  • holly crap if you paid 650 for that you got ripped off!

  • can you still pedal this without the motor running? can you have the engine disengaged so your back wheel spins freely?

I'm highly considering one of these for a full suspension mountain bike I have

  • @Carmador yes you can pedal without the motor running but it is slightly more difficult because the belt creates some friction while it is still attached. you can slip the belt off and then rubberband up and it will work just like it did without the motor. Please note that the vido portrays by bike without any way to change gears. I have since found a way around this so you can still change your front 3 gears. PM me if you would like to know more. check with local police 2 make sure its legal

  • im sure you didnt pay 650 dollars like you said you can get them off ebay for 150 i paid a 100 dollar bill for mine and it does awesome

  • how fast can it go, what is the max speed, do you have the 13 or the 14 gear, thank you

  • @x3lumpialov3rs depends on your weight and bikes weight. i weigh 180 and my bike is pretty light so i can go 30mph flat, but ive gotten it up to 37 downhill. i also get about 90 mpg but again if you are lighter then you would get better mileage.

im not sure what you mean by 13 or 14. do you mean how many speeds the bike itself has or how many teeth the gears have????

  • awsome

  • OMFG i want one !!!!!

  • Great job on the video. I have had my gebe for over 2 years now and love it. My experience has told me to keep the speeds down as I am ridding a bike with bike brakes. Rarely do I go over 25mph. Oh it will do around 40 but this is pretty fast on a bicycle. Have fun and thanks for the video to watch. Vern

  • I just got mine built. I am having to engage the belt, then put my weight on the seat (with my hand) while I pull the starter cord. Then I quikly step to the side of the bike and grab the brake so it won't take off on it's own while get on. Is thus how you start (and get on) yours?

  • I believe you are doing what i did when i first got mine. If after you start it the engine wants to go on its own without giving it gas then the problek is hag u snaked the throttle cable to tight like in a spiral from he engine to the handle bars. If u look at my review on their site(BZ from NH) thsn u should see what i mean. I start it then engage it then get on. The engine should not be moving it forward before you give it gas. DonT rev the engine because the belt will wear out faster.

  • It could also be the idle screw located by the choke. While ghe emgine is runni g back the screw out until the engiene soundsmlike it is going to stall. It will have to be adjusted over time. Do not rev the engine even when the belt is not engaged because the belt is still touching tue gear belts only last about a year before he snap so keep and extra so u can put a new one on when i breaks. Ic u need anymore help contact golden eagle and request for julia. Sh really was a big help for me.

  • that's rad dude. Does one have to be mechanically inclined to install this? I ain't. But i got some tools lying around. Is it hard to install?

  • What's the clicking when your riding it near the begining? Sounds like your shifting gears or something.

  • right after i start the engine i forgot to engage the belt tencioner, which caused the motor to go when i pulled the throttle but it didnt turn the wheen. the click ing like every 10 secons=ds after that is just likke something with the camera

  • Oh o.k. I'm planning on getting one of these GEBE. Did you install it?

  • yeah it took like 30 minutes

  • I like it how you can get a good idea of how it sounds. Nice vid.
