My Senegal does the same thing with our cylindrical pillow. Once I was holding an empty pill bottle and he just about had a heart attack. Eye flared whiter than I have ever seen. He rolled, chewed, and threw the bottle up in the air for hours. I do not understand what he thinks he is doing, do they generally have to fight rolling objects in the wild? Although he is a little dumber than my other bird I think my parrot is pretty kool. Even rolls over he likes his belly scratched like a dog.

Our Senegal has a similar reaction to a 5" tall statue of "David" that squeaks when you squeeze it. It makes him furious!!! I stopped showing it to him for fear it would make him too aggressive!

Thanks! :) I'm still trying to figure out what people think is the farting sound, though.

Senegals really need a lot of attention. The more interaction the better, I think, although this bird can spend several hours in her cage and be fine. Of course, the cage is usually sitting next somebody. Also: They are very VERY territorial about their cages. Also, they *tend* to bond mostly with one person. "Sweetie Pie" is very attached to my dad and when he's not around she gets very flustered.
