  • Those scuks don't care about you, me or any other Black person out here. No different than these wealthy Whites who don't care about poor Whites. They all just want more money and power for themselves. It's time for seperation from the filthy, NIGGERS! Black men and Women know i'm telling the truth and what we must do.

  • ITs kinda true when I think about a nigga that did me wrong I'm pissed. But if I hear jada talkin about you can't let no nigga take nothing you catch em and broad daylight and snuff em. And I start thinking You right I should find that nigga BUT there puff daddy is who was in the club that night Diddy is an artist ha

  • she is not actally blaming hip hop. These rappers have a huge impact on children, and yes it do go back to home but when kids reach 15, 16, 17 a parent cant no longer control what and who they listen to. the music dont make anybody do anything but ppl see these rappers, and say oh i wanna do that. She named out a few to give you an idea. Hip Hop didnt kill her brother but the influcene it has on others did. SORRY FOR YOUR LOST.

  • How did hip hop kill her brother???? Violence, drugs, alcohol existed long before hip hop was was around. Gangster rap insist even relevant anymore

  • and how the fuck did u know so much about wjt Pac was planning, ur giving urself too much credit, u know as much about him as me...so stfu actin like u was his manager

  • i meant to u CANT make a political statement in a movie, NOT AT ALL LIKE U CAN IN MUSIC, tupac was the voice of a generation, he wasnt goin anywhere

  • Tupacs biggest stage was music, and moreso hip hop music, u can make a political statement in a movie. Music was his vehicle, his fans wereYOU and the rest of hiphop! he may hav left death row but he wasnt quittinhip hop no time soon bruh...pay attention

  • @killuminati7upac before you hit enter again let someone read it first, someone who graduated from somewhere bc dude tryin to understand ur point is a lil challenging...na bump dat DUDE WTF RU TAWKIN BOUT???

  • @DrDisrespectful Change the Environment, You change the music, And the rappers aint gonna do it, thats all im gonna say,n another thing about violent music, if these real gangstas not these fake ones would destroy society, then always remeber tupac, cuz what he was thinkin about his carreer he knew that hip hop would just fuck everything up, so he was thinkin of retiring or qutittin,. thats y you see alot of his albums unfinished He once said in his track "Ill give it all up if itll help u GROW"

  • idiots do stupid things like trying to ACTUALLY live out the life of their favorite movie (see SCARFACE, WALLSTREET, JACKASS movies) or favorite rapper (JayZ, TI, SCARFACE, Rick Ross and then go see 65% of all inner city black dudes)

  • idiots do things like WORSHIP recording artists judt bc they hav a cool video, or song, or dance, or hairstyle. yes in this country black and white we cant wait to go throw all our money and devotion to fuckinn superficial things

  • @killuminati7upac umm i think i get ur point, but u certainly r nt clear! i think we r gettin off topic. imo hip hop duznt kill, immaturity +stupidity= y hip hop is so negative, murderous (in expression), and full of misogyny. Its not like if u play a cd backwards u will here kill ur enemies or something. idiots do stupid things like...

  • @DrDisrespectful Eazy Es son Lil Eazy E, He sed"First of all let me start off by sayn much luv 2 all my Crips Pirus n Blood out ther that has livd n shed blood for wut they beleive in n represnt but all dis extra fake gangbngn goin on is really gettn out of hand im seein dis nigga soo woopn @ da awards enuf is enuf i got homies that r in jail fightin for ther lives and RIP behind this thang n 4 those fools who r clownin n makin a mockery of us these niggas has taken our style and r destroyin it"

  • not hip hop...Rap is...theres a giant difference and jay z and puffy dont even speak gangsta-ish

  • Yes blame hip hop and no sense of personal responsibility. Its called natural selection, if you follow hip hop as a life style you are an idiot. its just entertainment. Misogynistic escapism for young males. Brother deserved to die. Too many people on this planet. 7 billion 6 billion needs to go, start with the stupid ones.

  • so no i dont think hip hop kills anyone, I believe GREED, FAST MONEY, And STUPIDITY kills...these rppers r jusr mimiking other rappers that sell. its not confusing, when WE as consumers say STIP THE BULLSHIT or we wont support. IT WILL STOP THAT DAY, or rappers willstarve...ITS THE HIP HOP COMMUNITY NOT HIP HOP

  • ...the problem is there are too many ppl who lack talent in the biz, and if u lack talent, do u quit? nope u go and try to find something that will SELL???AND NEGATIVITY WILL ALWAYS SELL? So no its not HIPHOP????its YOU

  • @killuminati ur dead wrong... rakim mc lyte digable planets TRIBE etc etc etc...ItS BULLSHI to b leev hip hop must be negative to be popular, PUBLIC ENEMY RUNDMC LL BOW WOW LUDA there are plenty of successful acrs that dont promote violence...if u have talent it will shine thru...

  • Hip-hop is not a unit and can't be blamed for any bad influence, just like people of a certain color can't. Intents and messages in hip-hop vary like hell. These are just loose inferences on the basis of emotional hurt, try not to let sorrow influence your sense.

  • Srry for ur loss but hip hop is a business its not A revalation people take lyrics the wrong way and act upon it its up to the individual to let it b hip hop and whoever takes hip hop to that level is ignorant and heartless

  • Hip Hop can never be piece, cuz its supposivley Rebelious Music frm the streets. or it can be about woman also. im sorry but if there aint no negative talk in music, itll never make money, ppl wanna hear somethin about Relation brake ups cash wich is greed and bangin talkin about haters If it dont make dollas it dont make sense n i beleive if pac was around, all these rappers would of never risen up, and pac wanted 2 quit rappn cuz it dosnt help at all"ill give it all up if itll help u grow"

  • @killuminati7upac i 100% agree...

  • @DrDisrespectful Fuck u, u ever even heard what Lil Eazy E said about this new rap generation.

  • It's good to see a female who knows better for a change

  • Conscience Rap & Hip-Hop does exist but its being slowly drowned and suffocated by demoralizing , unintelligent and inhumane garbage that's being produced and shoved in our ears through radio stations on a regular basis..Movies aren't far away from the problem, and can be put on a pedestal higher than music because of its graphic and vivid theatrical portrayal to the youth which inspires and introduces most of what we see in the streets today.. The problem is viral and will never be stopped.

  • (cont.) to them urself!! So dnt blame Hip-Hop for ur lost!! Figure out what ur brother had going on before u point fingers Miss Shabazz!

  • I'm sorry for your lost but how could u fix ur mouth to say, "HIP-HOP KILLED MY BROTHER!" What if the trigger man was deaf? They couldn't here the message in the lyrics coming from Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, or Puffy!!!! 9 times outta 10 ur brother was A: In the wrong place @ da wrong time or B: He was doing something he had no business doing that ya'll knew nothing about!! Those who listens to Hip-Hop, choses to listen to Hip-Hop and in order for u to now what message is being delivered u had to listen

  • We all love hiphop up, BUT truthfully... she is right. The lyrics of today do have a negative influence. When was the last time you have a positive lyric... PLAYED AND ADVERTIZED via radio or videos? To negative rep her poem.. is to lie to yourself. shez jst crying out about the lose of her brother and would like hiphop to show a more positive message.

gunz, drugz, fighting, drinking, halfnaked women and robbing people... to say that you dont see this n almost every video TODAY is a lie.

  • that music is not for minors if you let yo child listen to that its yur own fault

  • First and foremost, im sorry to hear about your brother. Secondly Hip Hop did not kill your brother. Hip Hop has not ever nor will it ever be a person yet we personify it as such. I understand the message you are trying to convey but you can not single out 4 artist within the hip hop community. There are a ton of other artists who rap about much harsher topics. We(the black community)have been robbing and killing our brothers and sisters way before hip hop was thought of. Research b4 u Ridicule

  • bullshit side*** of hip hop

  • that causes society the way it is & the people the way the are we are slaves who have to work for paper money in order to live u should be writing a letter [or shooting a fucking rocket launcher] to and @ the government not hip hop in alll honesty people still and rob & do grimey fucked up shit becuz nothing is free and nothing is given & the ones who have control of all of this DONT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT US.. no excuses for these actions but your pointing the blame in the wrong direction. L1oVe

  • look im not goin to deny this is very sad but HIP HOP did not kill your brother, your brother(most likely) did some dumb shit to get himself killed, HIP HOP is not all about bitches money cars if u listen to kanye and the people in G.O.O.D music you'll see that, you just want someone to blame all i can say is blame your brother for his actions HIP HOP didnt tell him go out and kill or do dumb shit he did it on his own like i said this is sad but blame your bro for his actions not HIP HOP

  • Comment removed

  • @KungFatty wtf are you talkin about?

  • @KingHeartless1418 your right , what am i talking about

  • lets blame the movies cause we fucked up, cmon son. i mean whatever hapened to your brother is sad, but EXCUSES instead of understandin what really hapened is even worst. do you really think without hip hop the world would be better? open your eyes.

  • She just said Lil Wayne was one of the most influential people in Hip-Hop. You can clearly see she's speaking on something she knows NOTHING about.

  • @DonBheshan exactly

  • Comment removed

  • SORRY BUT THIS SHIT WILL NEVER CHANGE WE ARE ALL FUCKED, IM NOT TRING TO BE FUNNY BUT WE ARRE STUCK IN A HOLE THAT WE CAN NOT COME OUT OF. THE WORLD IS OVER AND IT HAS BEEN FOR SOME TIME NOW

    REAL TALK

  • it's not hip hop's fault your brothers a faggot who deserved to die

  • Check out this guy from Cali name Bizzle. He has a song called LIAR speaking on this same issue. Here's the link I hope it works

    /watch?v=rzaLcvE7dYY

  • I agree with everything she is saying. Hip hop didnt obviously do the ACTUAL crime but it definitely influences an individuals negative side because thats what mainstream media promotes.

We are quick to say "dont blame rappers" when then they tell they fans you aint real if you havent sold cracked or pulled out choppers. We give them a pass cause they entertain us.

The Mob Boss never does the crime but he supports the acts being done. Fans are like blind hitmen dying for a heartless Boss.

  • She's somewat right. Hip isn't the sole cause of violence in tha ghetto but it does have a big influence. I mean shit if u bout to go do a drive by u don't put on no country music. All that killin this n killin that, n tough-guy-that-shoot-niggaz shit does send a subliminal message. Some people just don't want 2 admit it. I love hip hop but I gotta keep it real.(This doesn't apply to ALL hip hop. But y'all Do kno which part I'm talkin bout.)

  • also some food 4 thought. white kids are hip hops largest audience, but you dont hear any stories of white kids going through any problems because of the genre. why is that? look up artists like Rhymefest and Asheru and many others. there are artists out doing exactly what is being asked. its a shame no one is checking for them. =/

  • great letter but i respectfully disagree. true lyrics do become reality for some, but thats where the issues come from. people should learn what to take as entertainment. you cant blame it all on hip hop because there IS a GREAT quantity of POSITIVE hip hop with a message. like on my channel. its just not being listened to. (isnt that something?) the real problem is the media portraying & promoting everything you said in our community. your letter should be for those who control what we see

  • It's a sad story, and her letter was nice. But before hip-hop was even created it was poverty. If anything Hip-hop created avenues for more people to escape the poverty. It's not Hip-Hop, it's poverty. Once poverty is completely removed from Earth, harmony among men will come to Earth. 1+1=2#SIMPLE MATHEMATICS!

  • hip hop doesnt influence society society influences hip hop remember before alot of these rappers where stars they where living just like most of us in the hood an they learned about that street life then.

  • Im sorry about her lose, but this some bull shit. Why she target some of the biggest names of hip hop. She trying to get some fucking attention. Jay-Z Don't even talk about killing and Diddy damn sure don't, Lil Wayne does but he also the same guy who came out with lollipop and a rock album. All Im saying is people need to start being held accountable for their actions and stop pointing the finger at other people. Blame the parents for not teaching their kids to be their own person....

  • @KingFreak07 I do realize she is not blaming these individuals, but this is the same attitude that has people like Oprah and Bill O'reilly trying to tear Hip Hop down. Don't forget how many young lives Hip Hop saved, if it wasn't for HIp Hop alot of people would be dead or locked up as well. Hip Hop is some people only outlet, rather it be making beats, freestyle, or the pen and pad. Oh and I can't forget dancing, Hip Hop is a culture and its being tainted by people like this.... One Love

  • babe people make there own decisions , nobody is to blame. im sorry for your loss.

  • sorry for your brother but there are people who dont even listen to hip hop..so wats you answer for their death..!! music dont control da mind SOCIETY DOES..THIS IS JUST REALITY BABY GIRL..!!

  • @quinntorris17 actually a lot of society does kill people after some teen listens to a lil wayne song they wanna be blood orr they wanna make jup their own gang most of the time

  • All the KATS talking bout 'Hollywood and Government do more damage than hiphop, ya'll need to kill that! hiphop needs to start taking responsibility ., All the conscious rappers r selling their souls and respecting the idiots that talk crap in their music... n dont blame society cause hiphop has a BIG influence on Society, it has become such a dominant force that it the power to depict whats cool and not cool, thats why big corporations took control

  • sorry to hear about your bro sis . there is no such thing of death because since we have souls, he just resigning on the second plane for now ..most likely he will reincarnate thew your child or other member that vibes towards him the most .they fear death not us we mastered it in the ancient world

  • put it this way. like in 95 or whenever. when mobb deep came out with "the infamous" i could see how the songs and those stories in that album were believable and you could place blame. that album was dark. nowadays; people just go around saying what theyre gonna do in a nonsensical way. "i got a choppa in the car" sorry wayne you don't scare me at all. it's enertainment. there was a time when you could place blame on hip hop for societys ills in inner city america.those seeds have been planted.

  • Hip Hop Isnt Killin Any1... There Were Gangsta's, Killings And Hoes B4 Hip Hop Was Thought Of... We Need To Not Blame One Of The Ways Sum Of Us Kan Get Out Da Hood... No Disrespect 2 Shortie Reading The Letter She Wrote, But Da Letter Only Shows Black People Blaming Famous Black People For A Crime Dey Didnt Commit... Why Not Blame The Gun Suppliers, Gun Companies, Police, Etc...

  • its not hip hop thats killing folks its the people who's getting involved with imitating the image of the artist and their entertainment, which is acting tuff when the actual hip hop star is not that way in real life, they fool us to think its cool to act that way and then we feel related to that role amongst our own personal attitudes, then we act out on it with no bodyguards to back us up, then we end up becoming a victim or a suspect to society which is sad. MAY GOD REST YA BROTHER SOUL

  • I feel where she comin from but in the end I'm not a believer in a strong minded person listening to a couple song n going out to rob somebody now it is true that someone could b a victim but u can't stop what somebody else was goin to do thats just not possible I'm sorry for u loss tho but think about all the people that hip hop saved we gotta keep it alive

  • So she thinks that Hip hop is the reason why there are liquor stores on her corner streets and drug dealers in her neighbor hood? Poor child someone needs to point her in the direction of a local library show she can began to properly educated her self on economics and American history! Oh wait hip hop might have cut the local tax on state funded libraries in her neighborhood. DAMN YOU HIP HOP!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Looking at some of the comments, you guys don't think hip hop influences our community? If you put out negativity what do you get back? Music is the soundtrack to our lives and you can't tell me that bangers listen to jazz or classical music on their way to a drive-by. If hip hop was ALL positive music you would def see a positive impact in the streets. Negativity sells but it ain't the rappers who are losing family members at record pace, so they profit from our death. Everybodies fault IMO.

  • Comment removed

  • She has a good point, we can act like Hip Hop has no influence on how people think, but thats a lie. Remember when Jay Z was saying to put away the jerseys and bring the button ups, how many people were rocking button ups? What about when Puffy said to drink ciroc, or new songs with moscato, if you think that what you listen to has no effect on young minds or even adult minds I would tell you your lying!!! or just dont know any better

  • hip hop is not responsible for violence in american, americas responsible for violence is america - Shyne

Sorry for your loss, but this is rediculous

  • What's next they are going to say hip-hop killed Sean bell or hip hop encouraged the unabomber smfh-_-

  • this letter long as shit.....

  • Hip Hop has changed...long gone are the days of Big Daddy Kane, Public Enemy etc with positive messages, now its booty clapping, drug taking, lollipop sucking, tattoo inking, Nigga calling artist. The music industry pay mills to artist to do and say such things. Anybody who disagrees never listened to Hip Hop back in the day so the don't know better!

  • She trying to get on BET...hip hop didn't kill your brother...bad decision did that.

  • i hate shit like dis like hip hop aint got shit to do wit nobody dyin, dey make musik 4 ppl to listen to, not for ppl to go act out, n if u got a problem wit wut dey tawkin bout, den u n yours dnt gotta listen to it, like wtf she just on here tawkin sum str8 bullshit

  • FIRST!

A SORROWFUL CRY FOR HELP FROM LIL WAYNE, PUFFY, AND JAY Z WILL GO UNHEARD...THEY DON’T GIVE A FLYING FIG! WHAT DO YOU SEE IN YOUR COMMUNITY THAT IS POSITIVE FROM SUPPORTING THEM?! SCHOOLS? JOBS? ART CENTERS? WHAT!!!!!!? WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF YOUR SUPPORT? WHAT IS THE RESULT OF YOUR SUPPORT? THE ONLY RESULT IS THE PERPETUATION OF BACKWARDS THINKING! BRAVO FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

  • Am sorry about Your brother. but Hollywood is doing more damaging than hiphop in our world today. BET, MTV and their reality shows. Positive conscious hiphop is there but people are just too ignorant to care about it.It will make more sense writing a letter to the congress asking them to clear our hoods of drugs and guns.y hearts goes out to you.

  • @item77 I agree with your statements but congree will never clear out our hoods of anything because they veiw they people that live in them as irrelevent beings. As long as inner city crime stays in the inner city, the "Governmet" will just sit back and continue to watch us steal, kill and keep our environment drug infested.

  • Comment removed

  • @item77 it's not about who's doing more, it's about who has more influence! Preachers and politicians are just as busy as drug dealers but that's not who kids in the hood look up to is it? People are lead by circumstance and influence. Anyone who is not a part of the solution is a part of the problem. remember that.

  • Your brother died because of lil Wayne's lollipop song? Puff daddy wasn't relevent in 09, and out of all Jay-z albums, BP3 had less violent lyrics. I get your message that rappers should choose more positive lyrics, but that's like telling the porn industry to blur out nudity. It ain't happening. A better message for viewers and subscribers is to stop watching BET, because there is nothing you can learn from it

  • sorry to hear abt your brother, but rappers still going to talk abt guns drugs and females! cuz it is what makes them money! smh

  • thats deep : (

  • Hip Hop has power! Hip Hop makes things happen! Hip hop influences people ALL Around the World! Hip Hop makes you dance, sing, write, paint, mix, scratch, cut, beatbox, and much more! Hip Hop has also been Hijacked and Kidnapped! The money grubbing corporations have been holding Hip Hop hostage for almost a couple decades and Hip Hop is doing the same thing that Charles Manson's victims did...Hip Hop has become a force to victimize the people! Let's Free Hip Hop! Let's promote Hip Hop 4 Peace!

  • Great Letter, and so sorry to hear about your brother.. But Hip-Hop is the story behind whats really going on in the society.. With that being said, HIP-HOP DIDN'T KILL YOUR BROTHER sweet heart.. SOCIETY DID!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @FinalPlotProductions True indeed.

  • @FinalPlotProductions TOO REAL

  • @FinalPlotProductions Precisely... its crazy she didnt think deeper than this......tho i dont listen to the bullshit suide of hip hop nor agree with it but the we are as a people is is way more deeper rooted than hip hop or any music in general music is just an Echo... of what is a persons reality and te reality in society and or a persons inner reality..... Civilization .... water isnt free food isnt free clothes arnt free shelter isnt free..a few examples of something realer than "Hip hop"

  • @FinalPlotProductions no you are totally wrong,i mean totally wrong....look how the kids are dressin..straight like homo sexuals, bright colors, such an such..hip hop is not telling a story, hip hop is leading the kids in a wrong direction..growing up i see never seen kids with facial piercing until lil wayne have that bullshit...you get my limo...

  • Comment removed

  • I hear you but, the fact is Lil Wayne isn't there parents.. We need to stop blaming others for our mistakes. Thats some of whats wrong. No one wants to hear that they didnt do the things to keep there children's heads on straight. So they blame HIP HOP! Its getting old. It starts in the home, before the tv and radio comes on. I was a bad kid, that became a bad man.. HIP HOP didnt do that to me the living situations did. No disrespect but I've said enough about this. Peace..
