Aslaamalaikum, I thought to share my experience. In early Sept. 2011 I sowed some saffron
bulbs which were received from Europe, in Lahore. During end October, leaves began to come out. When these were about 4/5 inches, the flowers appeared, giving 3 threads each.
Thus, you will note that it can be grown in Lahore's climatic and other conditions. I may be contacted at iapiracha44@hotmail.com
