Looking back I can now see where it started...after Marija all Euro winners have been in English and there have been less and less native-language entries every year. It's depressing--and it's because entrants/countries are seeing FABULOUS songs like this be forgotten because they're native-language. Sad, Europe.

I'm not from the Balkans but I lived there for 5 years. Steta da ne znam jazik ljepo. But this is the typical banter that shows why the word "balkanize" is in the English dictionary.

Your arguments (both correct) also apply to Canada and the U.S. The difference is that we got over it and we live in "relative" harmony. SCG ... get over it and live on. Unfortunately, I have no advice for the "greater Albanian" problem. That's just scarey. And I apologize for my country recognizing Kosovo.
