This is great, but picking his 20 greatest songs is like (for me) trying to pick my favorite all-time Laker after Magic. That said, I would have 'Scenes' as my #1. Angry Young Man, Pressure, The Stranger and Big Shot would all be in my top 10 along with Piano Man, We Didn't Start the Fire, Only the Good Die Young, It's Still Rock and Roll To Me and either Movin' Out or My Life. Leningrad would probably be in my top 20, but again all the songs are so good it's hard to decide!

i have to say that to pick his best son gs z an impossible task cos there all excellent. had any other artist wrote and sung any 1 or 2 of those songs everyone would be goin crazy about them, yet when 1 man writes them all he doesnt get the credit he deserves. i just dont understand it. he z thebest artist of all time simply cos he had so many hits and so many different type of hits, asong to satisfy everyones taste.

I'd say it was impossible to put a Billy Joel top 20 of songs because for me personally the list would probably chnage every day. Then you also have to take into account are we just talking hits/popular stuff or lesser known songs too like "Everybody Loves You Now" "I've Loved These Days" "Weekend Song" "Everybody Has A Dream" "Scandinavian Skies" etc....my own favourite though is An Innocent Man.
