  • GOOD racing by the way. Whats up bud its me Wes!!!! Just wanted to know what kind of steering wheel you got, it looks BADASS. I would to get one,. Stay safe Lats

  • What roll bar did you have on this car? I've got a vert too and I've always wanted that bit of extra safety at the track... W/o buying a coupe...

  • i think his shifting needs more work

  • ni - hiiiise video setup. What cam and mount system are you using?

I´m checking out all the underbody details that you mentioned. I will start the build of a 318is coupe soon (hopefully) - not as fast as yours, but should be fun anyways, as long as the competitors stay in the same range.

Looking forward to more videos from you!

  • minimal wheel squeel, thats some smooth driving. Do you know how much your making at the wheels, you passed some quick cars there

I'd guess 300-350hp at the wheels.

  • Right on, in that configuration around 330 whp. Anyway, I'm now switching from the convertible to a more track oriented E36/M3 coupe with a GT35R. There should be more video coming in June.

  • Thats intense. An S52B32 with a GT35R setup will conservativly make 400hp at the wheels, and has the potential for close to 500 at the wheels. With that car the wheel squeel that you will need to worry about is from the rear wheels spinning :)

    Good luck.

  • prety good...missed shift @3:04

  • what kind of times where you running? was it the long track, like they run in world challenge?

  • What suspension and tires are you running? Very nice driving. I want a twin screw on an S52 bad.

  • JT Strut Bar, H&R coilovers, H&R 28 mm sway bar front,

H&R Race Spring, #1025 Front, Eibach Race Spring, #800 Rear, no rear sway bar, Ground Control E36 Camber/Caster Plates, Ground Control E36 Hybrid Front LCA Bearings, Ground Control E36 Monoball RTAB, Ground Control Front Subframe Reinforcement, TMS E36 Rear Subframe/Chassis Reinforcement, TMS E36 Rear Swaybar Reinforcement, TMS E36 Camber Arm Reinforcement, BMW M3 Tie Rods.

  • kinda wimpy but nice anyways

  • Thanks for the wimpy comment. I take that as a compliment. If you want to find out why, go to a track and ask any driving instructor.

  • u need to be more agressive in the corners and u brake to quick, other than that it's ok

  • Well, a heavy car like mine needs a little more care and feed and can't be tossed into turns like a Miata.

Check out my 'Driving event in the rain' and you'll see how close to the edge the car is, even if it looks very unspectacular.

  • I'll check it out....thank's wes

  • Check out California Speedway.

I don't do wheel-to-wheel racing in the convertible, way to dangerous for my taste. I do run time attacks and non-competitive driver education events, keeping it safe.

  • Hi there it's me wes..i live in california in ontario that's the city i live in,i also check around for the 338 diff got one yesterday for $600.00 dollar's at the junkyard, cool" all i need now is the twin screw supercharger got to save up,let me know where the track is were i live at,stay cool and be safe out there..your the "man"...do you race your 328 against other driver in a event...let me know...bye for now.have a greatday...

  • Thank's for the update on the 328,love the power..where are you driving at..can i drive my car there..have a greatday..lat's wes

  • It's at the Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, UT, close to Salt Lake City.

If you tell me your location I probably could point you to a race track close by.

You can also check out the BimmerForums dot com.

Or you can search for your local SCCA or NASA club, who surely could help you getting on the nearest track.

  • just wanted to say awesome video. i own a 328is and was wondering is that twin screw supercharger on the stock motor, let me know what you did to that motor. thanks wes..

  • Hi Wes,

The motor is stock besides the Twin Screw Supercharger from Eurosport.

  • Nice video, it's worth watching.
