I looked for this cuz I just had the idea of doing this in the other direction, Buffy footage with MLP theme music. So far I got that "Big adventure" was Buffy, "Tons of fun" was Anya, "A beautiful heart" was Xander, "Faithful and strong" was Giles, "Sharing kindness" was Tara and "Magic makes it all complete" would be Willow. Sadly I lack the video editing skills that would pay those bills.
I actually support the casting in this video 100%. I think Spike works as a better Xander because he's got a lot more of that geeky sarcasm. Spike's the average guy in a show full of supernatural mares, just like Xander is the average guy in a show full of supernatural women. Rainbow seems a little too athletic and hotheaded to be Xander, in my opinion. Superb editing, and awesome video. :)
I agree with most of your casting, but I think you could actually switch Xander and Anya. Anya is goofy, but more in Raindow Dash's awkwardly blunt sort of way,and Xander (at least in the beginning) was quite the silly one...and he's also "the normal one" -- whereas Dashie is a pegasus.
