What is Net Neutrality?

You think we are all equal and we all use the same internet bandwidth? Why is it we are currently allowed to buy Lite internet and Extreme High speed internet? Not neutral! What the heck is net neutrality about? You know that extreme high speed is not equal to lite internet so why is this any different?

Those who do not support Net Neutrality are trying to eliminate the First Amendment. What happens is when one is in control of the places people can and can't go to on the net then they can make them only go to places that support there view. That destroys the free market. But the Government cannot intervene, they will then get the power and do the exact same thing that the internet service providers are doing.

Maybe the real question for all of us is...are we willing to boycott any company that advocates to get rid of net neutrality? I might be willing to cancel my internet subscription to prove that point. If we all do it together we can make that point!

mickeleh- Sometimes regulation is needed to keep the marketplace open and fair. Allowing ISPs to block websites, while charging competing websites access to their consumers will destroy the internet. In fact the internet will become a group of independent networks as opposed to the all accessible "internet" we have today.

Absolute Non-Discrimination is the only thing that will not fly in net neutrality. But I believe in Net Neutrality except that Absolute part because we humans are flawed and make dumb ideas and choices and to censor such things will make humans not humans. Also when in the chase of absolutism that means some one has power, absolute power which means that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely, in order to mod the net.
