STONES FANATICS- Place this song in the running order of the Between the Buttons album along the side of All Sold Out and Miss Amanda Jones! It fits perfectly! It must be from those sessions. Identical overdriven guitar sound. It would have been a fab addition to that disc.
The music in the verse parts reminds one of Marvin Gaye's "Hitch Hike". The similarities end there. This would've been a top 20 single in the U.S., or a very good B-side. Mick, Keith & woody should lightly edit this track and put it on a record. It's too good for the "can".
This is a great track, I'd heard a bootleg version of this title got your shit together, which is what the lyric said. Interesting this must have been the radio airplay version.
Charlie's beat sounds just like "Get off My Cloud" Great clips!

Actually, they were a bunch of rather natty, trendy, chic looking dudes until they became vile, smelly, scruff-bag hippies.

@mtwallet....listen to the two songs i mentioned. The guitar tone and overdrive is similar. Remember that album came out in '67!

people in the concerts yelling we want the stones
when keith said this is not what rolling stones its all about
when micks sas charlie is playing good tonight
in a concert tryng to guess the open act it will be jumpin jack flash or under my thumb etc
what else they can do after 48 years they just can sing and be the greatest rock and roll band in the world

This is one cool track, with some more production gloss ,this could almost be in the same class as "Satisfaction" ♫

FANTASTIC, MAN! BEST BAND EVER, BAR NONE! Even their out-takes are better than that other mob from up north someplace.

This is absolutely amazing stuff! Brian and Keith sound great together as always. Bill and Charlie were an amazing rhythm section. Thanks for this.

Stones were ahead of their times; sounds like something Bad Company would've put out in '70.

I'd thought I'd heard just about every Stones outtake, but I've never heard this one before. Thanks for posting.

It is from 1966 but for Between the Buttons sessions, not Aftermath, which was actually recorded in 1965.
