My main taste in music has always been rock and roll but vince gill just floors me! I love everything there is about him. His voice, playing, lyrics and songwriting....just amazing!

Vince's humility and generosity to those he learned from never ceases to floor me.

His has to struggle for his composure at 2:30 mark paying tribute to Emmylou, and the inspiration and direction he felt for the first time, listening to her sing Bluebird Wine. What a class act. It's not just his virtuosity that sets him apart from the rest of country music, but that grace and humor that never waver.
