I do believe Obama is the most honest on the Democratic side. However, it wasn't Kennedy's Irish ethnicity it was his religion that was in debate in 1960. Also, Kennedy was 8 years in the House & 8 years as Senator to Obama's 4 (by 2008). It's so stupid to compare him to Kennedy. I don't think you were really listening. He said Kennedy's chances were doomed the day he was born and BAPTIZED.

Plus, he clearly said he wasn't comparing them, he was comparing their candidacies. Also, he is not "excusing obama's inexperience". Mr. Sorensen clearly thinks Obama is experienced enough..."he (Obama) has a wealth of experience" is what he said. Sorensen is simply using Obama's opposition to the war as a testimony of his good judgement.
