve is missing a chromosome :(

  • i like how he's having so much trouble getting on the bike and you see that guy riding the unicycle like no biggie lol

  • niqqa suks yo cant even get on that fixxie wtf he got his boyfriend tellin him wat to do

  • why are people so bad at getting on bikes?

  • watch those jeans hippie, and that car!

  • what a cock stain its not that hard to jump on a fuckin bike and keep peddeling! AND UNICYCISTS are a buch of cock smokers with their head up their sorry asses!

  • you do'nt get a fixed gear for your first bike.

  • ;-D ahaha "Go fast and try to coast. see what happens"

  • so your just learning how to ride a bike

  • I sear I'm watching a video on a 2 year old learning to ride a bike haha

  • +1 on training wheels

  • DAD! buy me this shitty converted fixie..because theyre cool and everyone else has one!

  • people were hating like this when skateboards started getting popular..

  • no brakes and no helmet... and it seems like he doesn't know how to ride a bike...

  • its a fixie. You don't need brakes. You're legs are the brakes. I agree on the helmet though

  • i know you dont NEED brakes, but for the first time riding a fixie it is a good idea...

  • high gearing

  • I think this is meant to be titled "First time on a Bicycle"

  • FIRST fix ride EVER an NO HELMET?

    lol

i was lucky but i almost died

    -hero

  • are you really that retarded it takes you a minute to get on a bike... and why didnt you just look down for a second, flip the pedal and put your foot in the clip...

  • It is not that hard people. Get on the f-in thing and ride it.

  • lol at the guy on the unicycle.

  • I love how the guy in the unicycle just rolls in...

  • hahahah tard!

  • hey man, u been riding much?

  • 1:36 "then go fast and coast and see what happens. muhhahhaha" his laugh is too funny

  • You live in Tucson don't you... I've been in your neighborhood.

  • its like hes never ridden anything but a low slung BMX frame

  • did he ever ride a bike? lol

  • Its not hard at all to ride a fixie. To be GOOD on one requires a lot of skill.

Check out the fixie vids on my channel

  • you suck

  • seriosly u might be retarded

  • Its seriously not this hard to ride a fixie

  • Pretty good quality for the 80s

  • hahahahahahahahahaha good one!

  • trying to coast at high speed is what I once did... I ate the pavement.

  • the kid on the unicycle =D

  • omg... this shits comedy! is this guy like physically chalanged..hahaha... im loving this shit... hahaa

  • thats a huge frame

  • not really its probably a 56.

    the seat is high tho

  • Jeez man, it's just like riding a fucking road bike, just gotta push off...

  • wtf. are u retarded? its not that hard to get it. its liek a regular bike. ur treating it like ur defusing a bomb. like 1 mistake and the world blows up x_x

  • fixie is not that hard it feels wierd when you start but these people make it look like your trying to mount and ride a lion across the desert

  • i know seriously i rode my friends fixed gear like nothing its just like a normal bike but modded a little, the only problem i had was braking since im only 4'9

  • if you've ever ridden a fixed gear with no brakes... you would know how hard your first time riding one would be

  • losers

  • whats do hard about riding that bike

  • converted my bike to a fixed gear..rode it for one day and realized i dont want to get hurt..the next day its back to 12 speed

  • You can get hurt on a 12 speed as well. It just feels weird in the beginning. If you get used to fixed gear, going back to freewheel will feel even more weird and unsafe, as you will lose control you have become familiar with.

  • wtf my first time i was skiding and doing welles and i was 11

  • i remember my first bike ride

  • start it at 0:44 and close ur eyes. let the audio draw the scene in ur head. "Oh Steven, way to hurt yourself. WOOHOO"

    "its gonna get stuck steve."

"Push, is it goin in?" "eh heh hehn its too big!"

    hardy har har

  • "its like a unicycle, but it has a training wheel"

    BEST DESCRIPTION EVER.

  • so much build up, its just a bike

  • Not really, I suppose its a track bike if you are riding it on a track (which they are not).

I agree with you though, I don't like the term Fixie, I prefer fixed gear

  • the bike looks wayyyy too big for him. . .!

  • No, it isn't. Looks just the right size. The saddle might even be a bit low.

A good rule of thumb is to stand across the top tube and lift the handlebars - you should have about 2 inches between the front tire and the ground. More and the frame is too small.

A lot of people make the mistake of thinking you should be able to touch the ground while sitting on the saddle. The saddle is for sitting on while riding. You're supposed to come off the saddle when you stop.

  • your rule of thumb isn't always correct. a lot of manufacturers have different slopes to the top tubes. so they aren't always straight across. the best thing to do is get fit for your bike. especially a road or fixed gear. i'm not trying to critisize, just help:)
