  • I only like Roots or Twin Screw blower.........not Centrifugal.

    Nice video though.

  • even with a s/c'er these cars are still slow, time for them to go on a diet! I was hoping to see some 11 second runs!!

  • wow great looking cars.but again as always from the 60's to today..mopar just can't put the numbers out a run of the mill mustang can, go to san antonio texas on any friday night and you'll see 50 or more late model mustang's sitting in line with the a/c on and stereo's blasting, driver probably playing a ps3, then get to the line, smoke off a low 10 pass and turn the a/c back on at the trap lights, sad the new mopars cost within a couple grand of a blown GT500.love'em but that ain't right

  • amazin srt8+supercharged

  • Turn the boost up

  • Beautiful Challenger!!! Love to ride in it. Great job!

  • Yeah that other challenger sucked !!! Hey before you throw that out I'll take it!!! They are both sweet.

  • lol it's still slow.

  • just barely

  • either way, this is the best lookin car out today, the hemi challenger is awsome

  • cameraman sucks.

  • wtf happened 2 chix starting races?.............

  • @TheJayEdwards That is a very good question..

  • Y'er beau en tabarnak

    Beautiful in taybernakk

    (Fuckn Beautiful!!! )

    5/5

  • haha ses vrai Lol

  • are those 20" or 22" Bose Wheels on the Speedfactory Challey? and what offset and size rubber?

  • Keep in mind, this was in early stages of tuning and with everyday street tires. With DR's you have a mid 11 second ride. Pretty quick for a 4k car with just a supercharger and DR's.

  • @FirehawkISback I agree man...drop some pounds... alot of pounds shave a little more time

  • hah thats slow

  • Sick lookin car just needs to drop some weight. Put carbon fiber hood, trunk, and doors and paint them stock color. No one will know your a couple hundred pounds lighter

  • you can buy a kit to get an srt8 challenger supercharged or do you hve to order it

  • GAY!!

  • i might get a 2010 challenger SRt8 with a procharger kit and stage 3 head and cam job, intake and exhaust upgrade, and suspension upgrade. it might add around 250 hp

i know its a heavy car so im not expecting much...if it does high 11s ill be fine, or very low 12s.

I already have a supra, so its fine...

I love the challenger it has "macho" killer looks...

but im a bit disapointed with this 1/4 mile times with vortech superchager?!?

  • 12 sec for $80,000???? No Thank you......

  • WHATS NAME SONG?

  • The name of the song is Ima Ho Mo by "Y duz every1 always ask".

  • I new the black one would win, i could FEEL it.

  • When looking at these times, keep in mind that this car wasn't built to be the fastest drag car, it was built to be a production daily driver with better speed and handling over the stock SRT8 and has a warranty. You'll notice there are no slicks, it has full interior, A/C, etc. Also the elevation and heat in Las Vegas are factors.

Hot Rod tested this car and liked it. See the other videos.

We know how to build fast 1/4 cars, our Charger race car set a world record!

  • @SpeedFactoryCars This is SOOOOO true about LVMS, In a lighlty moddified R/T Challenger (Diablo, Afe, mopar springs) I can only pull mid 14's.

  • @SpeedFactoryCars what suspension system are you guys running?

  • OMG HILLBILLIES

  • cool cars , but man that camera work sucks....

  • Challengers weigh 4000 pounds

  • Wouldn't a whipple, or magnacharger help with the lag that the vortech has. Better 1/4 mile time???

  • it would but they dont make em in roots type only cintrifugal for the srt, im surprised they only run 12s tho

  • I like those BOZE wheels.

  • Looks like the challenger only had street radials on the car.

  • my 03 cobra ran 12.1@119 on street tires. it made 472hp 466ftlbs SAE. even with 600hp on street tires shouldve ran faster than that

  • cobras weigh less than challengers.

  • I have run the 1/4 mile in 12.7 secs (110 mph) and the 1/8 mile in 7.9 secs (85 mph) in my 2006 Charger Daytona that weights 4300 lbs. with 420 horses and 440 pounds of torque @ the wheels. I love this Challenger, but their numbers don't add up! With that kind of horse power they should have ran high 11s with street tires or low 11s with drag radials at about 120 mph.

  • Take the elevation into account, approx 2,000 feet. That slows everybody down.

  • That is very true.

  • I live in Vegas, and this track pretty much sucks due to track prep, elevation and the damn heat.

  • oooooooooo that makes sense

  • Numbers like that (112 mph) sound more like 500hp

  • 4000 pounds.

  • should run much faster than that with 600hp, how much does that thing weigh?
