And theres another place to get 99 lives. its in world two, the level right before the first castle. at the very end theres a turtle coming down the stairs. if you jump on him at the right moment, he gives you 99 lives

@Crab4pple you stand on the second stair, and right as the turtle is about to walk off the fourth stair, you tap the jump button. dont do a full jump. it takes practice to get it. and if you miss, dont worry. just pick the turtle up, go to the top of the stairs and trow the turtle shell toward the flag pole. then run back to the yellow tubes and try again
