FL and MI held their caucuses early breaking the National Democratic Committee rules. Obama had nothing to do with this and Hillary was fine with it...
UNTIL her expected landslide victory did not come to pass.
Women should not be President! We are too emotional and we'll say and do anything to get what we want because we KNOW we can always make up for it "later".
The world has far too many boys and not enough "men".
I agree with your first paragraph about FL and MI, but wow... what a completely wrong-headed thing to say about women. Sexism does not help Obama these days.
Obama's name wasn't on Michigan's ballot. Hillary supporters apparently are a bunch of commies who dont't believe in democracy. If you think those votes should count, then move to Russia.
Sorensen's a national treasure, a faint echo of the days when intelligence and reason prevailed in the White House, and when patriotism meant actually CARING about your country, your fellow citizens, and the world, and wasn't just a bludgeon to be wielded to destroy your political opponents.
"Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country... Ask not what America can do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man." Will those days ever return?
That is a REALLY stupid thing to say. And I can't imagine anyone but a Hillary supporter saying it, as opposed to anyone who actually CARES about equal representation for people in FL and MI. That kind of logic is no better than the 5 conservative members of the Supreme Court arguing that they were just upholding the Constitution when they handed their darling Georgie Boy the keys to the White House in 2000. Yeah, right!
I rather have someone with good judgment than someone with good connections running the country. Obama has 6 yrs of experience working in the state senate and 4 yrs in the US senate. That equals 10 yrs of public service versus Hillary's 8. He passed a hugely popular health care bill in Ill. he was a civil rights lawyer, law professor, president of the Harvard Law Review, community organizer, magna cum laude from Harvard Law and magna cum laude in international relations at Columbia.

Sorensen can endorse anyone he wants, but it doesn't mean the candidate he endorses is any good. I am from Illinois, and if Mr. Sorensen can tell me what Obama has done for Illinois as its Senator, I will then believe Sorensen was talking sense.
Obama for president? Don't waste your money in hiring such a person! Oprah Winfrey can afford to pay/employee Obama.

I do believe Obama is the most honest on the Democratic side. However, it wasn't Kennedy's Irish ethnicity it was his religion that was in debate in 1960. Also, Kennedy was 8 years in the House & 8 years as Senator to Obama's 4 (by 2008). It's so stupid to compare him to Kennedy. And to excuse his inexperience by saying he made the decision to oppose the Iraq War? I know several friends who opposed the Iraq War from the beginning . . . Do that make them presidential material?! NO!
Obama has an additional 8 years in the Illinois Senate.
It's not just about taking a position, it's about having a clear head in emotional times and predicting both the consequences of an invasion of Iraq and what would happen if you gave Bush the authority.

We don't need him to be our Senator--Senator Obama has done nothing for people in Illinois! 36% missing votes as Senator from Illinois. What is he going to do for the US?
Judgment? What judgment does Obama demonstrate? I opposed to the War in Iraq before it started. So what? Am I a president material? Doh!
Wop, Kennedy has years on Obama in legislative experience. Obama outdoes Kennedy because he was a civil rights lawyer, law professor, president of the Harvard Law Review, community organizer, magna cum laude from Harvard Law and magna cum laude in international relations at Columbia. You have to look at the entire resume, and you'll see Obama's is very impressive.
no, but your friends were RIGHT, and I rather have someone with good judgment then someone with good connections running the country. Obama has 6 years of experience working in the state senate and 4 years in the US senate. That equals 10 years of public service versus Hillary's 8. He's also accomplished more while serving. He passed a hugely popular health care bill in Ill. (something that Hillary failed to do in NY and nationally).
I don't think you were really listening. He said Kennedy's chances were doomed the day he was born and BAPTIZED.
Plus, he clearly said he wasn't comparing them, he was comparing their candidacies. Also, he is not "excusing obama's inexperience". Mr. Sorensen clearly thinks Obama is experienced enough..."he (Obama) has a wealth of experience" is what he said. Sorensen is simply using Obama's opposition to the war as a testimony of his good judgement.
God has his hands on that boy. People will forever remember where they were - much like they do when the first man walked on the moon, like when the Kennedy's died - when Barack Obama was elected President in 2008.
"They say Obama lost his chances of being president the day he was born a black American."
Really? Who says that?

In this video from 9/2007, Sorenson talks about the importance of good judgment.
Wonder if old Ted knows that Obama wants the U.S. to abandon its anti-missile defense system, among other ideas?
Would that be good judgment?

Obama is either naive or the Manchurian Candidate.
Could it be that Ted Sorenson was looking for a speech writing job with Obama and that is why he endorsed him?
My guess is that TS has been writing Obama's material for about a year now.
