it may actually be the only non foreign language...earth language...it as created to be an international option....so it is in reality not foreign anywhere...but rather meant to unify all places through a means of communication common to all..
I believe the efforts in creating Esperanto were unnecessary--I will explain why:
There was (and still is) already a language in existence that could have been harnessed for the same effort--and it would have been far more suited for the same objectives. That language is Sanskrit.

Oh.. I would not doubt for a minute that such a relevant language as Sanskrit would also be a phenomenal choice...I have always enjoyed Sanskrit..and Vedic Culture, very much....I think Utopian visions in general owe much to Vedic culture in general, since it is so centered on elevated life and thought.
perhaps...the rather daring creator of esperanto...read the wikipedia article on esperanto language. I personally think he was a great visionary, and that in due time the earth will come to have a unified world language...more than international..beyond nations...which I personally consider passing realitites...not permanent....as ephimeral as oil or cars...or destructive dynamics...(hroughout most of natural history the rule has ben balance and adaptation after all...)
Seems interesting. I have not heard much esperanto, it definitely does seem simpler to learn. It sounds like a mix between Germanic and Romance languages, though simplified.
it gets one in touch with people of high ideals, and very educated and progressive. to me it seems like a vehicle for expressing ideas, such as a praise of Gaia I am composing, and the lyrics for an Oratorio..I am using it already for my music titles...Sirenoj, Astrolaboj...etc.
I would like to have friends who talk Esperanto cause I´m starting to study it add me on FB if you want to practice with me hecko hernandez
