Well, I'm from Grenada, MS (about 20 minutes from Charleston) and there are some in my town that feel the same way as those in this doc about races needing to be separate. The school prom here isn't segregated, BUT there is something called a "cotillion" that's nothing but whites. I've always been told it was created as a "dance to keep the blacks out".
