  • i was looking at buying some cdj's but seeing the auto bpm thing... walking away and going to the 900's i think :/

  • name of song in background on @3:28 plaseeeee

  • Just bought one suckers!

  • Comment removed

  • now the dj is dead ,i own some cdj800mk2 i was 1210 for many years ,but this is fucked i saw wat i do, as a dj was an art ,but this bpm ting ,is stuiped and id like to beat the group of people who designed this ,my god it makes me want to go and buy some 1210s again and stamp on my cdjs and this time coded shit dont feel right ,spin backs dont sound right , lets take it back to vinyl

  • GALERA, ESTE EQUIPAMENTO É REALMENTE INCRIVEL. TENHO ESTE MIXER PARA VENDA. A VISTA CONSIGO FAZER POR R$ 1.OOO,OO. ESTOU EM ITAQUERA SÃO PAULO.

    ABRAÇOS ADRIANO BARÃO

  • Hay i'm thinking about buying some equipment. But i'm not quite sure what is best or me, my genre is Techno , Tech-house, and i'm wondering if the genre has an impact on what sort of equipment one should use...

Another is question..what would you recomend for me, I was thinking about either a traktor s4 controler + x1 controler (1000 €) or a pioneer set djm 350+ cdj 350 also (1000€)??

  • what is the track playing in the background?

  • So no hot cues on the 350?

  • lol yea he does sound like ellaskins! or is he?!!?!?!?!!

  • I embrase new technology but i also started with vinyl as well.

It's much easier to carry my set in digital format.

I enjoy tot entertain a small crowd and if new technology makes it easier, that's ok with me.The CDJ350 is fun to play with and combined with DJM350 it's fine set up to play with.

  • Mine are on the way! Can't wait!

  • @koolaidman94: Revolution Nightclub In Waterloo, Ontario, Canada has a pair of CDJ 400's which is practically the sister CDJ to the 350's above. Check out the website and go to the photo gallery January 22nd 2011 and look for picture number 22. That dj is using a pair of 400's. Myself and everyone else will expect a video of you cutting off your arm soon...

  • Does the djm 350 work with taktor? Can i plug in the cdj´s into my computer and use it with the djm? or do i have to have another mixer? Not sure i put this right, but what im asking is does the whole set work with traktor?

  • @MotionMenace2: have you checked out Pioneer's DJM-T1? That's a mixer made by Pioneer with dedicated controls for Traktor

  • I've got the 350 series and i have used the BPM Lock feature but am now learning to beat match, this isnt killing the art of DJing its just a feature for those who dont know or simply dont want to know how to beatmatch, do you think one day there will be professional DJ's who dont know how to beat match? I dont think so...

  • Loving all the beatmatching comments! Listen up next gen DJs, you better ask your grandpa about matching beats, cuz you aint shit if you don't! That's just the way it is! I have no problem with CDJs, I want to get these 350s so I can save money on tracks and dont have to wait for vinyl to ship anymore, but godDammit - don't be a poser dj who doesnt match beats!

  • @edyken77 get a laptop and Serato. you can still use your 1200s/1210s. It's even cheaper than buying cdjs as you don't have to burn shit to cd and you can carry your laptop to clubs too. So many people use it now

  • @MrRayner91184

1.) how is serato + macbook ( the only laptop I would use for serato) cheaper than a pair of these ($1300-$1400)?

2.) A lot of clubs don't even have decks anymore - just pioneer cdjs.

  • @edyken77 Fair game on comment about using a Macbook for Serato, it's the angle I am going to go for when I move to Australia. In the UK you can get a Macbook and Serato for around £1300 if you don't go for the Macbook Pro. Some people would rather use Windows laptops although for the life of me I can't think why, but I didn't know if you were all about Apple computers. As for point 2, Serato comes with both time coded vinyl and CDs so you could still use it on CDJs. And where are you?

  • @MrRayner91184 I'm in Milwaukee, WI in the states. I am not a Mac fanboy but seriously, you want the laptop that won't freeze so I'm guessing macbook pro would be a fav for DJs. You're right about Serato and use with the CDJs, I just figure it would be easier and more economical to just have a USB or external HD to play from instead of a laptop? To each his own - room for everyone's taste!

  • @edyken77

Not trying to be mean or anything, but Macs fucking suck, and normal Windows OS laptops can be used with decks, heck, most people do mixing without laptops these days.

  • @CreasedVermin2 yea i agree they are overpriced. But, even if you were getting a windows laptop, wouldn't you spend about $1500 to get the best one for music? That's about even with a macbook.

  • completely agree

  • wish i could afford this :(

  • @indecentdub I can't

  • @indecentdub How much He said ?

  • @SuperErin21 1700 euro

  • by the way the beatmatchings not always wors sometimes it just kind of crap

    i have cdj 350

  • For those of you who love the beat match function, you should know that the single requirement for a two deck Dj is the ability to beat match by ear.

-a rapper who does not write his own lyrics is not a rapper

-An artist who don't draw or paint his own art is not an artist

-a chef who can't cook is not a chef

-A DJ who needs to use an automatic beat function is not a DJ

  • I saw it today at GC, they are very nice and great features, to bad they don't have the nice jog wheel lights like the my cdj400s

  • man i wanted to get some of these cause they were cheaper than cdj2000s but they made it tooooo easy for noobs, theres too many ways to cheat, i guess i'll stick with vinyl

  • @theandehful Hey I hear you about cheating, but come on, you're telling me you'd rather pay for vinyl prices + shipping and lug crates around instead?

  • @edyken77 I like actually owning the song instead of just an mp3. It feels more authentic lol.

and yeah it is a pain lugging that stuff around but i think vinyl is more fun =D

  • @theandehful vinyl has it's charm but waiting for tracks to ship == deal breaker. Life is too short to wait a week for shipping.

  • @edyken77 Very true especially cause i live in the us and no one here carries the vinyl i want, so i have to order from like Germany and the UK. Thats why i bought traktor and use beatport for the tunes i cant wait for =D

  • @theandehful dude that is so true, Germany is churning out some of the best tracks right now!

  • He sounds exactly like ellaskins!

  • @hellyaproductions and he has the exact same hair like ellaskins!!!

  • @koolaidman94 I know, but well there are different kind of dj´s

1° the trash-"dj´s" the people that just play music & call themself´s a "DJ"

2° the begginer dj´s (like me) that are just starting but with skills

    and knowledge of electronic music

and 3° the pro djs that know all about all kind of electronic world

  • Fed up with idiots who claim learning to DJ using new technology is CHEATING!

I learned to mix on turntables when I was 15. I welcome new technology. I love that it is easier to use.

You cynical cunts need to realise that you can't just put any 2 tunes together and hit the sync button and call it mixing.

Being a good DJ is all about knowing what tracks go together, where to cue, how to make your set progress and evolve and how to please the listener as well as ENJOY what you are doing.

  • @kingklabe

If they made a CDJ3000 which all you had to do was plug in your ipod take a seat and select track while this CDJ3000 did all the mixing, scratching etc and decided when to play each track, would you say that the guy who picked the tracks was still a DJ?

If they made a glove which pianist could put on and with it he could play any song perfectly, but without it he couldn't do jack would he still be a great pianist?

  • Comment removed

  • @djresche87 You are making a judgement without even reading my comment properly. I am 30 and as much as you think I'm out of fashion I am still evolving and gaining momentum every day. Have a butchers at my channel then look at it again in 5 days.

I aint complaining about what the kids listen to or what they wear. I was not complaining about new technology. I said I am fed up with people who claim using new technology is cheating.

So why are you telling me to move on? I aint stopped moving.

  • @kingklabe alright mate calm down !

  • @IIxHEERYxII Yeah I took a deep breath and counted to 967 and now I'm calm. Cheers.

  • @kingklabe my take on the sync button is that it was intended to quickly fix any fuckups, most ppls think they shud use it all the time and call themselves a pro dj

  • @MrP00sy Right on. Just cos the beats are in sync does not mean the loop is in sync. I wouldn't criticize too harshly if someone using said button had each next track dropping into the key part at the same time as the other track but if they think they can just cue the fucker anywhere and hit SYNC then they are definitely not a pro.

    Don't just go 1,2,3,4 cue,sync. and definitely don't go 1,2,3,4,5,6 cue, sync.

Learn to match beat with the pitch and count 32 or 64 beats then cue on 33 or 65.

  • @kingklabe good form

  • @kingklabe same mate i've learn vinyl all the way new age dj's have no idea about it, it actually takes out all the fun

  • people's negative outlooks on these things are stupid as fuck. technology changes and the reciprocating elements of these changes ALWAYS require a specific skillset and are accompanied by an understanding that keeps it from becoming the "everybody can do this" melting pot. plus... not every man woman and child on the planet is interested in being a fucking DJ. FFS, man. being 'Old Skool' is cool until you really show your age. you probably have a cell phone. can you believe ppl had to dial once?

  • @koolaidman94 get over yaself ya flogger.

  • creo ese modelo esta mejor qe el 400

  • THINK PEOPLE THINK!!!!. TECHNOLOGY= EASIER LIFE, DONT JUST ASK WHAT HAPPENED TO THE GOOD OLD FASHION VINYL,

  • @patrickjambo17

Djing is an art not a task. the beauty of the arts is that you want to learn them for what they are. we have cameras and printers now but people still want to be painters. If you really think its all about the technology then why no do away with the DJ altogether and stick in a pre recorded MP3 set digitally put together by a computer program?

  • People going on about how technology has taken the skill out of it, roll with the times, a good set is all about good track selection anyway. No matter what the technology it will never be able to pick out the tracks for you, learning to rock a crowd is the skill you need to learn.

  • @brokenbiscuits

Most Dj's pre arrange their set and have done for some time this can easily be replicated by software. and the foundation skills in DJing is in the beat matching by ear. learning to "rock the crowd" is what makes you a good DJ but you ain't a Dj with no foundation.

  • 0:39 good old fashion CD... WTF happend to good old fashion vinyl??

  • @ExtraSilver

vinyl's are good but we need compact stuff for easy travel and being able to skip to the exact area of the song with ease

  • Lol people dont have to learn to mix anymore no skill, just good technology

  • what are u crying about u will still get more respect playing a 2000 than a 350 thats fact!

  • @bananenking Respect from who? A shallow cunt.

  • @koolaidman94 Technology goes and old ppl like you dont go

  • It's All About The Music, doesn't matter with what you bring it

  • @koolaidman94 I can understand that all that time practicing went to waste for you. Thats why you are so angry. Things change constantly and people can't accept it. This is fact. Remember this. Your style, track selection, moving a crowd, and actually loving the music makes a REAL Dj. Even though they made it easy to beat match it doesn't mean they can take that away from you.

  • People forget machines aren't very good at adapting suddenly and even my CDJ-400s are crap at getting BPMs accurate. The best DJs will always use their ears. As a learning curve, yes, they're handy. But even now, I cover mine up and use them more for getting estimates to write down on CDs before making up my mixes.

  • @koolaidman94 True, but one thing man: 20 years ago djs used turntables because there were no more choices. If 20 years ago you had this you used that. Technology is like that.

  • @koolaidman94 Bet the guy that was awesome at maths was pissed off when the calculator came out too...Fred Flintstone called, he want's he's era back.

  • @koolaidman94 Some genres require alot more precise BPM readout. Try mixing technical DNB and youll understand this doesnt begin to make it "automatic" ---mayby for shitty house music. lol. And beatmatching is like 5% of being a DJ. dont complain.

  • @Myscreename34987

totally agree, try this with D&B or Hip-Hop, you will see what happens...

  • @MrJotapunto my favourite thing about bpm counters and Drum & Bass is the fact that I once had a track at 220 bpm mixing with one at 78 bpm, according to the CDJs

  • Comment removed

  • @koolaidman94 Thats the thing with technology, in the end, even kids can do anything and everything anyone learn years to do. You are not wrong but you have to accept that things change and saying challenging is like saying driving is hard.. you get better with practice..

  • GET FUCKED... THAT IS INTECE !!!!!!!!

  • @koolaidman94 So true mate. I was hoping someone would say it :(

  • whats damping

  • @koolaidman and all the other haters..... first of all its up too u all to switch that function off.... second there are so many techno djs witch using traktor and autoset the bpms..... its pretty boring but its kind of a live setting with new arrangements of the songs.. as long it sounds good and the crowd feels it everything is fine....

hip hop djs will never use this autobeatmatch function these are two worlds

  • @Dangeilo

Hiphop Dj's can't use it because hip hop comes in a huge range of BPM's. and actually hiphop is the test of a real DJ, also because its a lot slower.

  • @jewlzoray I couldn't give a flying fuck if they made a CDJ90000 that scratches your balls and refills your drink while it picks tracks and cues them and all that jazz. It doesn't matter. A machine has no soul and therefore CANT feel the music like a real DJ.

Read my previous comment again. I didn't say I want a CDJ that does EVERYTHING.

I said I welcome new technology. ie; digital displays, cue point markers, usb ports etc.

A shit DJ will still be a fucking shit DJ no matter what they use.

  • @kingklabe

So let me just ask, what makes a Dj in your eyes? and when is that person no longer a DJ?

I don't care if they make CDj's that do it all either, but what annoys me is when and if they do, people who use them will claim to be as good as a propa turntable DJ. Its as different as painting vs photography.

  • WHY Oh WHY , whats the point of djing anyway now pioneer , love your stuff but you make kids now actual Tools now !

  • @koolaidman94 man i have been a dj for 13 years now but one thing is hate is other dj's yaking on about how beat matching is some kung fu mastery, i mastered beat matching in under a month and tbh beatmatching is a pain in the ass hurdle you have to get past in order to concentrate on what really takes skill in djing....PROGRAMING AND BLENDING THE MIX! Jesus what musical talent does it take to get two kick drums in sync?! Embrace technology that can help you grow as a dj!

  • @DjCryonic well said mate, beatmatching is not what makes a dj

  • @DjCryonic You really learned to beatmatch in a month????? i wouldnt say its that easy. most people struggle hard with it at first and it gets easier gradually for them.

  • @koolaidman94 @ DJEnCeeSE I can mix properly and i learnt on 1210s and not many people can nowadays, but you got to think now times are moving on and your not going to stop technology with stuff like bpm counters, auto bpm etc. etc.

So this is were a better dj takes advantage of this technology and make create even bigger more adventurus mixes!

Even if people can beat match this does not mean they can "mix". ok there beats match but dont mean it will sound good. ill defo getting some of these

  • is the usb on the mixer just for recording your mix on to a usb drive?

  • Haha thanks mate :)

  • Thanks mate, I do try, Ive been djing for 6 years and take pride in tune selection and mixing to my best ability, i'll agree though at times crowds couldnt care less, but i like to take pride in what i do, and make sure i mix my sets myself using CDJs or Vinyl but my sets take my effort and i take alot of time practicing for them rather then selecting a few cds and pressing BPM lock you know? Maybe im oldschool, who knows...

  • @DJEnCeeSE

You've got awesome set up bro and your cat needs to be sorted uut

  • Erm im not a bedroom dj mate and have played in various clubs such as Herbal in schorditch and various other bars and other venues in kent, I run my own drum and bass night too called SocialExperiment. Yes I dj in my studio indoors. Best to get your facts straight before assuming mate. The fact I played in a club last nighty mixing vinyl also means i know what im doing and have dj'ed for the past 6 years!! The fundamental part of being a dj with tune selection is actually being able 2 mix them

  • @DJEnCeeSE

That's cool boss. Respect for having your own night. People on the dancefloor won't care wether dj just mixed it himself or with a help of a software

  • @koolaidman94

I wish you kids just stop moaning and STFU about the importance of beatmatching. Don't be so anal. What you play and in what order and whether you are able to follow the mood of the crowd and give them what they want - THAT'S WHAT IMPORTANT!

  • Okay c4coffee whatever you say..

  • @DJEnCeeSE

It is clear now that you are a bedroom "DJ" and never played in a club. You are missing the point of DJing big time! It's not for playing tunes in a bedroom to a wall - it's for entertaining other people. You get reward and excitement back from the people on the dancefloor - you don't get much reward from your wall in the bedroom. No one interested in how well you beatmatch in your bedroom. It's like wanking

  • These would have been nice, but look at the jog wheel, I know it's not what the cdj looks like but that jog wheel looks bad.

  • i agree with all these comments about beat maching and BPM Lock and stuff.. but if we all just think about it, its a good function to have.. its not that you HAVE to use it. Pioneer just came up with this so that people that want to learn can learn faster, they have te option of not using the BPM lock and they can use it if they are having trouble. of course you wouldnt enjoy it as much but still.

i say its a really good set to start with..

  • Southside Spinners - Luvstruck 2010 (Filthy Rich remix) :D

  • people should learn beat matching etc, but just to understand the music they are mixing. Once the essentials are learnt, bpm lock/sync will step djing up to the next level. People need 2 embrace technology. Deal with it, cause the invention of the car wasnt to make transport for "n00bs who can't use their legs like us REAL walker's who spent years practising". Learn that beat matching is only the basics of mixing nowadays, & much more complex and enjoyable mixes are in the not so distant future.

  • @djconetits people should learn to beatmatch but sync is handy and better to use in clubs so everything is just smooth

  • @djconetits I get your point , but I don't agree , Beatmatching is mixing . Understand the word mixing? That means matching the tracks with eachother , that's what's dj'ing is all about , not only about effects .

Yes, you could use bpm-lock and throw a shitload of awesome effects on it , but what would be hard about dj'ing then? Then everybody even the biggest noob to dj'ing could mix .

Beatmatching it what makes it fun , I can't beatmatch really fine yet , but I will practise !NotUse bpm-lock

  • @Seantube3 No, beatmatching is adjusting the speed so you can mix., A good DJ doesn't relly on his beatmatching, they get loved for by what they play, by their choice of music and their transitions. The audience doesn't care if you watched the BPM counters to match the two beats, they won't care.

BPM lock is an unnecessary feature if you ask me, but it's a great way to mix 2 different genres. I do not enjoy the beatmatching of DJ'ing the most, I enjoy the part where everybody dances on my songs.

  • @Njamimars well , the beatmatching is part of the transistion if you ask me , I'm just that kind off guy that enjoys pure mixing , and yes for beatmatching different genres that's interesting though :D

  • @djconetits It might be the basics, but beat matching is very important. Seriously, if you can't beat match or you have no interest in being good at it you shouldn't DJ. Just be a producer or an 'act' or whatever like Deadmau5.

  • @edyken77 your right, i know you cant get waay from tech theses days but if it were up 2 me it would be back to the 1210's where the skill was getting your beat match and your technical ability

  • @djconetits I agree and disagree with what you're saying. Yes having your software/hardware do the beatmatching for you to allow for more creative mixing is great, but a lot of people rely on the BPM counters to do that basic mixing for them. But this is my contradictory point, any good DJ can beatmatch anyway. Look at any genre of dance music for this. The other issue is that for the same price as a pair of CDJ 350s you can get Serato and have change

  • @djconetits I agree! People need to realise beatmatching is simply an hurdle you have to overcome in order to mix. Track selection, EQ'ing and harmonics are where the real skill of mixing is found in my opinion. Its funny, most for the guys slatting this product probably can't mix (walk like us real walkers) but they can beatmatch, a skill that a chimp could learn given 1-2 years practice!

  • @koolaidman94 : yes, i think counting bars is more natural, but if it doesn´t take so much time, you can also spend time on adding effects or else. these days, the most professional DJs,they also use such cd-players.

  • sigh : ( looking for help from the more experienced DJ's/ older ones. I'm using a midi controller setup in Traktor, and I REALLY want to learn how to beatmatch. I can easily count bars, but anyone have tips on beatmatching tracks? Any help would be really appreciated, I see how older DJ's are pissed with gear like this, but I have the upmost respect for DJ's who learned on TT's, w/o software : )

  • master bpm....... its not djing anymore its just itunes playlisting -.-

  • can play with virtual dj?

  • lol they made these soo borring... It does everyhting for you..

    Sio Lameee ahahaha

  • This Is F--ked Up!!! Pioneer's now catering for the NOOB Dj industry!

  • yeh but you probably play shit music

  • Why not implement AUTOMIX as well, then you have no need for a deejay at all.

isn't that what you are striving for?

DEEJAY= Some ignorant punk that choose the tunes, or the expert who creates miracles with music and REAL GEAR!, like Vinyl or tabletop cds with no fuckin help, more then pitch, mastertempo

    soundcloud/7an

  • These are perfect to use if you dont know what DJing is and want to learn the basics, but at the same token I think if you learn on turntables it's just as rewarding....why does pioneer want to introduce all this easy mixing crap when nobody wants it but the people who think they are djs when theyre just douchebags

  • this cdj is more a midi controller... it's to easy to mix... boaring

  • We're able to beatmatch like the other cdj's right? If yes what about buy one pair of 350's and practise beatmatching without that fu... BPM lock and new things, is it possible?

  • This is why i still love my Techincs. Nothing automatic. And when i DO use my CDJ's, i still manual adjust the speed/pitch.

  • thanks pioneer for destroying the art of djing

  • I got to say I started with vinyl years ago. There was no better feeling than perfectly matching your beats because you actually had to work for it. But I like the fact that you can focus more on the creative side of things when it comes to mixing with cdjs

  • So it's not really beatmatching, it's doing all the bloody work for you! I'll be buying these but I wont be using BPM Lock!

  • pioneer what are you doing??? 5 mins on these i would be bored!!. mixer shit decks shit!

  • LOL, basically it's all just one long tedious way of pressing a sink button.

    YYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • for all you haters of beatmatching

    /watch?v=6paJXfJhpI8

thats carl cox, one of the most famous techno djs in the world. he was known as the THREE DECK WIZARD. so he is someone who can use the traditional way. but now he uses traktor. not coz its easy, but coz with the computer doing the beatmatching, he can focus on doing live remixing and many other cool things. i appreciate beat matching as s respectable skill. but a good dj is about the ambience he crates, not how he creates it

  • @kazinazakat : best comment so far!

  • well said !!

  • @kazinazakat three deck wizard? carl cox dont make me laugh have you heard of billy daniel bunter who mixes on 4 turntables on a regular basis every raindance at londons se1 he does it hes a turntable wizard

  • @kazinazakat nonetheless carl cox is a good dj ijust hate his music

  • @koolaidman94 im one of those dumb kids :)

  • i have all these with vci100 and traktor : ) but i know its not the same quality but its all about music : ) cheers

  • You're all a bunch off crybaby's... naggin it took you years to learn how to beat match and count bars. If you're worried about competition cause anyone can DJ now, you just have to step up your game..!!! These pieces of shit as you call it are yet another model of cdj you can scratch with. They're an excellent budget tool with possibillities you can use to improve your own skills.

  • very much so aimed towards new bedroom djs...

  • @koolaidman94 NO offense, but if you've been a DJ for so long, by now you should have realized that DJing is about playing the right tunes at the right time, and not about your skills. People on the dance floor could care less about what you are doing behind at the console. You could have the craziest skills and mix using just cassette players and a basic mixer, but if your tunes suck ass, you are a BAD DJ. These things just make certain things easier. It still takes a good ear to make a good DJ

  • @djaditya86 Lol ur totally right..And when u buy this thing it doesnt meen u beat lock every song.. u can also try it by yourself.. and yes they care only about what ur playing not how ur playing..

  • @djaditya86 agree completely. dj's are judged on the music they play. only if u completely fuck up a transition will anyone notice what ur doing.

  • Thats a good point what jamesdave said.. If this is for "starting dj's" how is this going to teach them about the real world of djing?... no club anywhere will have CDJ-350's. therefor once they do decide there good enough, there gonna jump on a CDJ-1000 or 900 or even 2000 and realize, SHIT i dont kno anything about beat matching or bar counting... This is not the way to learn... best thing to do is get urself a pair of second hand 400's and practice song after song how to really beat match.

  • @saadsta89 your right i'm training 4 jears to beat match

  • Looks mad and a mini cdj for half the price !

  • @koolaidman94 well that's the evolution of technology.. that's how it goes.. i learned from vinyl also.. but every club that i've applied as a dj, they use cd mixers so i have to get along..

  • But still you really real dj's gonna use it? I just bought a set and I know the autoBPM function but I never use it. If you can't beatmatch by ear you aren't much of a dj that's true :)

  • Everyone who thinks that this cdj is crap because it ruins the challenge for everyone else, just think that these "dj's" that buy this machine whont ever be able to use a cdj1000 or cdj900 EVER. They wont go anywhere..

  • 2 koolaidman94:

    completely agree with you!!!

  • Do you actually think technology was never going to advance. Just because you spent years learning to beat match . Doesnt give you a reason to be upset. You've had years djing so no kid who gets these and djs is going to be on stage if anything its going to be a skilled dj. By the way i learned how to count bars and beatmatch in 3 months if not less.

  • I have a question: can you use recordbox on those cdj-350's cause I see there is a little card in vision at some moments in the video whet recordbox on it.

But do the cdj-350's come with the recordbox cd ? ::)

    alrready thx :)

  • @Logicdj: Yes, it is compatible to recordbox.

  • Actually, there are some good and bad sides.

I agree with people, who think, that 'BPM LOCK' is sh*t. Of course, beginner DJs should know, how to beatmatch manually, but for professional DJs, like Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Tiesto etc this feature would be really helpful. They just put CD in the player and the bpm is already matched. You can use it, but don't use it too often.

About the mixer - it think it sucks. Really sucks. No flanger, no chorus, no echo. SUCKS! That's my IMHO.

  • Is pionner going back in time, cuz these look like bricks. the day Pioneer makes a cdj with a spinning platter like denon, I'll buy a set, till then i'll keep my 1's n 2's no matter how better cdjs get.

Today the bg companies are making toys for rich kids to spend on, no more real quality.

  • have this player some effekts in there?

  • BPM Lock is shit and Stupid , that dumb kids can beatmatch with that CDJ because is automatic, but in a party or anywhere, that CDJ CANT give them Style, Technique, Good Music, And The Feeling that a REAL DJ HAVE.

I aprove the advance of the tecnology in DJ Industry but this is STUPID for real.

  • I won't buy the mixer (own a DJM 909) but the record function is something many mixers could benefit from. No longer needing to use Macbook to record and then bringing that to my main PC (Audacity is buggy on the Mac).

  • BPM lock, haha what a load of boring shit, you might aswell call yourself a jukebox not a DJ.

  • i'd hate to use these as if you start using the beat lock you'll lose the skill and be fucked as soon as you end up back on vinyl or a more pro cdj!

  • fuck this shit dj is about live mixing!!!

  • DJM doesn't look so good and the cdj are good

  • its beatmixing making the dj the best its about making cool mixes and mashups and right songs like harmonic
