i followed along and made this from the materials you suggested. i had some trouble with my lash glue being so sticky. (yes, it is glue haha) anyway, i feel i could have made this with latex. i also used some grease paint over the eye shadow. i think this is a good video for those who don't have more uncommon materials or who may be allergic to latex or on a low budget :) thanks

One little tip if you want to really gross people out you could use a little pale yellow/green on the tendons and surround the immediate wound with a pink red inside of the bruising to show infection setting in, Nicely done though :)

I have to say I think you should step up from the eyelash glue and cotton. It's ok if you don't have anything else but try nose and scar wax much cleaner and smoother look. Less fake looking. Try covering the cotton with unflavered gelatine if you are going to use It will give you the fleshy look that your after. Just trying to give my honest opinion on your work.

I had a go at this this afternoon, but the tissue was really visible and wrinkled up on the skin! What am I doing wrong? And is it better to use powder concealer rather than foundation?

@jebbikah1 Try to really smooth down the tissue by applying plenty of lash glue on top and smoothing it with a wet finger (smooth down all the edges as well). I use a cream concealer, it may be that the foundation made the tissue too wet. Unfortunately the tissue will show a little. For a smoother effect use layers of lash glue or latex without tissue. Hope that helps.
